Yes, that's why I'm pirating anime and buying figs, unlike you retards giving money to crunchy or funi that doesn't do shit to the industry.

Because I would need to be a millionaire to pay properly for all the media I consume, doesn't mean I don't buy at all though, far from it.

Pirating doesn't do anything

Let them give money to CR and Funi. At least we will have something to pirate. I don't want to go back to fansubbing days. They at least have no more drama now that they are all on CR's payroll.

I buy all the loli porn comics I can.

>I like your book, it touched me, I bought it and loved it
>Hey man i liked your movie i watched it in the cinema and on Netflix now and again
>I love you, you're my favourite seiyuu and I love all the characters you voice i don't buy your stuff though instead i torrent it. I-I buy figures though.. Even though you don't voice them but imagine you do.

Online shopping is shit on a 3rdworld shit hole. Famous online shops aren't shipping on my shithole.

If you don't know shit about the industry, you better not talk.

>implying the money you give to crunchy goes to creator or seiyuu
Must be nice being so naive.

>paying
>to watch anime

>I do x legally therefore i am entitled to do x illegally.
No
Also, I never said anything about crunchyroll

I'm poor, you fucking asshole,

I used to pirate, but then nyaa died so now I buy all my anime.

Buy whatever you want, spend your money on however you want.
The ones who ultimately get all the money are the big megacorps in Japan, not the small slaves working for them.
Doesn't fucking matter if you import figurines from Japan directly or pay your local streaming service or fly to Japan and attend one of those live events.
You support the MAN at the top.
The MAN is the winner.

>he doesn't know how to get anime outside of nyaa

Woah, it's the fabled target all anti-piracy laws are based around.

The only money I spend is from all the HDDs I buy to store all my downloaded anime.

>why do you pirate
Because i can? Anime isnt only thing i pirate

not being sarcastic here, but can anybody help explaining how not pirating is a support for our waifu and fav anime/manga?

video related(?)
youtube.com/watch?v=MH38DM03KK8
youtube.com/watch?v=oBQqjNf3LwA

Because I like to rewind and screenshot a lot and it's easier to do on my video player than any streaming site. Also I'm fucking poor.

I'm poor.

>Don't mind me, I'm just stealing some anime.

Downloading something doesn't mean someone would pay for it. 90% of what I watch is shit anyways.

For the bst experience, I wanna use my customised player, codecs, renderer, interpolator, etc. For which I need offline access to the video file. Which current seasonal legal services don't provide.

Cause the pirate is free.

Buying third party merch does almost nothing to support the creators. Almost all of your money goes to GSC or whoever and a couple pennies per unit for their way into a licensing fee.

正規の人間で無いからだろ、PKOでも海外の派遣部隊と現地スタッフは一緒に銃を持って戦っても立場が違う、イラクのアメリカ軍が雇った現地通訳スタッフみたいなモノ、国に帰ったらさようなら

>Don't you wanna support your waifu and your favourite anime/manga?
No.

Anime isn't worth money.

>all those filthy entitled poorfags in this itt thread
Top fucking kak. Just stop breathing, you disgusting imbeciles.

stay ass mad my newfriend

>when a kike calls someone else filthy

If your English is that bad, you may as well shitpost in your native language

You should head to Sup Forums or /g /.

>what is production committee
Here's a tip: most studio (unless they are KyoAni) are contracted and funded regardless if the product does well.
And yes, buying merchs funds the guys who actually funds the shows.

I'm poor but happy.

>And yes, buying merchs funds the guys who actually funds the shows.
wow this totally convinced me to support the animators by buying blu rays and dvds!

I like x anime so much and like x girl.
I buy and support this series and with it buy x girl figures and buy x stuff related.
I enjoy the anime and what I do shows that i like their work.
Vs
I like x anime so much and like x girl.
I don't support them however.
I enjoy the anime and what I do doesn't show i like their work.

Because if i not pirate, all my anime/mangas since the start =
14.000€ Animes.
70.000€ Mangas

>you can only like something if you consume consume consume consume
every time

Because you can't download rum.

1.67€ / episode
7€ / manga

You could make moonshine. That's kinda like pirating alcohol.

>you can't pirate and buy figurines to show support
?
Why are you faggots so autistic?

One day, we'll have sufficiently advanced augmented reality, where sex waifus will have tactile sex with us the way we want and whenever we want.
All the benefits of masturbating and copulation without having to interact with any real living being.

It's called a recipe.

I wonder who's behind this post?

I want to pirate the figurines and sell them for cheap on the markets of Mogadishu, but I doubt that there's enough cargo ships full with animu figurines shipping around to make it worthwhile to hire nigger pirates with guns and become lord of the seven seas.

If you're not aware, buying those actually support the animators as much as someone buying a merch.
To say otherwise is like saying purchasing an apple product supports the foxconn workers in some way or another.

Different is, if you buy a merch, you'll actually get a physical product worth a value while buying the discs gets you a piece of plastic, and maybe some cover box.

>what is investment
>what is IP ownership
You have to go back.

>IP ownership
hello goldstein

>I really like your work, i enjoy all your work illegally and you won't get a cent from me.
>Don't worry i still like it just as much as the people who show their love for your work so much they bothered to work to pay and support your company and through that you.
>You should love me as much as them.

No

$80 is a lot of money for a single Blu-Ray consisting of 2-3 episodes.
If it guaranteed an S2, hell yeah I'd buy, but most anime is garbage I could live without watching in the first place and the stuff that (mostly) deserves a second season was never destined to get one because it was relegated to being an advertisement from the outset.

I only buy manga and some light novels I like enough to buy, don't care if it "helps sustain the industry.", in the west like a lot of retards claim I'm just glad I got some niche titles in English I wouldn't expect a decade ago. We're living in marvelous times.

>Sup Forumsniggers can't type properly

>You should love me as much as them.
Who are you quoting retard?

Just try netflix, crunchyroll etc.
Through licensing they get some money at the very least.

>>You should love me as much as them.
>projecting this hard
This is some cringy ass shit.

>reddit projects this hard and is this mad that people don't spend thousands on anime yearly when they can watch shit for free
literally lol

I am not giving a shit about the animators.
All I want is more episodes of a show that I like.

I am willing to invest some amount of money into the show as long as the content is enjoyable enough. If it's not, I will give no shit about it anymore.

>streaming compressed anime when you can download the highest quality
what the fuck are you people retarded?

so they shouldn't love you and see you for the scum you are.
Glad to know

I do have some x anime and x girl that I like, and I buy their figurines and nendos from time to time (also gacha, coz I simply love gacha, while I assume it should have much less impact compared to other form of figurines). However as a seasonal anime viewer, I pirate to watch them coz of the same reason here , yet the anime industry is going to keep producing new stuffs by new artists, and the series that I liked already ended. Tell me, why shouldn't I pirate until I find my next wow-this-anime-got-best-girl-gonna-buy-the-figures?

Don't waste your hard-earned money on value less non-physical goods.
Go buyfag once a year and spend $200 on a merch or something from a show you truly appreciates.

>so they shouldn't love you and see you for the scum you are.
Why do you think I give a shit about what nips drawing anime think about me? Why are you so obsessed with what other people think of you holy shit

>fuck capitalism I'm entitled to free expensive shit for no reason.

Why should I pay for it when I can get it for free and easier? All the episodes are automatically downloaded for me in better quality than streaming.

>I'm entitled to free shit
huh? I just pirate it? It's not like I'd go demanding free shit from studios if I was suddenly unable to pirate shit. why can't you faggots make an argument without making baseless assumptions about how people act?

>I should accept the shittiest possible service and be thankful for it

See Don't waste your money on intangible goods.
At least with merchs, you could actually sell those things when you needed the cash.

Jesus Christ, no one gives a shit what those people thinks about me.
Why are you even expecting that they'll like you if you just spend some shit on their stuffs.

I'm too cool and badass to pay for things. It's tough being this awesome but I'll manage somehow.

Never said anything about animators, it's everybody who worked on it.
Seiyuus, writers and so on.
I like x so i buy x to show that i like it.
I don't act like a nigger and steal it's simple really.

I buy figures and do have a netflix subscription; watched BLAME last night as a matter of fact.
I'd like to do more but really there's no point when, again, most shows are adverts the production committee had already washed their hands of at the time of airing (Konosuba sold like gangbusters, and even then they only begrudgingly gave it a cheap-ass 10 episode S2 instead of the full-adaptation it deserved).
Moreover I really liked Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku, bought tons of merch, bought the BDs, got a re-airing; amounted to fucking nothing, no S2.

>Waste money on something you won't know the quality of until you've experienced the whole thing
Who the fuck actually does this? Are you fucking terrible with your money or something?

no, you are mori summer sama

Because I'm a britbong and i can't get it anywhere else.

Good for you- I can only not pay for valueless things like thoughts.

Yeah I'd rather not be obsessed with paying people to give me the misconception that people who live in a completely different country somehow give a shit about me

>still giving a shit about random people thinks about you
I really hope you're not an adult.

>I don't act like a nigger
>buying intangible goods
>2017
Well, you spend like a nigger.

I feel I should emphasize that stories are compilations of thoughts.

Have you guys talked about this yet?
animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-06-03/funimation-subpoenas-cloud-hosting-platform-over-copyright-infringement-of-one-piece-anime/.116979

Also you guys might find this interesting.

I support the Anime of my Waifu but why should I care about all the other sluts out there?

Because you're waifu lives in a socialist state and wants you to support all her sisters.

>Funimation previously filed a copyright infringement complaint against 1,337 "John Does" for using BitTorrent to share a One Piece episode in 2011.

Oh man, I forgot all about that. What a load of shit.

Japan Anime Studios are bad at marketing their products.
They do little effort to broad their audience and instead keep focusing in the same saturated market.
They dont even try to translate their own animes to english and kickstart their own streaming service, instead they prefer to broadcast it on TV with horrible schedules.

Instead they waste a lot of effort trying to curb piracy the same happens with manga.

>intangible goods aren't real so I don't need to pay for it
>2017
Wow really going all out for this.
If something has value and you want it and it's not yours you give something of equal value, its basic capitalism.
If all electronics were deemed free as you said we wouldn't have a market and nothing really would thrive other than hobby work, really shit hobby work.
Also your argument falls flat since it's 2017 given how things work with intagible material now.

>buying advertisements

>guise, pirating is bad
>I buy figs and merch though
>n-no, buy a CR subscription instead!
Why isn't this thread deleted yet?

Because I'm not paying $400 USD for a blu ray set for a single fucking season. I mean at that price it better come with a fucking blowjob and back massage.

One right doesn't fix a wrong.

Trying to defeat piracy is like bashing your head against a brick wall. There is no stopping it, people will always find a way around it.

Now, making a better platform that attracts people to give up piracy works, just dont make it substandard like current streaming services. Just recently CR dropped their stream bitrate which pissed off its paying customers.

Tell your boss to offer better services if CR wants my money.

Exactly.

And shitshows like Funimation and Crunchyroll are the cancer of the western anime "industry.". You remember the crap Funi did with Prison School and le ebin "You're one of those gamergaters aren't you" BS, and CR's staff supporting AniFem, a SJW anime blog. If I wanted SJW bullshit in my anime, I'd take a SPAS-12 to my figurine collection, eat it, and shit it out, and mail it to Patricia Hernandez at Kotaku.

But, I don't own the anime when I buy it- the people who sold it to me do because they're afraid I'll show it to my friends without paying again.

>when anti pirate can't understand basic economics and won't give people an actual incentive to spend their money
lmao

>you give something of equal value, its basic capitalism
I don't think you know what capitalism is.
The merchant on the other side of the street don't get wealthy because he's trading goods on equal value at all times.
Value are dynamic and perceived, not examined, thus subjective.

No one's claiming that intangible goods are not real.
It's just a really poor way to spend your money on as you'll get something that is essentially worthless outside of your own personal use.
Go ahead if you want to spend like a nigger, I'm not stopping you.

Please, don't eat guns- they'll give you several kinds of poisonings.

>useful idiot moralfags
Companies fucking expect you to pirate, it's like your free trial. My professors openly advocated for all of the students to pirate Photoshop, modeling and programming software, etc. How the fuck are you supposed to learn if you have to pay thousands of dollars before you can get started?

Same shit here. You watch it for free, and if you like it you can go ahead and pay whatever ridiculous price they are asking for you to own it.

>AniFem, a SJW anime blog
I'm somewhat curious what this would be like but at the same time dont wish cancer upon myself
