No, it's the opposite. It's a mind-numbingly mediocre and uninteresting kids show about a haunted school, that for some godawful reason got localised. But nobody in charge gave one iota of a fuck, so they just told the english VAs they could do whatever they want with the script.
The result is the best comedy anime ever created.
The best dub ever concieved.

The worst so far was a girl being turned into a fruit drink so her dad could drink her when he needed sustenance. Second worst is a girl turning into a meat puppet while crying in agony, only for her soul to be trapped in an immortal creature's body that just wanders around on its own. It's a pretty lighthearted story about the dangers of cave exploring.

The scenario that led to the creation of Samurai Flamenco isn't something that comes around very often. That was the kind of show you expect from a small studio that needs to fill a portfolio and don't mind if it's a mess, not a studio like manglobe (fallen far from their prime but still) with an experienced staff backed with fairly substantial sponsors. It's a miracle it was ever produced, cherish it like a shooting star that's fallen into your lap.
