newly arrived immigrants like to see their kin doing well. The children grow in our very easily digestible civilization that speaks of freedom, living out your dreams, ect... Most of the 1st naturally born are some of the hardest working people I have met. Their parents usually have stories of how bad it was back home, and they're usually forced to work really hard.
I believe you need 2/3rds of states(which doesnt happen with mixed parties representing GOP and democrats) to ask for a constitutional convention. Proceed to ask for amendments, and get supermajority in the senate and house, and I believe 3/4 of states need to ratify it.

Birthright citizenship is a common thing in North and South American countries, dating back when they explicitly wanted to facilitate the migration of foreigners to boost their presence and influence into their unsettled land (Manifest Destiny anyone?). Of course back then the only countries capable of navigating the oceans were a handful of European countries so the racial element was never even an issue: all migrants were all White Europeans.
Coincidentally is also a useful tool for the Jewish nature of undermining their host nation and, given how difficult it is to change a status quo that has persisted for centuries, they make plenty use of it.

14th Amendment, which was passed because it was decided that states wouldn't give citizenship to blacks unless forced to. If you want to know "Why is America doing X", it usually involves either "guilt over slavery", "guilt over not letting in enough Jews in WW2", or "guilt over Native Americans", but only rarely.

Once California, & most of the south turn into a 80-90% spic cesspool, where the signs would be in Spanish, and school classes would be taught in Spanish, then, the last bastion of whites who live in Maine & Alaska, would disparately need a constitutional convention to revoke the 14th amendment- which if this fantastical hypothetical situation succeeds, it would be too late even then!

Originally it didn’t do that however: after the civil war there was a LOT of debate that slaves couldn’t be given citizenship due to legal technicalities like being born property. In order to stop the controversy the radical congress after the civil war made an amendment that not only freed the slaves but gave them citizenship full stop as well as making anyone born in the United States territory a citizen for good measure since pro-slavery judges could just say “oops technicality” and try and get around the post civil war amendments.
Everyone in the time seems to have understood that “born in the US” stuff to be explicitly about freeing the slaves but it’s wording meant that from then on anyone born in the US was a citizen. It needs to be amended now since it’s being abused and the media is mostly silent on it. What’s the point of having an immigration policy if any leaf or Mexican mother can just travel a bit and bam(!) her kid has FULL citizenship in the US and presumably in their country of origin. Its wildly unfair, we’re being screwed.

You get whatever Citizenship your parents have. My Parents are German and therefore I am a German citizen.
If you were born in Germany to foreign individuals, you would not be eligible to become a German citizen automatically.
Only exception is when one of the Parents has been a legal resident for at least 8 years.
