Why nobody ever talks about this...

Why nobody ever talks about this? One of the most mature and thoughful works about teen period that i have ever seen in anime

Because it was fucking garbage.

this

If you only capable of consuming your typical misunderstandings moeshit, maybe
Because it treats and shows characters as actual human beings and not some idealized entities

>Y-you just hate it because you like moeshit
Every time

>it's shit because i said so
Every time.
Elaborate on your fucking opinion then

>mature and thoughful works about teen period
Who's the target audience for this? Mature teens?

I really liked it, but movies don't lend themselves to continued discussion.

>*about*
By your logic lolicon doujins intended for underage children?

How about the fact that it's as surface level as humanly possible. You can see the whole 'Everyone isn't monochrome, they're all colorful' thing coming from the first few scenes. The most depth you get out of the characters is that the main love interest fucks old men for money. The shy girl is annoying and forgettable. The MC has a predictable character arc. Everyone else is nothing. Don't even try to pretend the huge historical landmark advertisement in the middle was anything but obnoxious. If you've digested a reasonable amount of television and film, there's nothing original to be found in Colorful.

No, you faggot. The point is why would anyone be looking at teen drama if they want something, as OP put it, mature and thoughtful?

>surface level as humanly possible
Is something currently cherished by Sup Forums like Koe no Kotachi with it's black and white morals and suffering porn
>the main love interest fucks old men for money
the point was why exactly she done that, how she accepts who she is and moves on, freeing herself from the idea she's "broken" and opening up to others, which is important in the context of japanese society. Acceptance part is crucial
>Don't even try to pretend the huge historical landmark advertisement in the middle was anything but obnoxious
It wasn't. The tram section could be anything, that's the fucking point.
>everyone else is nothing
Oh sure, his family is nonexistent
>If you've digested a reasonable amount of television and film, there's nothing original to be found in Colorful.
If you read the bible here's nothing original to be found in any type of media
Literally who
Because you can put mature thoughts in any form, retard

I didn't like it at all and thought it was shit when i watched it years ago, but truth is, it is so forgetable i cannot even tell you why i disliked it. I don't remember anything, only that at some point there is a prostitute.

Pretentious drivel. Just another one in the countless "ur a spechul snowflake xd" media.

>"ur a spechul snowflake xd
what
that's not an western show where's this theme is prominent

Learn English before posting here, fuck stain.

You don't have this argument available to you when you're praising another fucking series about high schoolers and their problems, it's been run into the ground by this point already.

Literally Koe no Kotachi done right.

Even ooga booga would be more than enough for you, fuckface

Because it was one of the most boring films I've ever seen in any medium. I couldn't stand the MC or the pointless filler, especially the retarded train watching. The ending was also garbage.

>"Sup Forums likes garbage, so why don't they like MY garbage?"

I knew how the film would end within the first 10 minutes, and yet the movie pretended that it was some big secret. None of the characters were very interesting. Forgot the names of all of them like 2 seconds after finishing the movie.
