What are the chances on actually having actually sex bots in the next decade, when we aren't even close to having bipedal robots that resemble humanoids in the next five years? Do you think AI would have advanced enough to the point where an AI assistant can be like JOI. I see people pushing for sexbots, but I feel like the tech isn't there for another three decades. Sure we can send people to the mars by 2030, but I highly doubt this type of tech would exist by then, and anyone that thinks this type of engineering is possible in the next decade is out right mad, and the closest would be like the doll in the "i feel fantastic" youtube video.

The demand for them will dry up as VR progresses, and more immersive "Full sensory simulation" systems come to market. Proof of concepts for various parts of that tech is already out and improving.
