Housing is very expensive.
Job prospects are kinda shit, and even if you do get a good job, security is at an all time low.

>oy vey goyim move out as soon as possible so you can be stuck renting forever instead of staying with your parents and saving up to buy your own house and start a family

I moved out at 28. Bad idea. Never learned how to deal with money and without my wife looking over things, I'd be nothing. But it was great in retrospect.

I am 45 and still haven't moved out.

That's just sad, user.

It wasnt uncommon for entire familes to share and live under the same roof for generations. The whole owner occupier phase was only really a thing post world war II during a time where industry and quality of life flourished.

Because we were outcasted as austistic freaks from the beginning. Never properly socialized and after 4 years old you're basically fucked. NEETs will destroy the system that rejected them.

That's not really true

>move out
all the land has been bought by foreigners. My parents didn't have adequate resources to enable me a good future, I will not spread their genes very far at all. It's that simple. They're stupid and they had kids at a bad time - I will never have kids. I don't want a single sentient progeny to experience the ape planet that's coming

I did something a bit different, I moved in with my grandparents to help around the house and hopefully bring some activity to their lives. My mom was doing heroin and pill popping and my dad has always been absent, but my grandparents have always been their for me and I want to give back

Fuck wrong there. "They have always been -there- for me"

It's fucking hard to get established, man. I'm in my 30s now, and I have a good career going and I make lots of money. But that shit didn't happen until I was about 28. Before then I had to accept being the bottom rung that everyone else shits on. You have to pay your dues an entire decade longer than our grandfathers did.

It took forever to reach anything close to 'established'. I was a hard worker. Reliable, dependable, etc, and all through my youth companies would just take advantage of me. It felt fucking great to go to my boss at 27 and be like "I got a better offer". He looked at me and asked "how much, maybe we can match it?". I got to respond: "It's 2x what you're paying me". That was a long time coming. But dammit, it feels good.

>men

Depends on place and culture. From what I've understood it's not uncommon to still have generations in same household in southern Europe.

the fuck? how you think rural people lived for generations? centuries even. still pretty common in the east/some parts of asia

Because a one bedroom apartment in my state costs 1000-1200 a month and I only make 12/hr

What part of that is not true?

Guys that have it easy living with mom will put up with humiliation and destitution. They will reason with themselves and make up excuses and then go to bed and wake up the next day and always have thoughts of moving out or starting their life but then watch more anime and play more videogames and watch youtube and watch movies and spend their day infront of the PC then go to sleep and repeat the process the next day.

>he bought into the system

hahaha! you'll be in the bread line with the other proles in no time

They started their own families on their own land.

>capitalism
>bread line

???

jews?

Illegal Immigrants causing the price of housing to Double and stagnating the wages.

Because it's a smart decision. Moving out early in combination with student loans (which is almost ever case) is the dumbest thing you could do.

Who did you think owned land for centuries. Before the modern ages?

Kek.

the aborogigines.

Err, no. I mean, stocks would have to crash really fucking hard to even come close to ruining me. I guess if the entire system collapsed I'd go down too, but at that point everyone's fucked. And at least I have a few thousand rounds of ammo, guns, a sturdy SUV, and tons of supplies.

Money is a good thing user. Go out and get some.

If your parents are nice and give you breathing room to do tour own thing, then live with them until you're thirty. If you have shitty parents that outright torture you mentally, then move out immediately. If you have act like 12 year old doing chores and obediently listening to them you should leave without a second thought. That kind of behavior can turn you into a farm animal.

>student loans

also fuck you and everyone else that had a stable childhood where you get to stay at home and go to school and not worry about anything.

why the fuck did I get the drug addict parents? why did my parents have to be addicted to meth and poor and ruin my fucking credit.

IT'S NOT FUCKING FAIR BROS

No expenses = more money in my bank account
I'm not moving out until I'm 23

Small 1 bedroom apartment where I live = $1,350 (utilities not included)

You can't afford that unless you make double the "living wage" in my state.

Student loans. We're already in debt with college, why get in more debt with a house?

I do it for multiple reasons.

I have a decent career, but in the area I live in the average rent for a one bedroom apartment is around 2k. So I can pay a good majority of my post-tax paycheck into the hands of some jack-off who couldn't give two shits about me and will fuck me over in a heartbeat, or I can pay 20% to my parents and ensure that they are well taken care of.

Another reason is more personal. My dad is an abusive dick to my mom and is an alcoholic cheater too. If I move out I will spend most of my time stressing out over how she's doing. While I live at home though, I can and have played the role of mediator and body guard. So while I do feel like I'm being emasculated living with my parents, I feel it's for the greater good of my family.

I didn't move out until my early 20's but I paid for my room and board - because I'm not a fucking deadbeat sponge

There are no “men” in their 20s, only little boys trapped in big boy bodies. Can’t even really call them men

Over using porn has made me contempt with life, also socially anxious.

I'm 28 and I moved out at 17. They left me a flat. Since then I feel really lonely because I'm a NEET and all I have is 4chin. Thinking about become a hero.

Maybe you should have gotten a degree in something that wasn’t pure dogshit, perhaps?

because we cant afford it lol. boomer trash scum reaping what they sow now.

Im 20 and I live with my gf's parents. Does that count?

You guys keep living in your mother's basement so this 20 something young hotties come to this oldfags house.

>Money is a good thing user. Go out and get some.
Honestly it really is. I never valued it, still don't as much as I probably should, until pretty late into the life game

>men
>live with their parents
Costanza.jpeg

im 21 and just moved out , glad i waited so long actually as i felt prepared.

nah you're good

Moving out is a Jew scam to break families apart and earn more or rent.

>Why do so many men in their 20's still live with their parents?
Because these days, this age bracket still equates to childhood, unlike 20-30 years ago when folks in their twenties were young adults

>no money
>no well enough paying job
>housing expensive as fuck

Fucking Canada economy is crashing.

Top kek at all these alt right fags who still live with their parents because Drumpf's trickle down economics keep them poor but they still lick his kike boots

As opposed to kid mutilating commie shitskins still in their parents basement or squatting in some fire hazard on the regressive left? fucking leafs

Because an apartment in Stockholm costs 500.000 USD and no kid in his 20s can afford this without taking out a massive loan

they wanted children, they got children
I'm gonna stay here and play videogams

Test

Because college is expensive and you can no longer make minimum wage and be able to afford living alone while paying for college, etc.

>Hurr durr make college free!

Then college degrees would mean even less of a shit than they currently do now and would flood with niggers that don't try. I would at least like to pay my debts a bit after getting my bacc's before I have no choice but to go back for a master's. And I would also prefer to be 100K in debt than have to sit in a class with loud niggers that don't care about passing in the slightest.

give a good reason why it's sad? if the user enjoys his life i don't see anything sad in it faggot

>Bad idea. Never learned how to deal with money and without my wife looking over things

Thats your parents fault not yours. What were your parents doing for the last 28 years? I can't understand how you don't have sit downs (like mine did) and lecture on and on about adult shit. My dad loved to monologue about being a responsible adult.

Test

awwwwww yisssss

I don’t know many, in fact my only mate who still lives with his parents is a virgin and didn’t go to uni. I moved out at 19 for uni and then got a job straight after so found a house share. My contract ends in 4 months though so I might be off back home if I can’t go straight into anything else.

Are you fucking retarded?

Renting is absurd.

Due to giving Niggers and Spic mortgages they couldn't fucking afford getting mortgages now if you White is fucking difficult.

If you don't know how difficult it is getting a mortgage these days its cause your dated boomer piece of shit that voted in politicians that gave niggers and spic loans they couldn't afford.

Fuck you.

How are you supposed to afford to not live at home?

Trump has only been in office for a year fag.

Why are all women whores and not worth starting a family with?

>Then college degrees would mean even less of a shit than they currently do now

Unless free college is available only if you're in the top 10% of SAT takers.

The system seems pretty fucked in America. I had a browse at some jobs in my field in America just out of curiosity and I couldn’t believe the amount of qualifications you need just for an entry role compared with the UK.

Digits confirm

Cause you suck

because my parents don't mind, I get to save my money, and have no expenses
why should I move out to a shittier apartment when I can stay in this big ass house and hang with my parents?

>Land first full time job
>Identify the suburb I want to buy in because I see great growth potential after a year of saving for a deposit
>One year later, have deposit money
>Suburb median price went up 22% in that fucking year

Such is life in Melbourne

Wish I had some guidance in my life when I was young, now a 23 year old neet with very little motivation. I feel like my life could be so much different if I did a couple things different when I was young, was a chad in primary school with everything going for me but let it all slip away from me when I was sent to a high school far away from home and let depression get the better of me.

>so many men in their 20's
And women.

...

I honestly don’t see the point in moving out just for the sake of it. Maybe it’s some cultural thing?

I did it because I moved to another city and some people here choose to move out of their parents homes even when they have a shit salary. Renting can be absurdly expensive in some brazilian major cities. An excusable move if you have a bad relationship with your parents.

(Most people I know did it just for “freedom” and can’t even afford furniture and rent, their places are shit.)

Of course, I’d move out if having a real reason like family, but let’s face it, nobody does that in their 20s unless they are some kind of poor unfortunate unlucky asshole (or a very rare cases of succesful career.

It’s like the current system is designed so we all are a little bit soyboys on purpose.

Talking about my brazilian experience, no idea how it is around the globe.

Only not so in America because of the pioneer culture, manifest destiny, followed by industry

just moved back home while I enter into law school ... parents have a house very close to the school so it just made the most sense to be here.

really miss the sense of independence that came along with living alone though

Here user do ssris

Damn bro get help.

These turn into boomer hate threads. Anons in here live with their parents and a lot of them hate their parents for not setting them up to move out. Guys like you are trying to make something out of nothing. My parents just wanted me to work hard, they weren't handed anything. Low rate jobs are a start without education and in this day it's hard to move out without a roommate. We all gotta deal with this shit, we can't point a finger forever.

We dont! Its just u lil faggot nazi twerps hahaha sware to god this site got me dead!! Talkin bout still in ya moms basement innya 20s o my god u cant make it up!!! Im dyin!!

fucking kek, best comment on this thread

money

The final boss on that front door must be every Gradius game combined.

>tfw autistic AND parents never offered me any guidance or tried to reason with me.

What if i live with my parents and have a job? I dont like taking loans and being in debt at all, so fuck you niggers who suck kike dick.

This. Commiefornia, Jew York, Taxachusetts, Cuntecticut are all like this.

Now no understand the ozzy nigger dick posters

Honestly it's because doctors aren't prescribing the right meds to kids.
"I'm not depressed"
"Sure thing just take this antidepressant and you're good to go"

Rent and student loans.

This.

California built half the amount of homes it was supposed to. Aka, rent is fucked in this state. People should be in prison for this. And because of that, apartments and even homes are OLD AS FUCK, especially in SoCal. I couldn't believe how shitty the apartments were in some beach areas. The landlords have no reason to update them because these faggot beach bums keep renting them for a premium price. So many god damn seemingly normal wealthy people deserve to be in PRISON. I'm talking University workers, government workers, police officers, people in the medical field, news reporters. The system, IS, FUCKED.

Well in my case, when they told me to get out, I told that "I will kill you if that happens". And so I still live there.

P O W E R F U L

No but srsly, good on you man! :^)

in my country it's quite normal to go back your parents house or expand it after you find a wife, and it goes on for generations like that.
moving houses like you guys do in america is very rare here.
i mean why would i let our home go to waste when my parents and grandparents spent their life building it.
the thing is we get jobs, and instead of our parents supporting us now we support and take care of them in their old age.
i've been living my entire life with my parents and grandparents(fathers side), until i moved out for college, but i expect to go back one day.

Why not? I currently live in my parents basement while working at a part time job and going to college, this is the perfect life. No rent, independence, can visit my folks whenever I want.

Well I inherited their shit world and they tried, in collaboration with the rest of the world, to make me a domesticated wagecuck to preserve that shit world. I owe them nothing but suffering for it. They know better than to trigger me and make me pay my dues.

I don't want to rent, but houses are way above the price I want to pay. I'm fine saving money right now. Have like 45k in my bank account and about 25k in retirement. I'm 28 so I'm getting to the point soon where I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and buy something.

>Thats your parents fault not yours
What? If hes 28 he must have worked at least for some time during that and thus have had his own money. Why is it his parents fault he has no self control?

my brother has been working all around the world and now he's back home.
we have a lot of land so it doesn't make sense to buy new property, instead we expand on the house.
it's kind of the security that i know i can always come back home, even though i will likely get my own apartment in a bigger city as well.
