How do I enroll?

They had better teach a new generation of mecha animators.

This, that'd be literally saving anime

Anyone notice Sunrise stopped making good anime like Mai-HiMe and Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo? They make stupid shit like Gundam and Valvrave now

>good anime like Mai-HiMe
No.

I hope so, they're the one of the few that still regularly make 2D mecha.

But I keep hearing about how the job market is oversaturated and most animators barely make enough to survive. How exactly is this a good investment? Is the animators live in poverty thing just a meme?

Yea man, spending 12 hours everyday drawing Gundam and Love Live sure sounds like fun.

>school instructors are Love Live animators
>no mecha animators teaching at the school

RIP mecha animation

some of the old animators are still there and probably would want to find new talent when the schools open up next year.

>PA starts paying their people like human beans
>sunrise makes animators schools
Took them enough time to start copying the kyoani.

The school is gonna have new animators doing new stuff creative wise.

PA Works is starting an animation school too.

There will be a comeback.

They are gonna fucking need it

I haven't heard of Sunrise in ages. Are they still pretty prolific, or do they just make Gundam now?

Is that Twilight Axis
What the hell

They've been stretching themselves too thin recently. Besides Thunderbolt, they're also working on Twilight Axis, the Origin movies, maybe another BF OVA, and a 10 year 00 Anniversary special.

It's pretty weird that a studio like Sunrise didn't already have an animation school.

They make Love Live my friend

You realise KyoAni didn't event the concept of having an animation school right?

That's the latest Thunderbolt episode.

Jesus, Kshatriya is so sexy. Best suit in Gundam.

Again, what the hell

Today they teach mecha. Tomorrow they will teach gunpla battles

I heard they're making new original anime and more sequels on Mai Hime,Code Geass and others.

April 2018 is literally perfect for me. My Japanese really isn't good enough to read this article, can someone who can read Japanese tell me when if the article states when does the registration start and how much will it cost?

Thank you based Sunrise

They need to make a kickstarter for funds
Sunrise can save 2D Mecha animation

>They had better teach a new generation of idol animators.

fixed

>My Japanese really isn't good enough to read this article
I don't think they're going to let you in if you can't communicate in Japanese.

KyoAni should do that.

youtube.com/watch?v=fzbZvNOQT34

I can communicate in Japanese, and I hope to become even better by then but I don't know a lot of kanji

>They make Mai Hime my friend
Fixed

Why hasn't KyoAni done an idol anime?

>外国籍の場合は日常会話レベル以上の日本語が話せることが必須となる。
In any event it looks like you've gotta be 18-25 to apply and they're only going to accept 10 or so people.

This Mai-HiME sequel meme makes me sad. It's been ten years, man. Quit getting my hopes up.

Looking at their website, it seems like you need to submit an application by July 25th.

If you think you can make it, then godspeed, user.

Because it'd be a huge risk, especially since it'd be competing with Love Live.

It actually says they are reopening the school which they first ran from 2005 to 2011. It also says they are paying them 100,000 yen a month to learn.

Good.
More Mecha/original and idol shows for everyone.

You train your own future employees rather than pick randoms you know nothing about.
It's a common practice for big companies.

Dumb youposter.

In a better world that Jegan pilot would have won

>Quit getting my hopes up
It's been long but we're not giving up my friend. The promise land will come to us.

>LoveLive and Maifags tearing each other throats

Sad.
