/mig/ - 卐 MARS INDEPENDENT GENERAL 卐

This thread is dedicated to the discussion of creating a European Colony on Mars mainly by "stealth" with the possibility of even making a eventual claim to independence once enough of us have settled. This is real. This is going to happen. We need you to consider the choice.

Mars Aeternum.

The first Mars Colony is predicted to be established as early as 7 years from now. Very quickly the colony is going to expand, and Elon Musk has made it clear that commercial emigration will come in to play only a few years later. This means the first large influx of settlers over the next 50 years are going to be families who sell their properties on Earth for the ticket. Only people who can afford to move there will be able to.
lets face it - a majority european colony on mars is the only way to truly secure the 14 words.

>Plan:
/mig/ is a new general and a work in progress. feel free to contribute ideas. in short, once the colonisation effort goes commercial, we need to move there.

The general will be posted a few times a week or a few times a day.

one of the main goals of this general is to simply re-inspire our fellow Nationalists, Fascists & Racialists on the subject of space exploration & colonisation. We hope to promote a new positive attitude towards life on Mars amongst those who value the future of the European peoples.

The only thing the jews will allow Mars for is to make a slave colony by lying to people it's a resort or escape from Earth.

Haven't you played Red Faction?

Ultor are /ourguys/ lol... red faction are commie scum.
(Its a good game)
Luckily for us its going to take some time for (((them))))) to fully sink their teeth into Mars.

it gives us time

Fuck, now I really want to live on Mars.

any good games about space

some information about the planet
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars

Really opens my mind.

Red faction is an alright game.
I feel like id be naming all the obvious ones... like Dead Space, Alien Isolation etc....
What space games have you played ?

it has potential to be so comfy

WAKE APPP
SNAP OUT OV ITTT

DEY VOUND USSSS

The climate of mars is even more harsher than Earth's though and the resources are limited. Is this colonization worth the try?

Thanks. I'll include some info from the wiki in the next general

It's not going to be an easy life, but it is going to be an adventure none the less. The long term of making the planet more livable is out of our hands, but we can secure the existence of our peoples, cultures, (and ideologies) by making sure some of us are prepared to go there and live it out in the short term.

FUCK MARS

What if the martian environment ruins the white race? Surely it will encourage evolution in novel directions.

What would happen if we encountered aliens?

The only effects I can think of are from low gravity or radiation, the effects of both can be combatted/reduced

who knows, its a chance some of us are going to have to take.

I doubt there are aliens living on Mars... after all it does seem pretty empty.

>glass has one crack
>die from radiation exposure and lack of oxygen

I'd only go if the entire thing was underground.

They may live underground or in very small villages

Also there's a possibility that Nasa is hiding information about martian lifeforms

thats true, even we would largely live underground on Mars.

We wont know until we go.
(unless NASA have been keeping secrets

My dad is one of the robot creators for NASA and I can visit the space center whenever I want. Also they let me drive the Mars rover and they control it with an xbox360 remote control! If anyone wants me to I can use the rover to find us a good starting spot next time I go.

Settling mars is a fundementally dumb idea. We do not have the tech to feasibly generate artificial gravity on mars or genetically engineer around it in a feasible sense. It makes far more sense to develope space industry on the moon and in lagrangian points in order to build o'neils cylinders. They would be far more effcient with far more surface area for mass and with acheiveable artificial gravity. Just my two cents. As a kid I loved reading up on mars could be settled but its fundementally a shitty candidate, even venus is better and that would take centuries to terraform with current technology, as you would have to build a solar shade to cool it down, sequester all the co2, import water and increase the speed of its rotation (the hardest bit) as the days are too long (cant fix mars to generate magnatism or its gravity). The best option is to generate ready made living space which is antifragile in nature, that is requires very little active maintainence.

>cant fix mars to generate magnatism or its gravity

It's core is dead too so no internal heat like earth so don't see how they intend to fix that

don't o'neil cylinders need more advanced tech than a simple colony on Mars would ?

lol wut

listen here, give turkey. you think you hoggin all the mars rocks.

>falling for the space meme.
Proving once again “redpilled” is just acccepting a different perceived authority’s bluepill

space isnt real..... elon is a fraud...wahh wahhhh wahhhhhhh

we've heard it all before.

Get your ass to Mars
Get your ass to Mars
Get your ass to Mars

the more I think about it, the more this seems like the only way we are ever going to get away from non whites

we probably won't ever go full exterminationist , so we are just going to have to leave all of the trash on earth and forge a new world

If I get to go to Mars, then I want to set up a 3.03 minute delayed livestream on the surface and then remove my helmet or find some other way to kill myself, so I can become the first person in history to die on the Red Planet.

Also what about the martian atmosphere? We would have to live for the rest of our lives with a helmets and oxygen bottles.

Thats why I said you cant you dumb cunt. Not at least with current technology. There are possible workarounds like generating a pseudo magnetic field with sattelites. But thats a task of engineering beyond the pale. I have no doubt that mars will be settled eventually for its resources but people wont live on the surface. Instead they will most likely live on an orbital ring. But we live and die in the here and now, so we must look to what is feasible in the near future not in the next few hundreds of years.

Personally I advocate for a set of nuclear propulsions systems launched from the outback here in australia to build up a space industry to set up space infrastructure like skyhooks for cheap & clean lift off, space manufacuring (zero g allows for new possibilites in making alloys and electronics), energy generation as solar is feasible up there in space, the creation of new living space with o'neils cylinders.

Well, let me make it clear that this thread is definitely not promoting that we abandon all hope in regards to our peoples in Europe.

But yes, many in our movement need to start seriously considering the long term.

Idea sounds much more Aldnoah Zero than mars desu.

The show was shit, but I'm down for going to Mars, building giant death robots, and then coming back to earth and shitting on all the filthy Terrans!

mars? I meant Red Faction!

Fuck I'm tired!

O'neils cylinders are less of an engineering challange yes. The only way you could make artificial gravity neccessary to live in mars is with rotating sections. That would be retardly expensive combined with the cost required to send all the stuff out there. Its simply much easier to find the right kind of asteroid, hollow it out, pressurize it and spin it up. If done right you would'nt even need your crew to be completely comprised of top tier engineers, docters and the like.

Stupidest fucking general yet.

If you unironically put effort towards this, fucking kill yourselves.

...

oxygen masks & pressurized suits would be the only way to leave the colony and explore martian landscape, yes. This is just part of the struggle and adventure mankind needs to go through. But remember, you can always take a holiday to earth if you wanted.

>no actual argument

>Thats why I said you cant you dumb cunt

wow if that's what you say to someone agreeing with you i can't imagine what you are like with someone who disagrees lool .

but i do agree the mars idea is stupid at the mo , maybe in 500 years or more for mining and other shit but not colonising .

basically pointless to colonize mars.
youtube.com/watch?v=kmFOBoy2MZ8

We also need to have good communication with earth in order to get supplies of suits, bottles, masks, water.pharmaceutical products, seeds and food

>first 20 seconds of vid
>GLOBAL WARMING
im out

In order to settle on Mars your structure would have to be an incredibly radiation-hardened structure. To the point where it's only feasible if the initial buildings are well underground, or if you somehow get a LOT of ready-to-construct and very-heavy materials there waiting for you. Most of the stuff proposed seriously for these kinds of missions goes on the assumption that the first few missions are suicide missions with people who care more about being the first on mars than the fact that they'll be a heap of tumors within days.

theres no radiation on mars wtf are you talkin about

>amerishart education
You do know that the sun emmits massive amounts of radiation right?

>mass exodus to mars
>mars environment changes us
>cease to be white
>you're playing killzone now

do we have a counter to this?

>implying
There's so much radiation that it causes damage to the rovers we send. And there's no atmosphere, so there's nothing special about being on the surface other than the fact that the surface will (partially) block about half the huge radiation dose you'd be getting in outer space.

I just looked up the dosage on wolfram. Being on the surface of Mars is equivalent to having 1500 (ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED) medical x-ray machines turned on and pointed at you. 24/7

Venus>Europa>Mars. Sky cities are the future and more feasible than mars cities

I think we would be whiter as there is less sunlight

...

Listen here, nigger. The whole point of the white race settling there is so they can regroup and take back Earth. Also what makes you think the jews won't send their mutt raced army to do orbital nukes of our colonies? We better have a missile defense system underway as soon as we get there. That would make their bastardized Kalergi plan so much easier to carry out. "All those bad goy whites moved to Mrs so now we can wipe'em out where no one can hear them scream"

GIVE UP MINER

wait a minute hang on i thought ultor were kikes. they literally have a jew scientist named (((capek)))

DON'T SHOOT ! I'M UNARMED !

going to need artificial gravity too lad
how are you going to get enough natural vitamin d in the terraforming years?

a lot needs to be accomplished first

Lol yeah its all pretty strange ... Red Faction are literally based on soviet revolutionaries though lol

Don't need artificial gravity if we go to venus

okay and how long will it take to terraform venus?
We'd have it by then anyway.

Terraforming is way off, I'm proposing self contained venus floating habitats which is very doable

>two weeks

I think I remember watching something about how small research outposts on Venus could exist as floating cities.... giant zeppelin type structures that move freely with venus' weather.

...

>Mars
Oh lawdy Sup Forums is dumb as fuck as usual.
Too much time, too much money, too much risk to colonize Mars. The returns don't even justify the reasons why to Colonize Mars.

If you want an actual chance at colonization make a space Station on Europa.

Mars is a waste for a candidate.

okay but good luck without overthrowing the system here and bypassing the problem completely anyways. A lot of power and material needed for that
Sound fun tho lad

Do you know how long, the amount of resources, people, and money needed to terraform at this day and age let alone in the next 100 years?

You're a dumbass if you think Mars will be the first space colonization project for a human.

...

Kind of disappointed, small thumbnail looked like Norm Macdonald and I thought what an inspired choice for leader of the European Colony.

One of my favorite scenes was in one of those movies from the 80's where superman takes the journalist lady to a trip in space. They had a nice chat and everything.

Europa requires almost 6km/s deltaV more than mars to get to you stupid retard, and it's a lot colder and gets less energy from the sun.

If you're just gonna make a stupid space station it might as well be on OUR moon, so at least it's not 6 gorillion miles away.

Lunar base is going to be for scientists & tourists. Mars will be the first real space colonization project, yes.

Still, Europa is /ourmoon/

>needed to terraform at this day and age let alone in the next 100 years?
Wanna know how to immediately spot a brainlet?
They always use "let alone" backwards.

>What is EM Drive

Also
>Make a station on the moon
>"Woo! Little to no gravity! Toxic moon rocks! Hey we got little nice view of the Earth! Aeiou!"
>Make a station on Europa
>"Oh shit nigger we got a nigh-unlimited supply of water! Oh fuck possible chance of finding life too! Much better than living in bumfuck nowhere Mars or our future Military Outpost!"

While I do agree it's a lot colder and less energy from the sun the only chance of Colonization for this solar systems is only done on the moons. All other planets here are completely useless or inhospitable to actually colonize.

If you actually want planetary colonization we'll have to go outside our solar system and many light years away.

Space programs are kind of international no matter where they are. My best guess is that if there ever is a colony on Mars it will probably be made up of multicultural astronauts, not normal people of any race but people who excel in STEM fields. This means they will be high IQ, high impulse control, low aggression nerdy sperg types. They will live in astronomically harsh conditions, wear suits and live in closed in domes constantly. Mars is pretty ugly, there's nothing super amazing about it so I can only imagine they would excel in the arts as well due to sheer boredom and ugliness of their surroundings. It's just a cold rock floating in space and it's smaller than earth.

If earth ever destroys itself at least some humans might live on on Mars and can perhaps rocket back to earth eventually. Mars, after several generations would probably have people that look sort of Asian but darker and with some European features here and there. They will be more peaceful than most people on earth but more spergy. Earth however will advance past them because we have less shit to deal with and because there are more people here. But they would be more likely to outlast us. I doubt they would build weapons, everyone would have to work together in tiny communities just to survive. It would literally be like communism. Mars could literally produce the best of what everyone wants: communism, multiculturalism, one mixed race that works together, but high IQ, high impulse control, low aggression types. Smart women, smart men. Probably high tech robotics type of shit. It could also lead to other places in our solar system being colonized, like Titan, which would be far more visually beautiful but I think possibly even harsher.

Mars will not be an ethno-planet imo.

>Independence

Enjoy reenactment of Killzone.

>Italians trying into space
Please stick to your mafias and pastas and we'll be alright in the world, thanks.

what should the flag be?

we also could have nigh-unlimited supply of water here if we furthered desalination tech

just dropping a point

I was wrong actually, Europa is almost TEN km/s farther than Mars.

The entire solar system is /oursystem/, but we should start with sensible goals first.
It's either gonna be the Moon or Mars, not some moon that is 6 years travel and 10km/s farher out than that.
We'll only get that far out once we have high thrust, spacebound ships powered by NTRs and not conventional rockets.

The nice thing about Europa and Titan is we can have a space elevator with current technology.
That allows pumping fuel up to orbit easily from their oceans.

3 arrows in a downward facing triangle of course

This one

the bulk of the colonisation effort is going to be commercial, that's a fact. aka, if you cant afford it, you wont be able to go.

If you are implying governments will be sending blacks to Mars in the same way they are being sent to Europe (for sake of diversity), that's simply not true. It would cost too much.

but yes there are going to be a mix of different people living there.

how about this?

...

Mars or any planet is simply an absurd waste of resources for colonization.
You are better off creating orbitals around Ceres or O'Neil Rings.
Planets are gravity death traps with deadly environment you can't control.
Also you can't give birth on Mars by natural means

>Mars is pretty ugly, there's nothing super amazing about it so I can only imagine they would excel in the arts as well due to sheer boredom and ugliness of their surroundings

Actually they are some pretty places on Mars, some amazing looking craters and formations. Probably even more the reason not to colonize it.
And even if we will, I doubt the population will be more than a couple of million focused in 90% in 5-10 settlements

We can but countries spending their capital and people in their own pressing matters than desalination. I don't blame them because the cost and energy to run desalination is pretty intense. Wait a few more decades and we'll probably come around to it.

Funny thing that we'll be having wars for fresh water after 2050.

If the Axis Powers won the war, we would have been on Mars 20 years ago. Now we waste hundreds of billions attempting to educate negroids, cleaning up their crimes, and subsidizing the retarded.

> I doubt the population will be more than a couple of million focused in 90% in 5-10 settlements

Space Canada?

This is worse then penny crystals and tide pods combined
It’s not very stealthy now is it
Get the fuck out of my board cianigger

...

we're already on mars, happened back in the 90s

>creating a European Colony on Mars
Start here please: space.stackexchange.com/questions/2423/how-would-it-be-possible-to-kick-start-marss-magnetic-field

> the bulk of the colonisation effort is going to be commercial, that's a fact.

The public sector is probably far more likely to push this sort of thing and the degree of technical proficiency that will be required in order to just survive on a planet like this would prevent normies from wanting to or being allowed to go. If you can not be of use you will probably not be allowed to go. They can't just have useless people hanging around doing nothing but breathing the air and using up resources. It would be a highly controlled environment.
> aka, if you cant afford it, you wont be able to go.

The government will be able to afford it with tax payer money and will be able to create restrictions on who can and cannot go via international pacts, etc...There's no reason to think things won't be similar to how they are today in the future.

> If you are implying governments will be sending blacks to Mars in the same way they are being sent to Europe (for sake of diversity), that's simply not true.

I think they will send a handful of people of all races to Mars, mostly Chinese, because the space programs are more diverse than they were in the past. I'm simply extrapolating about how the space program is run today and how it will run in the future. I assume it will be slightly more multicultural in the next 75 to 100 years when we start seriously considering colonizing anything (it will probably be a political stunt, like the moon landing was and probably a Chinese stunt or a join effort of Chinese-American).

> It would cost too much. but yes there are going to be a mix of different people living there.

I'm just extrapolating based on the current space program relative to the ethnic diversity of older space programs what the future make up will be.

Could u imagine being the first human to smoke DMT on Mars?

Literal fucking LARP fuck off faggot holy shit you're peak homosexuality
