6,000 American POW's were abandoned in Russia and forgotten about.
We invaded to fight commies and help the White Russian Tsarists. A noble effort. We got to splatter the brains of some commies, help out our boys, get some practice in the snow, and go back home.
Meanwhile no Russian has yet to set foot on American soil.
>6,000
Kek there weren't even that many Americans in either campaign taking part. They all returned home. Nice disinfo though you dumb retard.
bullshit, it wasn't about communism because you actually supported other communist group like mensheviks.
The US didn't even know why they invaded.
It was just to grab land.
> that many Americans
there were 11000 american troops being part of the invasion you absolute retarded mutt
The amerimutt army lost again lmao
You can't just say that 6000 Americans were captured, you have to prove it by citing a source. Please do that
worst is that the american soldiers there didn't even know why they were invading russia.
They even got their tanks captured by siberian peasants LMAO
You forgot the part where the legitimate government of Russia was overthrown by a bunch of Jews who then promptly started to commit mass atrocities against the Russian and Orthodox population.
Its a shame the Allies didnt send an entire army to Moscow and execute every single Bolshevik.
6,000/11,000 captured is like red army numbers of POWs lmao
i wrote "Abandonned"
they were left there, you understand or just dumb?
>it was to grab land
Right, because we need a bunch of frozen wasteland in the middle of Siberia. Sure.
>11,000 troops being part of the invasion
5,000 from the Polar Bear Expedition (exclusively American) and 8,000 as a part of a British, French and Japanese coalition.
Of all of them, 285 died, the rest returned home.
>replying to meme flags and expecting an argument instead of pure retardation
Oh btw, enjoy this pic of Americans marching in Vladivostok.
oh and why did the allies support the Mensheviks ? (another communist group)
It wasn't about the noble anti-commie cause
it was just like nowadays typically a USA-doctrine to prop up terrorist group against eachother to grab land
Nope; 11000 american troops
Bro u wrong haha
You have a firm thought they were 11,000 troops, 6000 of them however we're not left there
here enjoy a picture of the retreat when they fled like cowards lmao
>american soldiers
>posts british tank
Why are memeflags objectively the most retarded posters on this board?
>UK Tank
part of the allied intervention. You're grasping at straws
it wasnt very serious. we were mostly supplying white russians. eventually someone remembered they were there and we brought em home.
It's American tradition to lose against medÃocre powers
>not serious
except for the part where you captured literally half of siberia...
>supllying white russians
this meme needs to die. You didn't only do that. you supported mainly the mensheviks, a bolchevik group
WE
>make claim
>get proven wrong
>backtracking desperately
>accusing me of grasping at straws
This is my last reply to you, you shitty fucking memeflag cancer. Sage
anti-sage
The allies were quick to recognize the provisional government (which was mostly made up of socialists and liberals) after the February revolution because it had promised them that it would continue to fight against the Germans.
After the coup in October they started to support every anti-bolshevik group because the bolshevik government had decided to pull out of WW1, which freed up millions of German soldier who were promptly sent to the Western front.

sage, no (you)s for soyboys
why the confederate flag in the grave tho
Russia was never an ally of the United States during WWI. It was already disintegrating into Civil War by the time America intervened.
oh come on its fucking siberia. laying a MSR from your one fucking port to the larts of your country where people live will yes necessarily include a lot of fucking siberia. but really the place is pretty much fucking empty. whatd we conquer? a couple of two reindeer towns and seventeen snowmen?
>Meanwhile no Russian has yet to set foot on American soil.
i meant that russia was a US ally during independance war
didn't russia sent a warship off New York to support the US?
no idea. I now the french did. and ten years later we laughed as they killed themselves.
Russia did not directly participate in the Revolutionary War. Not like they could've done much anyway. It was mainly an American and French show.
found a source
Russia was US ally during Civil War though. Russian support for the Union played a huge part in discouraging French and British intervention. Russians sent warships to American harbors in order to make a point.
Wow and millions of German soldiers were tossed in gulags, forced into labor camps in France, and denied Geneva convention protections after ww2.
Shit sucks then you die. Who cares.
Anyway, geopolitics are whorish business.
As American power wanes and Chinese power grows, we might even see a reverse in American-Russian relations and strategic alliance, directed against China. Unless America combusts on account of economic/social instability and demographic changes. But I hope not.

Well, officially they were helping their ally against the bolshevik revolt. But this is bullshit.
USA financed bolsheviks in the first place, this intervention was to help them actually.
>>be this buttblasted that you recognize the Soviet Union only 14 years later
And yet USA was instrumental in USSR's industrialization during those 14 years...

>March 1921: New Economic Policy
>In March 1921, Russian leader Lenin announced the New Economic Policy (NEP) that permitted some liberal policies, such as private land ownership and trade, but preserved state ownership of heavy industry. Lenin also intended to attract foreign investment necessary to build Russian infrastructure. Under NEP, a number of private American businesses were able to invest in the Russian economy, particularly in development and mining projects.
>1924-1928: Death of Lenin and Rise of Stalin
>Following Lenin's death in January 1924, the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Joseph Stalin, moved to consolidate political power. Stalin supported a policy of building "socialism in one country" rather than achieving international communism that encompassed a global working class. Stalin succeeded in driving out Lenin's supporters, and hardened the communist line within the Soviet Union by moving to accelerate industrialization and collectivizing agricultural production and land holdings. This race to industrialize drove a large number of Soviet orders for heavy machinery from the United States.
