What went right?

What went right?

Biggest influence on modern shonen to date. Don't have to act like it's the best, but gotta show some respect. Almost everyone here at some point either liked the franchise or liked something it had a hand in creating. It established a standard that has been built upon ever since, so we owe it quite a lot.

Look at how important and confident Yamcha looks here. What the hell happened to the humans in the series.

DBZ episode 1 happened

This OP was made during the early Saiyan arc of the manga before it felt as if the humans would never get anything done. The power gap wasn't so ridiculous back then.

Roshi and Tien are still relevant, it's only a Yamcha problem.

After Frieza saga it all turned to garbage.

Genetics that only matter when mixed with a saiyans.

4 simple steps for success:
1. insert nyoibou fully into rectum
2. command it to extend
3. ???
4. profit

>What went right?
Not a single person in that image could turn Super Saiyan at the time.

Say what you want about Z fucking over the humans, but Yamcha was already losing every fight since the first tournament. His only win is against the Invisible man and that was only because of Krillin and Bulma's tits.

>Buu arc which is the best in the series
>Grabage

he did knock out Goku for a bit when they first met though

my nigga

Didn't he get right back up and punch yamcha fucking teeth out

>yamcha cockily asks to fight all of the saibamen with the thought of taking one for krillin if things went south
>quits fighting and is portrayed as a coward when frieza arrives

Like an entirely different person. They completely fucked over his character to make room for more saiyans.

Wait
Did Goku even have his nyoibou as an adult? I thought he used it to climb to Kamis lookout and then just kind of left it there.

He was a real man in the Android Saga

poor tien

after being a real donut

Dragon Ball was insufferable until Super.
