>The fantasy action light novel series takes place on a continent ruled by chaos. Lodoss didn't run on DnD mechanics, though. There were no mentions of stats, level ups, rolls or anything like that. Hopefully this could be the same.
But I do worry that it'll be too video gamey. A-1 Pictures made Grimgar, which was pretty good, but the video game mechanics were a bit distracting.

He's an animator and he worked on Flying Witches as an animation director, that poster is just retarded (also listed Satoshi Yano instead of Shunsaku Yano). And any generic-ness in the designs would be the fault of the original illustrator, not the animation character designer, we haven't even seen the anime version of the characters yet.
