We need to talk about Fukushima... 2-3 months ago the Japanese government passed a set of laws that completely stifles free speech. Since then not a single non-govt news article has been released about Fukushima. Well the Japanese people are dying. They just aren’t aware of it. The radiation is making their immune systems weak and they’re getting the Flu in historically high numbers not to mention the highest number of flesh eating bacteria cases. The reason why japan is covering up the truth is because their olympics is coming up soon. But it’s already too late for Japan. The only ones to blame is the Japanese government for negligence and lying to its own people, keeping the truth hidden......

I don't think these articles have any correlation. The Asahi Shimbun is one of Japan's most respected publications, and the law has nothing to do with censorship of the truth. I don't believe that the law will even be that strictly enforced because Japanese aren't adamant with changing their ways of justice. I'm worried for Japan in 2020. Fukushima was really interesting because of the fact that they could just let the radiation disperse into the ocean with low cost to the environment and help the people, but instead they are forced by international law to store all the irradiated water in giant vessels and keep them on land allowing the land around it and people working there to be further irradiated.
