To be fair I can see how they would get it wrong.
Many banks hold actual money even if most money transfers are digital.
Really if they are smart, they would take off with either the user passcodes and card numbers, or atleast the hardware.

This really is the scariest part about digital currencies. If someone found out you had a lot of money and wanted to steal some of it, they'd have to take you for ransom or make you go to an ATM and withdrawal the limit. With Bitcoin/Crypto, all someone has to do is come to your house, torture you until you tell them your username and password, and they make off with everything. Completely untraceable. Would be much more difficult to get to your money if it was in a bank, where they would just reverse the transaction or what have you.
