The game was better
Huh. Didn't even know it had a game. Does it focus on the story?
The playstation game is absolute bullshit and barely follows it. The one on Sega CD is unintentionally hilarious with transitions and art direction, but has some obnoxious mechanics. It's coherent enough though. Highly recommended.
Or could you have meant this one?
Ah, so you were talking about the Sega CD one. Reminds me of games like Snatcher, but more specifically, Policenauts. Doesn't seem to have any kind of gameplay elements though.
PEACE AND LOVE
MIDNIGHT FOG
Cobra's gynoid sidekick needed more screentime.
I'm pretty sure the manga delves into her backstory and actually gives her an arc if memory serves me right, but translation is nowhere near caught up.
It's more an 80's manga, but was there really any other competition back then?
Rock knight is the greatest anime/vidya character in existence
it mostly made its mark by being sci-fi action shounen when most the others back then were post-apoc or deliquent or fantasy
Been meaning to get around to watching this.
Where do I start?
This series gave me my first shota boners back then.
Good times.
Crusher Joe
It's the pinnacle of 70's OPs, that's for sure.
I remember watching this in an anime expo and I had a blast watching it. I need to look for subs ON THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes.
Neat
Fucking right it was.
CRYSTAL BOY-KUN!
I loved the fake parrot grass.
I like how he still holds on to his ice cream. If he gets into a shootout with those toads while eating it, there's no way this isn't the most badass character in anime ever.
It was the GOAT space adventure anime, but honestly I think Space Dandy takes the crown now. Not even joking.
>most badass character in anime ever.
He literally is.
Rock knight > All
>crusher joe
boy
>the most badass character in anime ever.
Golgo 13
Close, if he wasn't so damn stoic. Cobra has charm, while Golgo is the king of get-shit-done,no bs. Well, Cobra also gets shit done, mind you.
The real question is, why don't we have a poll on Sup Forums for best badasses?
What's everyone's favorite arc?
Mine has to be the rugball arc.
I liked the one where Cobra gets his old team back together for a heist.
Because Sup Forums is full of childs who have never even watched something from to decades ago.
So is the manga any good?
I watched it for god tier fillers
I'm sure plenty of people are aware of it at least peripherally between hilarious LP's of the games, the movies/ova's and him appearing in jump ultimate stars
it's not the most essential series anyways, and it's not like it's perfect despite me enjoying it
Oh right, have this in my backlog in ages.
Give me one good reason you haven't watched it.
1) It's old
2) There are much better and more importantly deeper shows
1) Illegitimate reason, age does not necessarily correlate with quality.
2)
>he thinks anime is deep
>hasn't watched the show
>"there's better and deeper series out there"
The manga's pretty great, but quite behind on TL (4 volumes so far).
I don't like the way it's drawn s'all
old shows < anime post 2010
Just read the synopsis
So why is it in your backlog if the art alone was enough to turn you away?
The beginning.
>The real question is, why don't we have a poll on Sup Forums for best badasses?
I'm pretty sure that happened and it was an awful mess.
>There are much better and more importantly deeper shows
Neck yourself.
This is cool.
The parrot plant or the game?
The original series hasn't been worked on in a while but Space Adventure Cobra: The Psychogun has been completed.
See you later, space cobra
The best thing about it is the MAD videos of Cobra in various show like Im@s or Kancolle.
Reading the synopsis of anything makes it seem shitty and kiddy pool deep
Oh, nice. What's the difference between it and Space Cobra? They're by the same author, no?
Same author yeah. It's completely colorized and covers some of the same arcs as the original. You can find it on goddess.
Oh, cool. So is it like a remake of the original series, or a reboot?
>goddess
Which site is that?
>2) There are much better and more importantly deeper shows
More like a spinoff. Goddess is madokami.
I noticed a decent amount of parody art with 2hu also.
It prompts login. Is there a way to get around it, or do I have to sign up?
I need more of Touhou x Space Cobra in my life.
Yeah you need to sign up. You'll have to google how to do that.
Is it worth it? As in, is it pretty much like any other aggregate sites like batoto, or does it have some super special exclusive/wide collection of manga?
If there was stuff from mangatraders you missed out on before it went kaput you'll find it there.
