literally anyone can learn how to make their own furniture from scratch in like a week

The evidence that medical care improves your health outside of major crises is pretty poor overal, and hospitals are obligated to stabalize crisis patients at no cost.

The question this argument begs is "Do Americans have the right to good health?" I know this is a bait thread but if anybody has an interesting take on this question I'd like to hear it.

> furniture: price known in advance
> doctor: good luck getting a quote on a procedure in advance.
They know you're in duress when you show up at their door.
Our sick-care system is really fucked.

> at no cost. kek
Their billing department will beg to differ.

hit the weights, diet, live clean, and you will see how your medical bills become none existent.

No. Your health is your own responsibility. Those of us who eat healthy and exercise regularly should not be forced to subsidize those who eat garbage and sit on their ass all day. Anyone with legitimate disability already gets healthcare so that is already taken care of.

I don't like benjamin "shlomo mortyberg" shapiro's ridiculously inhumane reasoning here. For the furniture store, denying someone the furniture doesn't mean they're going to die.

But at the same time, perhaps the medical treatment is non-life-threatening, and maybe that's what benjamin "bloody baby dick sucker" shapiro was referring to here.

Caring about what some Jews say ever. No thanks

fpbp/the only correct answer/check'd

It's not that they necessarily "have the right", but with how massive and bloated the Federal Government is it's baffling they can't at least guarantee a system where someone who legitmately needs the care but can't afford it won't go bankrupt. If you elimated paperwork redundancies and stemmed the flow of immigrants coming in and abusing the system healthcare could be somewhere around 33% cheaper.

The tl;Dr is why is the government, which has only grown since the post-WW2 boom, doing less for its citizens than the smaller government did for its citizens back then.

No, at least not when the vast majority of unhealthy Americans have only themselves to blame for their poor health. I will not pay higher taxes so that a 300 lb man gorging himself with no self control can afford his triple bypass.

how else am I supposed to pay my 250k in loans? charity? is the government going to write it off? do you realize medical students are not classed as PHDs so they do NOT get the same entitlements as say...someone getting their PHD in english or women's studies

enjoy that one america.

I would support universal healthcare, but unfortunately we live in 62% land so that's not gonna work out.

I really like our health system and having a private option is great. If you go private you get some tax break to make up for it. I have used both health care providers and honestly the public system when it comes to seeing a family physician is great and the out patient facilities such as pain clinics are good too.

And kids with leukemia? What happens to them?

Ben Shapiro gets a top quality Hebrew doctor meanwhile your average rural and suburban retard is fucked and has to resort to meth.

No one has a 'right' to health. It's not the governments fault, it's not my fault, odds are it could be your fault. Of course with cancer and other diseases that's a different story, but that doesn't mean the whole of the country has to foot your bill.
You have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as given in the Constitution. If health makes you happy then pursue it, you have the liberty to do so with your life.
Health costs are only as high as they are because the government 'fixed' it before.
youtube.com/watch?v=fFoXyFmmGBQ

The way it ought to be is that you should be able to pay to get ahead, but if you can't, there ought to be relatively affordable care left.

But America's fucked up their healthcare.

The furniture similee was not some of Ben’s best work. The underlying orinciple about socialized healthcare being tantamount to enslaving doctors is valid, it just needs much more subtle and careful wording to resonate with fucking morons.

Doctors should be treated as slaves and forced to treat poor retards at no cost.

>Working hard and striving for something
lmao but what about my fourteen'th gender? outskilled fuckin white male

>Do Americans have the right to good health

You have the right to choose if you want good or bad health. If you want, you can drink soda, eat fried food and smoke cigarettes. That's your right to do so. That does not mean that it's the governments job to now take care of you because of your poor choices.

If Americans have the right to good health, then America should be banning every non-healthy thing for you to ensure that you have good health. I'd rather have the choice of having good or bad health.

>health = healthcare
Stop this retarded shit. A fit lower middle class person is more healthy than an obese 1%er who goes to Mayo Clinic every weekend

>Of course with cancer and other diseases that's a different story, but that doesn't mean the whole of the country has to foot your bill.

So they get fucked? You're a genuine asshole. If you have the resources to help suffering people, those who are suffering through no fault of their own, you're a miserable soul and Jesus would be the first to condemn you.

up front, retard. Why should someone get services for free? Are hospitals filled with slaves in you opinion?

Americans don't have the right to health care or any other good or service. At the same time, given the political collusion with insurance and medical companies to completely destroy a reasonable healthcare market resulting in inflated costs, moves need to be made to reduce consumer costs to within reason.

The current Chargemaster model to negotiate with large insurance companies does not lend itself to dealing with an individual consumer. You either belong to a large collective or risk losing everything.

>If Americans have the right to good health, then America should be banning every non-healthy thing for you to ensure that you have good health
This but unirronically

If you want to help people, help people. Jesus would call you a thief for the crap you advocate, because that's what you condone. Theft.

>this is what kikes believe
Fixed that for you. Reject Communism, Reject Capitalism, Embrace National Socialism

>how else am I supposed to pay my 250k in loans?
By not being a retard about your expenses that you can't pay.

we all know cuckservatives are the biggest idiots in the nation. The problem is the left is worse.
Ideally we want a system that takes care of everyone(education, healthcare, unemployment).

Pol will shill for this kike

>b but I dun wan niggurz to get fwee helf care

>two verified kike accounts argue on twitter

it's all so tiresome

It's not worth it to keep the people who stock vegetables at walmart alive vs the heads of major corporations. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but its likely if you post on Sup Forums you probably are the former and not the latter.

Cancer doesn't pop out of thin air. Whatever caused it had nothing to do with me, so don't make me pay for it. Fundraisers, donations, and groups like saint judes had this covered.

You can also learn to treat your own illness. Doesn't mean it's going to be quality work.
The analogy still works.

kek at americans, enjoy your shit health care.

When you get shot in a school shooting and have to pay $100,000 to the hospital to fix you will you still defend your shit healthcare system?

There's this great thing known as 'charity', I doubt you've heard of it since you're too busy virtue signalling and demanding that I help someone when you won't attack me, you'll let the government attack me so you can feel good. Charities are much more effective.

I don't think free health care is the solution. I think, maybe, some kind of regulation on heath care prices & bringing down the astronomical cost of health care could be the better solution.

Ok.

Some one shoots you and then offs themselves. Enjoy your bill, should have dodged that bullet better if you didn't want to foot a 5 figure bill.

Health and health Care are two different things.
You have the right to not have poison shoved into your body.
You do not have a right to the labor of a doctor or medical researcher for free.

Note the difference.

They have a 90% survival rate in the US now, how did that happen?

According to a page at NHS.UK their rate is only 85%, why?

How terrible it must be to survive a mortal wound and then owe the people who saved you compensation.

>what is an unexpected accident
>what is childbirth

Chance of that happening is basically zero, govt could cover these cases easily.

Implying anyone from Sup Forums is being shot and not the one shooting.

Ishiggydiggy

Catastrophic event insurance covers things like that. For instance, anybody hurt during the Vegas shooting had all of their expenses paid by the state. Try again.

*conservatives in America, and that is a terrible argument by Shapiro.

A Public Health care option would still exist in the Australian Ethnostate. Ben Shapiro, however, wouldn't be allowed in.

A Public Healthcare option shouldn't be seen as a "Right" (because it isn't) but it is a good thing to have for your people.

That's America's problem though: There has to be a "Your People" first, for you to want to help them out. You need a high level of social-trust/good-will. The more diverse/multicultural a nation becomes, the less social cohesion/social-trust.

White Americans are sick of paying for everyone else with their taxes, only to be shit on by everybody else. Why should they pay for the health-care of people who hate them?

Liberalism destroys Loyalty.

not even memeing. this has nothing to do with being "libertarian", this is just delusional bullcrap.

participating or "SUBSIDIZING" is exactly how a healthy society works.

can you imagine a hunter back in the days killing a mammoth and only bringing back 2 steaks, telling everyone "LOL! hunt ye' own mammoth FAGS!"

>what is an emergency fund

Fuck you, nigger.
They exist to profit from you, but the costs are hidden. Prices are revealed after the fact.
Competition is impossible because of this. You're probably too stupid to figure this out.
I have 3 docs in my immediate family, I know the scale of the medical scam intimately.

>what is an unexpected accident
what is personal responsibility?

>what is childbirth
Cheap as fuck with insurance. My boss had a kid at a hospital and it cost him $300. My other co-worker went with a home birth and hired a doula/midwife that cost several times that.

>buying a desk ought to be equivalent to receiving health care
the absolute state of jews, holy shit

go to doctor and get cock and balls removed. some dumb taxpayer pays my bills. hahaha. 2 years later kill my self. hahaha doctor goes fishing on his 110k boat chopitoffame paid for..

That hunter has nothing to lose by bringing back more and lots to gain by keeping his family fed.
You have money to lose by subsidizing fatasses and nothing to gain from it.

You'll be treated but you'll be in debt. Which would you prefer? Death or debt?
I'd take the debt.

Healthcare should be free, absolutely.
>b-but healthcare is expensive
Pay doctors and nurses minimum wage. Don't allow them to quit working. Making quitting illegal

>Obummercare is not affordable
>somehow its conservatives faults
faggot.

You absolute faggot, it took numerous hunters to go out and kill a mammoth. They went out in hunting parties. The men that went out all split the mammoths that they caught collectively, and voluntarily with the other hunters that went out. That was a social contract.

I guarantee you that the men that stayed at home and didn't go out and hunt with them didn't get food... actually I can guarantee that those faggots were probably banished from the tribe.

I'm not going to make every tax payer pay for the incident. I'm going to have a doctor fix me, then pay him. If I can't pay hon all at once I'll have to finance it to monthly payments. Jesus look how easy that was. People act like they won't treat you unless you pay. The ER cannot turn away critical patients.

>"SUBSIDIZING" is exactly how a healthy society works
Subsiding is how costs increase Hans. It raises fees because the government has to step in by taking more of your money. Allowing multiple healthcare professionals to compete brings prices down.

>liberals actually believe that they are entitled to the resources of others

What are private charities

>keep $30,000 on reserve in case you happen to have medical emergency just so you don't go bankrupt

Most people can barely afford to pay their bills, much less save up a shit ton of money in the case of an emergency.

>hey goyz
>look at this silly SJW
>lemme btfo it
>now go and die for Israel

Im suprised this rat-like neocon has many fans on here. Apart from his anti-feminist ramblings he is a 100% swamp type hardline Bushist.

And that is in no way related to healthcare.

>They exist to profit from you
And? So you literally think they should be slaves to your needs then?
>but the costs are hidden. Prices are revealed after the fact.
You can call and ask what a procedure costs, what the resources cost. Fact is cost cant be calculated at a flat rate for ANY medical procedure.
>Competition is impossible because of this. You're probably too stupid to figure this out.
the fuck you talking about? The government banned all competition such as fraternal orgs that would provide for healthcare.
Explain to me how even if they concealed costs, how this alone stops competitor couldnt open up shop and put costs up front.
>I have 3 docs in my immediate family, I know the scale of the medical scam intimately.
Sounds to me like you're not a doctor yet you think you're an expert because your daddy provided you a cushy life.

They have many different options for healthcare. Nice attempt at appeal to emotion though. It doesn't work on me though, I'm a very firm believer in Darwinism.

You must have missed the "unexpected" part

Insurance isn't affordable either. That's the main issue.

>National Socialists are being asked to defend the libertarian idiocy of Neo-Conservative Ben Shapiro.

No one supports Ben Shapiro and his analogy isn't the best, but sometimes he does say something right.
Overall is he is a kike through and through

fatasses die decades earlier. every statistic shows that lard people are not the problem. you pay for old people and disabled people + cancer.

you can't stop people from getting old, getting cancer or being born disabled (or you go full 14/88).

and some of you fucks want to build up a new white, maybe even 1488, society KEK. impossible without a healthy volkskörper and everyone willing to sacrifice everything for each other.

You have the right to ACCESS healthcare.
The government is not allowed to tell you you cannot get a certain treatment, or to force you to be treated in a way you believe to be detrimental to your health.
You have a right to access any treatment you want provided: A) you have the ability to pay, and B) there is enough supply (e.g. you can't demand an organ if there aren't enough to go around, and you can't demand a risky surgery no one is willing to perform)
I would even go so far as to say that healthcare is one of the few areas where freedom of association is trumped by other concerns. A doctor does not have the right to deny care to specific groups of people for reasons other than lack of ability to pay.

However, no one is obligated to PROVIDE healthcare for you, you need to pay for it yourself, and arrange for the treatment yourself.
Asserting that someone has the right to receive a specific kind of healthcare regardless of logistics of ability to pay means that doctors must be forced at gunpoint to provide for anyone and everyone.
It is the state's duty to ensure that your rights are protected, so a right to healthcare implies the state has a duty to keep you healthy.

Unless you believe that doctors should be forced to hike out to remote mountaintops to treat patients, or to pay for all costs out of their own pocket, you do not believe in a Right to Healthcare.
You simply believe that you are entitled to money you did not earn if you happen to be ill.

>everyone on Sup Forums is a proud right-winger
>until something they failed to plan for comes up and they immediately go full Bernie Sanders
Buy insurance you fucking retards

This. Those who are well-off should be shackled to those who aren't. The people who can afford to take care of themselves (whites) should have money taken from their families to provide for the families of those who can't support themselves (minorities)

national socialists worship ben shapiro

So hospitals are responsible for setting chargemaster pricing? And they're pocketing the markup?

>actually I can guarantee that those faggots were probably banished from the tribe.
prove it, then. I'm so fucking tired of faggots like you making stupid arguments based on absolutes they cannot prove and even one single exception would invalidate.

This just isn't realistic. There are different types of people in the world and that's just the way it is. Wake the fuck up plox.

this is what ben shapiro, the kike, believes

>national socialists worship ben shapiro
Don't be silly, leaf.

>You must have missed the "unexpected" part
Expect the unexpected, dipshit. It's part of being a functioning adult.

>Insurance isn't affordable either. That's the main issue.
speak for yourself. One needs a job to afford anything, maybe you should start there.

The point of insurance is for that unexpected part. Do you walk around with 50 Grand on hand if you get in a car accident and wreck your and the other person's car plus hurt them? Probably not. If you choose to live without health insurance you're taking the RISK of being hit with an even bigger bill than a monthly premium. Or maybe you'll go your entire life without ever needing it. Who knows. That's the bet.

>thinking people should die because they can't afford healthcare.

Conservatives are the worst.

Yes it fucking is... That's the whole point. The common person can't afford healthcare. They have to choose between bankruptcy and not dying. What is it you right wingers don't get?

>I have the docs in my family

Instant expert... Yeah I know a few engineers got any questions about stress concentrations in suspension bridges?
Fuck off

We are not hunter-gatherers anymore idiot.

You don't have the right to the labor of others unless it is a government job. The state cannot and will not pay doctor's salaries to give you a right you don't have. You either afford it or you don't. It sucks but so does being alive. Do you have a right to eat? A right to clothes and shelter? No. Because you can't force labor on others for your well being. Life sucks when you're not a king.

Positive rights are communist bullshit, fuck off. They can’t even work unless you have a high-trust, homogeneous society, and in that case people would be happy to make it voluntary through charity. And the lolbertarians will tell you this is more efficient anyway.

We'll turn him into a lampshade and worship him on an altar.

They wouldn't have to choose those two choices had you stupid fucking liberals gave the government access to healthcare in the first place. Fucking hell you goddamn retards. Healthcare was entirely affordable to all classes before the government 'fixed' it the first time you Commie fuck

>people should do stuff for nothing
this is what liberals actually believe

>Someone saves my life and I have to pay them.
Sounds good to me.

ofc we are. absolutly NOTHING changed. the moment electricity goes out for 2 weeks and no authotarian force is watching its back to raping gals behind a rock and solving disputes with stones and sharp objects.

some take this whole libertarian angle too serious. you can't even be 75% free in a "healthy" modern society. if you want to live the true FREE experience go out inna woods.

Shapiro is a filthy kike but he’s probably referring to the fact that the doctor or hospital most people go to charges outrageous premium prices for services you can find cheaper elsewhere if you shop around. Employer benefit programs even off what some call a “no insurance” program for those who shop around because it actually winds up saving you money (and has tax benefits). Jews are usually in these plans so that’s how he knows

>Unexpected childbirth
That's what the consent and liability waiver form was for 9 months ago, retard.

>Positive rights are communist bullshit, fuck off.
Indeed. They cannot be achieved without breaking the restraints placed on our government intended to prevent abuse of the people.

Ben shapiro is an evil jew. Do the opposite of what he says.
