It can be quite expensive if you want to do it the "official" way. You need to pay for Torah lessons, and it takes about 2 years to get fully in there. They will also place you in a Jewish community at the end of the process, so that you attend a Jewish synagogue and form a circle of Jewish friends. After that though, the Yeshiva with which you studied will have your back and protect you from any discrimination you may get from Jews as a "convert".
Some Yeshivas actually do Torah teaching for free though, so it is possible for anybody to get it, so long as you have the IQ to be able to read and memorise the Torah and the Tanakh.
