Realistically speaking, she's only going to go so far travelling alone like that before she runs into a group of thugs too large or too crafty for a teenage girl with a six shot revolver to handle regardless of skill, but it's pretty unrealistic they would see her and automatically assume she's female, most likely they'd just kill and rob her without ever discovering she was a girl.

She's also some sort of gunslinger/weapons prodigy so it's not inconceivable that she could probably fight off a fairly large group, or at least die in the attempt. It would take a very large group of people, most willing to die to take her alive.
You mean the OVAs? Yeah they are pretty good. Their quality does vary though, the best would be the land of sickness one so if you only watch one, watch that.

But to answer your question, I'd say that probably easter EU countries because of relatively lax visa requirements and still having relatively small towns throughout. Either that or a big continuous country like russia. From there you could go for a long time without visa checkpoints, and when you do go through one you can go to another big ass country that borders or nearly borders it.

I think it will be a sequel, if a miracle happens it'll have a 2 cour run, JPress will get the novels and my preferred studio is J.C. Staff.

Sequel, it wouldn't make sense to remake what was essentially just cherry picked stories from the first few volumes.
One cour probably, that it got funded at all for a TV anime is probably a minor miracle, if it's 2 cour I would prepare for budget stretching.
I don't know, but if anyone picks it up they probably won't do a worse job than the fan translator.
