They are saying it is virtually impossible to start the development of a homegrown nuke carrying bomber and ground attack aircraft now for delivery in 2023 to 2025.
The leaves the Eurofighter and the F-35, considering the F-18 and F-15 are literally ruled out from the start.
Relying on the Eurofighter as the single aircraff for the Luftwaffe is just damn wrong. Also, the problems with the aircraft show how darn bad the jet is.
Why does Trump not get a deal with Merkel, selling her 150 to 200 F-35s at a discount “friendship” rate? If Germany agrees to bomb all targets Amerika wants to bomb until 2040, a discounted price would be justified.
We have helped you in all your wars since 1945 except Korea, Nam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Panama etc. So what the hell?
Brody Phillips
>We have helped you in all your wars since 1945
Convenient start date.
Zachary Kelly
Before 1945 we were enemies, lad. We were your enemies in the war that defined your current society.
Matthew Price
traitor they are still our enemys for as long as they suck the jewis cut dicks
Sebastian Barnes
Not really, we have backed them up in many wars and are also selling a shitton of military equipment to them, e.g. a lot of the diesel engines in their tanks are made in Germany.
Jose Murphy
>Why does Trump not get a deal with Merkel, selling her 150 to 200 F-35s at a discount “friendship” rate? Because fuck your allies, they want to sell us Patriot missiles for a higher price than other countries despite us being their "ally" and the most Eastern "flank" of NATO ie the buffer zone.
>America >having allies any other than the one Kek.
Josiah Hall
You'd sell it to anyone and they'd buy it from anyone. That's how making money works.
Jordan Gutierrez
Trump would have to be out of his mind to sell military technology to Germany.
Elijah Anderson
>a lot of the diesel engines in their tanks are made in Germany. we use turbines because merica. get fucked, kraut
Adam Phillips
Friedrichshafen/Detroit, 6 October 2008. Tognum’s subsidiary MTU Detroit Diesel, the leading supplier of heavy duty diesel engines to the United States Army, announced today that it will continue to support the Army’s legions of Detroit Diesel 2-cycle engines. The most concrete example of this support was evidenced last month in the form of a 2-cycle parts contract that began in September 2008 with optional extensions through 2013.
Since decades, MTU Detroit Diesel and its forerunner companies have been providing engines to the United States military. It is estimated that the U.S. Army accounts for nearly 10% of the three million 2-cycle engines that the company has produced since 1938. While the Army is currently MTU’s largest customer in terms of new 2-cycle engines, there have also been a large number of 2-cycle engines used by the Navy, Coast Guard and Marines, as well as allied nations.
MTU is also at the forefront of new development for military applications, such as the Army’s Future Combat Systems (FCS) modernization project. The company was awarded a contract for engine development to power these vehicles with its Series 890 four-cycle engine. The first pilots are now running in demonstration vehicles with many more to follow.
German diesel engine maker Tognum AG said its U.S. subsidiary received contracts from General Dynamics Corp. and BAE Systems PLC to provide propulsion systems to power the ground combat vehicle program of the U.S. Army. Financial details weren't disclosed. Recently, General Dynamics and BAE Systems separately received contracts worth about $439 million for the technology development phase of the U.S. Army's ground combat vehicle program.
>e.g. a lot of the diesel engines in their tanks are made in Germany
also >Even though there is a dev project to put German diesels into the next gen of the Abrams. The improved engine and tracks are not part of an Army upgrade program, but may be included in a near-term engineering change proposal (ECP) phase.[102][103] tldr it ain't going to replace the turbine because turbines offer unique tactical advantages compared to loud as fuck diesels. The Abrams is nicknamed the whispering death for a reason.
Adrian King
Again, where did I speak of the Abrams?
Also I provided you two sources of German diesels being used in armored ground combat vehicles, also called “tanks”. What is your problem? Even Brits use Germam diesels.
Austin Davis
refer to my last reply to see where you implied that the Abrams uses a diesel. that is our "tank" and all 10,000+ of them use a turbine.
Luis Campbell
You'll buy the (((F35))) because you're controlled by (((them)))
Ryan Torres
We'd rather use them on you. Do your grandparents speak Russian?
Chase Sullivan
A failed overpriezed multirole plane, i can totaly imagine our military buying it. At this point looking at our military it doesn't really matter what multirole jet they buy, since in order to use them you would need air supperiorty fighters, which we likley won't have anyway.
Christian Harris
Fact. We built this shit world, and stopped you from building a utopia.
