I haven't watched GT in something like 10 years but i remember Baby being a decent villain, and right now Super hasn't done 1 thing that i like except re-introducing a bit of tactics to its fights(which we all know are not gonna matter in the end)

I liked it, SS4 is still the best one in the series. A lot of people hate it for the same reason they hold most opinions, because it's the popular one. Lots of people hate it and make long rants about why it's bad so people who barely remember it or have never even seen it take them at face value and assume it's terrible. It happens with tons of cartoons and game series.
I just think it's a weird jump from ss3 to ss4 monkey fur and shit. I'd thought ss4 should be them getting closer to beings of pure energy or something not getting hairy.
What bothered me about SS4 (besides Goku's magic pants, Vegeta's super mullet, the dub's edgy voice, etc) is that

Super 17 and Babi were insufferable, the transformation was weird as fuck and inconsistent with the series (as interesting as it might be) and the powerlevels got ridiculous yet the fights didn't seem to be that much more impressive. Also Pan.

I liked the SSJ4 concept, although it's obvious that it isn't the same transformation as the previous Super Saiyan stages. Definitely more interesting than "just add God Ki to the SSJ and walla"

To be honest, ending was good because of nostalgia. It wasn't because of what GT achieved, but because they showed DB/DBZ. It was hard for me watching Goku for what it seemed to be the last time, all the memories and the feelings they brought in that clip, and I can't believe how much I like that song even though it's gay as fuck.
GT Kid Goku being ugly as fuck is reason enough to hate the show.
So I only recently hopped on the super train, and I never watched ANY of GT at all. But after reading this thread, I'm really glad I fucking didn't. All of this shit, even the "positives" listed sound like utter garbage.

I don't really care as much for Dragon Ball universe anymore, but, when I did, GT always seemed off.
The new places they travelled to were just taken from fantasy 101 with no creativity whatsoever. The villains didn''t have enough time to build up hype and they were taken care of too soon, without setting up a network of events that would bring to their demise.
Honestly, that was the main reason I stopped caring about anything DB related. It just felt no heart whatsoever was put into this shit and the team itself had no idea at all on why the manga series was so successful to begin with.

Vegeta - Technically absent throughout the only passable arc in GT (Baby Saga). Couldn't beat an unfused Android 17. Cheated his way to SS4, and only jobbed with it.
Goten - Not only is he useless (DBS Goten is pretty useless too), but he barely has a presence in GT in general. I can't count Baby Goten, since that's technically Baby not Goten.
Gohan - Jobbed even though in the GT time-line, he supposedly never stopped training. Very unimportant in the show in general as well.
Trunks - At least he got some screen-time in the first saga, but after that he was pretty absent and unimportant. Not to mention: not only was he was surprisingly weak, why did he have Future Trunks' personality?

Uub - As Goku's "successor", he wasn't' very useful or important. Also nerfed heavily after the Baby Saga.
Buu - Only purpose in GT was a few scenes with Mr Satan, then get absorbed by Uub (which in the end, was pretty pointless)

Yamcha - I think he was in literally one scene in GT? He wasn't even doing anything and didn't say anything either iirc. Pointless.
