Land is the Purest Form of Wealth - Prove me wrong

Land ownership is what separates the serfs from the citizens. Owning it outright bestows real power and authority, giving the citizen his own domain over a piece of the earth. I posit that all power stems from ownership of land.

Property taxes are no fun, that's true. The government also can't seize the land through eminent domain without paying a good sum for it.

Land "ownership" is the perfect encapsulation of the madness of capitalism. Something not created by the hands of any man, acquired by force, incessantly destroyed, which every living thing requires for freedom to live a normal life, but is restricted to the few.

Stay jelly commie.

Gomunism is the definition of failure. Baiter

Stay wrong, retard. There is literally no defense for capitalism. And even less defense of capitalism's concept of land "ownership". You don't own it. It's a shared fantasy you decided on.

Land ownership is only as valid as your ability to enforce that ownership.

And very soon, the capacity for landowner shitheads to defend their land will utterly implode. Even now, rural landowners have to contend with white trash who either camp out homeless on their land or hunt or litter or otherwise destroy their land without their permission. That's going to keep getting worse as humans fail to curb their population growth. And since every living thing requires room to live, and capitalism is both obsessed with infinite population growth, as well as restricting land access, it can only lead from unrest and unruly behavior to outright war.

But we've seen that communism is basically impossible without a tyrannical and inevitably corrupt central power.

>council re-zones land
>million dollar land now worthless

The purest form of wealth is owning a politician. That way you can create wealth out of nothing, or destroy it.

That's literally not communism. Communism isn't hierarchical.

You never really own land, you can look after it for your lifespan, hand it down.

You can't dig it up & take it somewhere else.

Can't prove objective truth wrong, you win

Life is made to take, not give back. We're all parasites to the universe, just accept it. Pic related

That's why widespread firearm ownership and easy access to them is so critical to maintaining the system.

Also, I'm not advocating for communism anyway. I can't believe we are still having to put up with this "If you're not capitalist, then you're a commie!" bullshit in fucking 2017.

Exactly. The only defense of capitalism are one of the following two:

- Might makes right - in which case, prepare your anus, because you're next
- We have a system that is more peaceful which prioritizes a minority over everyone else. Now eat shit and work for me while I take a nap and make a million dollars.

Neither of these is going to last and the huge cracks are everywhere already.

Do you have a solution, or are you just mad that there isn't one? There is a cost to living, which gets externalized, which has consequences -- typically for the environment. Maybe we'll figure out how to minimize it the way life minimizes entropy. But it will never go away entirely because it cannot

Of the method we've experimented with, the bastardized version of capitalism that has been utterly dominant for its entire history is the closest we've come

The government could seize your land tomorrow and you wouldn't be able to do shit about it. You don't really "own" anything, not even your body--call one of those suicide "help" hotlines, the cops roll up and you get handcuffed at gunpoint and dragged off to the loony bin for reprogramming so you can keep paying taxes. If you don't even own your own body, do you seriously believe you own clay in this country?

Are you LARPing being a European landowner? This isn't the middle ages. You can have next to no property and be supremely powerful. Dumbshit.

Harsh truths. We all exist at the pleasure of those stronger than us.

The key is to create a system that aligns the interests of the individual with the interests of the collective. Capitalism, while certainly not a recipe for utopia, has done this better than any other system in history.

That being said, i haven't really done my own research into fascism (or more specifically, NatSoc). Maybe that'd work better, but more info needed. I mean, it wasn't allowed to exist for more than 20 years, so maybe we're due for another version of the experiment

The solution is human extinction and it's coming sooner or later, wanted or not. It will either happen voluntarily (best option, but won't happen) or it will happen against your will, which will be very ugly. But it will happen. And relatively soon. The human species is far too evil to be permitted to continue to exist.

Hierarchy is inevitable. All social animals use hierarchy for a good reason. Decisions group-wide need to be made and the distribution of information takes too long. Specialization also means that decision makers would be more effective the more decisions they make.

Live by the concept of land "ownership", die by it.

>Hierarchy is inevitable
That is irrelevant to the question of what defines communism.

>That is irrelevant to the question of what defines communism.
hierarchy defines all systems of governance and economy. Who gets what and who does what often define a hierarchy.

>Land
>Wealth
Quite the opposite in our current system. Land COSTS money every year. If you own 800k worth of acreage (about 8 acres in MA, or 0.75 acres near boston) then you owe the government $1,000 in rent (property tax) every month.

Lol.

Bageled

Fake and gay. Why are you breathing oxygen? Your just as bad as a capitalist by using a resource for your own benefit. Fucking air rapist.

And here we have it! The true, honest heart of postmodernist philpsophy! Anything pro-man is evil, anything anti-man is good!

You, user, are the enemy. I define YOU as evil, so long as those are your beliefs

Looks beautiful, Texas.

Ownership is the ability to hold on to something and keep it. None of it is acquired by force as hiring people is a mutual contract between the worker and the boss.

>And here we have it! The true, honest heart of postmodernist philpsophy!
You mean reality?

>Hahaha it's okay for us to genocide natives because they didn't believe in land ownership (they were right)
>That means Indians were post-modernist!

By force. Expect force in kind very soon.

Not this faggot again.

>tfw no property tax in my municipality

>Expect force in kind very soon
Yet again the "tolerant" left shows it's self to not be as tolerant as they state they are.

It is and land is dirt cheap too.

The only reason to buy land is for your children. In my country, you have to pay 40% inheritance tax (above a certain limit), which means that your children will have to sell all of your land in order to pay a large tax bill when you die.

We are all serfs and not ever truly allowed to own anything.

The UK is a shithole. Tell us something we didn't know.

Our planet belongs to everyone. The idea that land can be "owned" is capitalist degeneracy.

And capitalism is not? Lmao

Imagine being this communist.

I find a stick.
I carve the stick.
Bob finds an apple.
He wants my stick.
I want his apple.
We trade.

In commie-land you have a problem with that - that really just makes you insane.

Of course it's not. When something is the definition of freedom it's not going to have any tyrannical rulers.
Old US is an example of this.

I actually agree with the "commies" here. I am generally pro-private property but when it comes to land, nah. Maybe the land around your house okay. But owning vast swathes of land on this planet. You can't deny other humans that, you didn't make the earth, God did and by owning land you are saying you are superior to God

Capitalism is, by definition, an oppressive system.

Capitalism has the tendency of creating a power-gap among people. Those who have more than others have the capacity to exert force over others - thus you have an oppressive system at an institutional level. Most people only have their own labor to sell. They have no other resources than that. A good capitalist will pay you less than your labor is worth in order to generate profit. That's exploitation. That's hierarchy.

It's only valuable if there's a state that ensures you the exclusive ownership.

I love being a land lord. I'm also a military veteran. Have fun you nigger loving faggot.

I doubt you go to the gym, fired a weapon, or have the courage and full to do the violence required for your faith/envy based morality.

Stay poor and weak. Because at the end of the day, bernouts like you get on your knees and beg people like me to 'steal dat', 'gibs me dat'.

The very ideal of egalitarianism is contrary to the martial life style and culture.

they have all the bases covered. mineral rights.

Capitalism by definition is the people having control of the economic system. Government controlling (even partially controlling) the economic system is socialism. Corporations controlling the economic system is fascism, which can only be granted by state power. Capitalism is the way to go, leaf.

all you can really do is tend there land for them till you give it back.

You dont own land you borrow it from the government for a fee. They can take it back at anytime for their own gain.

Jesus, you're so indoctrinated.

Life genocides life. It's inherently cannibalistic. That doesn't make any particular form of life evil. The only basis from which you can create a standard for good and evil is pro-life (good, if you're sane) or anti-life (bad, again, if you're sane). You say human extinction is the inevitable solution to, idk, messing up the planet i suppose. Well I've got news for you: earth *WILL* become mars one day. Life will find this planet utterly inhospitable eventually. Now tell me, what's better for life: oblivion or saturation? And because staying on this planet guarantees oblivion, what other form of life on earth has any chance whatsoever of bringing life off of it to other planets?

Humanity is SUPPOSED to use this planet up until it is a worthless husk of what it once was. If you want to kill yourself because you've been convinced that's evil, please take your own advice and do it sooner rather than later.

this man is woke

Government isn't the problem, it's the solution to capitalism.

The USA is one of the few nations that allow private ownership of mineral rights. Land ownership includes timber, natural gas, oil, mineral, if a previous owner didn't sell those rights off to someone else.

Lol. More disproven labour theory. Ether way, hierarchy and martial prowess go hand and hand. To recognize strength is to recognize the world is unequal.

Why?

False. Pure capitalism is pure freedom.
The power gap you talk of is a on to many dynamic. Let's assume you had a contract with many people. You can talk them what to do and they're going to accept it for equivalent pay to the scale of their work. You having control of many people gives you a sense of power.
If this good capitalist were to pay you less than what your labour is worth then why don't you work for yourself?
