What's the most amount of times you rewatched the same anime?

What's the most amount of times you rewatched the same anime?

I've watched Koe no Katachi like 4 times already.

I've re-watched Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei to completion 10 times.

kaiji s1 and 2 about 3 times

I've rewatched the first Lupin III anime at least three or four times.

Probably Ran-Sem, about 200 times

I don't really rewatch entire anime. I just rewatch the best parts over and over again.

I've watched Ghost Storeis countless times, both the original audio and the dub are comfy as fuck.

but did you read it

I think the only anime I ever rewatched was Death Note.

i've watched toradora twice a year since it came out

close to 60 times now. Welcome to the NHK too. I don't even really like it, but it reminds me of when I first watched it. I was a neet but things were still better than they are now, and I guess I just want to go back.

This is a problem.

FLCL

Came in here to post this, a couple dozen times.

are you me

The first YKK OVA, I would give anything for a full adaptation in that style. The second one didn't compare.

This for me, only three times though. I don't rewatch anything much.
But this show keeps getting better each time I rewatch it. There's so much there to appreciate.

In entirety for sure, probably TTGL since I watched it with several friends on different occasions.

Unintentionally probably DBZ from re-runs. I've probably seen every episode at least 10 times just from countless years of TV as a kid.

Up to 11 on Evangelion so far. Been showing it to friends and just re watching every now and then.

I've watched both Azumanga Daioh and Lucky Star at least 10 times each. Probably more like 20.

My dick can't get enough

Probably watched Berserk 1997 four or five times getting other people into it.

Nearly every one of them was genuinely upset with me after the Eclipse.

I think I've seen Daily lives of highschool boys like 8 times

Flip Flappers, I've at least watched it 5 times in its entirety, and that's not counting the individual episodes I've rewatched on their own, or just digging through certain scenes over and over again.

>Ghost Stories
Just watch the dub dub watcher.

I think I've watched EoE 11 times.

Attack on Titan I don't even know how many fucking times. I'd pretty much watch an episode every time I went on the bus in high school.

Gurren Lagann is a close second.

I have an unhealthy obsession with School Rumble. Watched it every year, been going on for 4 yrs.

Afro samurai since it was on spike a lot.

23 times.

I rewatch School Rumble every now and then. Probably have seen it 6 times already, or more

still laughstill wish my school life had been fun like theirs

I watch FLCL every year

Didn't see your post before, I'm basically the same

this

I've seen Nichijou at least 50 times, and Ping Pong at least 20.

I've been wanting to watch the OVA for more than a year, but I don't want to watch it before finishing the manga and, I don't know, but YKK is something that requires a certain mood. I can't storm through it

Don't think I've rewatched the whole thing, but I keep going back to favorite clips. Like literary girl and the Dragon Quest reenactments.

NGE at least 10 times, Vandread 6 times and Hellsing Ultimate 6 times too

12.
I just can't get enough of Watashi and Akashi-san.

I like you

make a pilgrimage through dbz every 2 years
rurouni kenshin every 2 years
yu yu hakasho every year bebop every 2 years
death note every 3
code geass every 3
and everything else I'll wait at least a year after it finishes airing then rewatch it if I liked it

i watched berserk at least 6 times

higurashi 4 times

accel world about 3 times.

All of Haruhi in chronological order. Including all of endless eight at least 10 times. I've watched the dub so much I was able to read the novel in Crispin Freemans voice

I've watched the three Mobile Suit Gundam movies more times than I can count. Probably in the area of 15 times? Super good. I love MSG, but it's way better with the Super Robo taken out.

Madoka, currently on 5

As long as you've read the corresponding chapters it doesn't matter. Even then, it stands alone

Tenchi OVA at least once per year since I bought the Pioneer DVD set the week it came out. Remember when people were charging $700 for it on ebay? Good times.

K-on is getting up there too, maybe 8 times?

watamote, 6 times, they balanced drama and comedy realy well, never seen something close to that again.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann 5 times
FLCL like 8
Gunbuster at least 6
Diebuster 2
End of Evangelion 5 times
I can't help being a gainaxfag

The only anime I rewatch is Keion. Watch a season every month since the movie came out.
I actually lost count of how many times I rewatched it.

Same.

Hunter x Hunter 2011 3 times already

Gainax is top-tier taste, don't let nu-Sup Forums convince you otherwise.

FLCL seems to be the most commonly "most rewatched" anime in these threads though. Feels good as my favourite anime.

I rewatched FMA: Brotherhood about 10 times.
Best piece of Japanese Animation ever conceived.

I've watched those movies more than I've watched anything else.
I've tried multiple times to get through Zeta and I never do.

I have watched Haruhi season one 23 times

dokuro chan, less than ten times

Does One Piece count since most of each episode is just recap?

Db + dbz
Yuyu hakusho
Ranma
Hxh 2011

About 4 times each. It was shown yearly everyday when I was a growing up.

monogatari 10+

Holy fuck, are you me? Why is Japan so fucking dumb bro, like is there some way we can convince them to make it happen? That was the most perfect hour of anime I've ever seen.

For me, it's the masterpiece Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honneamise. Amazing art design and the most detailed world created in an anime. Every scene is genius and I notice something new each time I watch it. The only non-cancerous anime made by Gainax. Letting Anno direct was a mistake.

>Gainax is top-tier taste
>This is what plebs and dumb people actually believe.

>Wings of Honneamise
Literally the greatest anime film of all time. A truly beautiful and ambitious film, tastefully done and with a good message.

>Gunbuster
>Nadia
>Evangelion
>FLCL
>Gurren Lagann
All bullshit that panders to waifufags with no standards.

What happened?

10+ school rumble. I think that's my most rewatched anime.

>The only non-cancerous anime made by Gainax
I disagree with you but at the same time you seem to have good taste

I rewatched Evangelion somewhere between 20 and 30 times, closer to 30.

I've watched Evangelion (TV) upwards of 10 times, Full Metal Panic 4 times, and much of the Gundam series several times.

Azumanga and dokuro chan like 3 times.
DBZ is a good contender but it was an on and off thing over the years with various versions.

I think I rewatched TTGL like 3 times. Years apart though, it's hard for me to rewatch stuff since it doesn't keep my interest as much.

I've watched Lain probably 25 times
Other than that, I rewatch FLCL every year, I expect it to beat out lain by 2035

I've reread Berserk like 5 times now just between hiatuses.
And probably DBZ since they still show it on tv here, every year since 2005.

five way tie between Yu Yu Hakusho, Cowboy Bebop, Non Non Biyori, Non Non Biyori Repeat, and G Gundam with 10 rewatches

I think my highest watched are all at 3 which would be a couple like Death Note and Steins;Gate which I've watched once or twice on my own and then also watched again with other people.

However if you include reading I think Death Note would be 5 and GTO would be 7. A bunch of other series at 3-4.

Reddit

One more for EoE

1k views minimum for the full version
Even more for just 3rd impact scenes

I've probably seen the full Yu Yu Hakusho run 5 times in my life, certain episodes / archs more just from watching it on Toonami back then. I was just thinking recently if I ever did get around to rewatching it again, I'd probably try the Japanese version since I've seen many times people say the tone is a lot different. I really do think they did a good job with the english dub though for what it's worth

Evangelion like 10 times or more

Read the manga with the anime OST.

I've watched Kuroko for three times.

But I'm pretty sure I've seen every Moomin episode for more than that in my live, so Tanoshii Moomin Ikka for X times.

Code Geass

stopped counting at 46

I rewatched naruto 7 times because It was the only anime on my hard drive and I didn't have internet. On 8th time friend lend me FMA with dub which I rewatched 5 times. Those were dark times.

Watched Evangelion like 30 times so I guess that, I watch Oreimo annually so maybe in 20 years it will surpass Evangelion too.

I've watched Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita 5 times

Watched it a bunch of times as well.

Sword of the Stranger, at least a dozen times.

>Which anime have you seen most?
FTFY
How about you try learning to write english before you make threads?

lol

Barakamon twice. Planning on rewatching DtB again

One Piece
3 times

Same. It helps that it's short, so I can just binge it and it's about the length of a movie

>1k views minimum
Jesus fucking christ I thought I was bad watching it like 6 times

Guess I better watch it a few more now

Tell them to read the manga

I watched Mononoke-hime about 300 times. Nakazawa's Kigeki short like 200+ times. Oshii's Tenshi no tamago more than 100 times. If you want TV series then Lain more than 20 times.

>make a pilgrimage through dbz every 2 years

Mybasketballamerican.

Forgot about the first Gekijouban Digimon Adventure by Hosoda. Watched that more than 100 times as well.

Last Exile and Evangelion(EoE and Rebuilds included) close to 20 times each

Angel Beats, rewatched once. Couldn't remember whether I enjoyed it or not.

I hate rewatching things. I feel it is a waste of the little time i have on earth, better watch something new. Even my favorite shows I don't rewatch. The only times when it happens is when i show someone something I love, then i often watch it with them.

I have the opposite problem. I find it difficult to try something new. I stick to what I know because I know that I enjoyed it. I'm not saying I don't watch anything new, otherwise I wouldn't discover new gems to rewatch. And I've also not gone too overboard with re-viewings. I think I've watched season 1 of psychopass 5 times, the 4 last times were with people I introduced it to. The next closest to that would probably be the 3 or 4 times I've watched Pokemon season 1.
>t. nostalgic lad who can't move on from the innocence of his pre-9/11 youth

I don't get this mentality. At least two times is necessary for something like a movie. The first time is to ride the waves of the emotion with the shock value and everything. After that, you can actually start to watch it and understand how it was put together. Everytime I watch Spirited Away my eyes get glassy at a different point when I get a glimpse at the greater construction. You need earlier familiarity to be able to assess it.

Of course that's not really the case for full TV shows since they usually can't or don't try to exercise the same kind of command over what they're presenting outside of individual episodes. I'll go back and rewatch random episodes of stuff like Aria or Hidamari Sketch for the atmosphere but not in a focused order

This so much. Even for anime episodes I can't help but watch most at least twice. It can get really out of hand with some original shows.
