So I don't post much and didn't know I wasn't going to be able to respond anymore in my original thread.
Most of the responses were ad-hominems and didn't dispute anything I said or retort against it. I suppose that's the be expected.
For those few who took the time ro respond seriously, or who appreciated my post, thank you.
To address a few of the points made to me:
I never watched a movie about the alt-right being a cult. I said I've seen a lot of documentaries and fictionalized movies and TV shows about cults and have a fascination with them. I think I would be less susceptible to cults than most because of this.
I'm also in a position where I do nothing all day but sit on the internet and observe. I don't participate. I don't really take sides in politics. To me it's like watching a football game to kill the time.
Lastly, I just visited my parents, watched Bill Maher and Conan with them, pet my dog and cat, and ate salmon and pasta.
