Find a flaw

this story-line was too depressing for me, my sad levels were off the chart.
Might be because I had a simmilar thing happen to me with a girl from primary school and I ended up ignoring her.
I didn't expect monogatari to make me feel so hard, damn you ougi

Retarded enough to put her faith into Araragi.

...

didn't kill araragi

Mathematics are for autists

Found the gay engineer

...

doesn't have a massive feminine penis

Secondary character

A shame, she's better than Hitagi and Hanekawa

how do you know

...

This. She could have been a pretty interesting addition in the original cast, helping people with the not supernatural side like she did with Nadeko. Though I wonder if she would end up having too much of an intersection with Kaiki.

She put a rather absurd amount of faith into a kid instead of just talking about it.

That kid was a famous hero though, much more active than the fire sister. And if she ratted out her parents then they would be right that she destroyed the family.

She was also a 12 year old girl herself.

He didn't do shit until he was in high school. She only chose him because his parents were cops.

He was already bothered that not knowing math was not just though. But Hanekawa didn't really say when he started being a hero, so I guess he could have started later but then he didn't stay in that phase for long since it was just about 3 years between the summer lessons and the class trial.

She released a version of mathemagics way worse than the OP from the anime.

One of the best girls, shame we didn't get that much of her. Also Muraragi is a terrible person.

>Secondary character

This is indeed her biggest flaw. Can't be helped since Nisio Isin created her later on in the existence of the series.

But I don't know if I could call her better than Hitagi. They both carry the scene in different ways.

>crab better than anyone
kek

She is all flaws. And somehow still perfect.

>Crab worse than anyone
top kek

Crab is the worst girl.

...

:^)

She Loves Math

That's one of her great aspects. The only flaw is that her classmates couldn't see the truth and call her Euler in appreciation.

Makes her all the easier to bully.

She reminds me of norman bates

flat

OP said flaw. It's not like you don't have a lot to choose from.

Am I supposed to hate Nadeko for this? I thought it was pretty cool seeing a nip not mincing words. She said nothing wrong. I found her annoying in Bake, and expected to hate her because of how everyone else apparently did, but I actually felt like she redeemed herself as a character in this arc. Sure, she wasn't in line with morality or sanity, but I respect people with a strong will to achieve their goal.

T. humanitiesfag

It's alright though, she steals ###ragi from the Crab's clutches later, but it's a misunderstanding of course.

reminder

>I respect people with a strong will to achieve their goal
Araragi wasn't her goal. The entire arc was her using him as an excuse to run away from her real goal: being a mangaka.

おいくら?

おい、こら!

I guess I mean to say I admire people who lack inhibition to do what it is they want. Most people would never have the courage to become a god and fight their friends.

こらじゃね

High on Math.

She lacked inhibition, sure, but she didn't display any courage. The entire arc was her running away like a coward and screwing other people over because she was too afraid to pursue her dreams.

There's a lot of shit I don't mind blaming Araragi for but this isn't one of them to be honest. He didn't have enough to go on to assume that he had something to take action about, he thought that they were meeting up at some abandoned house summer hideout-type place and not her actual house even. When he tried to talking to Sodachi about anything other than maths she stayed quiet too.

Not blaming Sodachi either, I get the reasons why she stayed quiet.

VA performance of the year.

>Find a flaw
Math is boring

>Crab is the worst girl.
Hitagi is the best girl of Bakemonogatari and the first season is the best Monogatari of all.

>Hitagi is the best girl of Bakemonogatari
Not even in the anime adaptation of it where they cut tons of dialogue with the other chicks out, nah. She was great in Hitagi Crab specifically and that's where she peaked.

Hitagi's the least interesting part of every arc she shows up in though. Even in Hitagi Crab Oshino was more interesting.

Not worst girl though, that's reserved for Hanekawa.

I can't

Your shit taste is the least relevant to the discussion

Hanekawa has a good body, but it's the only good thing about her. All the other girls have better stories, personalities, and arguably better bodies depending on your tastes.

>Hanekawa has a good body, but it's the only good thing about her
Thanks only what you see, you underdeveloped teenager.

>personalities
Why would you even consider crab if you're a sane person and into BDSM?
She's a decent character but she's the worst girl to have BY fucking far.
Top tier is non-loli Shinobu, Hanekawa, Sodachi, everyone else, Hitagi.

She's ugly.

>someone doesn't like my boring, passive-aggressive cunt of a waifu
>baww
Can we skip past the irellevant sob stories and headcannon and get to the part where you stop posting?

>Why would you even consider crab if you're a sane person and into BDSM?
meant *not into BSDM

Can you stop shitting the walls with your shit taste?

I know I preempted your whole retarded routine where you gush about you're waifu while pretending you're making an argument but I'm just not feeling it tonight.

Her backstory is plenty sympathetic and all and I want to like her but her character conflict shouldn't function unless she's just legitimately autistic, which she's not supposed to be. She struggles acting normal which she wants to do as if she doesn't know how to but interacts with enough people that she should know how to do that just by having enough points of reference,

>Her backstory is plenty sympathetic and all and I want to like her but her character conflict shouldn't function unless she's just legitimately autistic, which she's not supposed to be. You don't need to be autistic to struggle with communication and properly dealing with your emotions and feelings.
Are you calling everyone who's in love autistic?

I'm not specifically talking about her feelings for Araragi, I'm talking about her not knowing how to act normal in general.

I'm glad that someone agrees with my evaluation of Hanekawa, but I'm really not looking to repeating this whole song and dance.

Why would she know that with the family of hers?

She interacts with enough people to 'know' what normal is. A large part of her entire deal isn't that she can't or struggles to act normal but that she outright doesn't know how, somehow.

You can't even defend your waifu and just resort to inferring the people who dislike her to be immature. Too bad I don't give a shit. Of course I'm really fucking immature, but so are you when you go around trying to use appeal to age authority as an indication of superiority. You're waifu is shit, and so are you.

Plenty, because she interacts with hundreds, thousands of people who aren't a part of her family. She watches them be lazy, run from things that are hard, fail tests, and generally let their flaws get the better of them instead of acting like saints. Then she acts like a saint and wonders why she isn't normal.

At least crab can be mildly entertaining at times, despite being absolute shit. Hanekawa is just completely boring, the only good part of her was Hanekawa black and even that got ruined. Crab is shit, but at least she doesn't take up as much time in the story. Hanekawa is just an absolute drag on my enjoyment of the series.

>She interacts with enough people to 'know' what normal is. A large part of her entire deal isn't that she can't or struggles to act normal but that she outright doesn't know how, somehow.

To know what normal is is not the same as imprinting it. Also she's communicating with a fucking vampires and oddities, they are hardly normal.

She gets better further in the series I feel. She was cool in the Sodachi stuff and her low-key teasing Gahara over Araragi at the end of Ougi Dark was fun too.

Main problem with her is that the beginning of her arc progressed very, very fucking slowly.

There is none.
She's perfect outside of her ability to tell a corpse from a living person

Personally I thought she was at her best in Nise.

Being completely unecessary and forced into story way too late, and her design in anime is fucking ugly
>boring
Spoken like 13 yeard old.

>anyone who doesn't like muh waifu is a kid
Ok nigger

>people who dislike her are immature
But it's true?
They all like:"Hurr Hanekawa is boring but black is cool cuz muh BEWBS"
For them characters are like some kind of toys that supposed to entertain them, so unless these toys have no dumb gimmick, these chars are "boring", let alone the ability to feel sympathy for characters and relate to them like you would to real person.

She disappeared and hasn't been heard from since.

Because she is fucking boring. She's just yet another "wah I wish I was normal" nip archetype. It's not just that she's boring, she's uninteresting. I thought Black was interesting because she was devoted to someone, and because she had an interesting dynamic as she slowly merged with normal Hanekawa. The whole plot revolving around her stress and her inability to feel at home anywhere was a lot better than the same stupid shit almost every fucking character in anime does. Sure, it was slightly different from the usual "I want to be normal", but at the end of the day it's roughly the same thing. I don't care about realism or how well you can write a boring, uninteresting concept. I read, watch, and listen to other peoples work to find interesting things, not bland bullshit. If liking things to not be boring makes me immature, then fine, I'm immature. I'm not really interested in a maturity that's boring.

>Because she is fucking boring
But she isn't.

She really is.

You are just an underage who wants flashy and gimmicky characters. No wonder you can't appreciate Hanekawa with your lack of education and taste.
As cliche as it sounds, but you are literally just a filthy pleb. Which is, of course, not a rare case on Sup Forums.

Nah, she's just boring.

>Being completely unncessary
She's Araragi's backstory + it foreshadows Ougi's nature.

Congrats. She was decently interesting during Kizu when she was desperately chasing Araragi's dick. Then she got comfortable and decided to be Nofun McShitbantz.

Please elaborate on why your waifu is 2deep4me. What incredible insight have I failed to get?

The people talking about her earlier weren't complaining about the lack of a character quirk or some shit with her though, just that they didn't find her character arc itself all that interesting or convincing. You can understand a character arc and still find it boring or unsatisfying too, you know that.

She had such a sad home life and it manifested as an oddity. That's what sets her apart from the other girls as unique and interesting :^)

Wow, so deep I almost shit myself.

Nice argument there buddy, you sure showed him.

Not to mention that Kizu, Owari and Zokuowari are really the only seasons that are 'about' Araragi himself as a character really. The rest is way more about the other girls and their arcs, typically being viewed through Araragi's eyes.

Who has the biggest tits?

She's batshit insane.

What were they trying to say here?

>character struggling with self-loathing kisses herself
Hmmm.

>and her design in anime is fucking ugly
I'm going to end you

...

flat
Flat chests only belong on lolis. Any older and it's just sad.

The issue is that she was raised by people who didn't raise her at all, so she learned by just reading books. She is literally going through life either guiding herself or having terrible guides.

Her best examples of normal people are a guy who deludes himself into thinking he is monogamous and vows to die with some other girl despite planning to marry his girlfriend, a hobo adult who shits on her nearly all the time who legit believes her parents had good reasoning to abuse and neglect her, a friend who puts on the face of someone normal, but inwardly has many issues with self-eteem with her boyfriend and sacrifices too much of herself for him, and had friends in the past who whenever she confided in them, shunned her instead of offering any helpful advice.

The fact that Hanekawa came out of accepting her emotions and is trying to do good by the disenfranchised should be something to be applauded, not call her autistic.

Hate sexing yourself

That's how I fap

You could diminish pretty much every other character like that as well, though. Its all up to taste, if you don't like a character from the outset, you tend to find more fault or dismiss them more easily.

What she brings to the table is the fact she has pretty good insight in comparison to the other characters and offers quite good advice. The main problem is that Nisio often uses her as his answer man or a mouthpiece, and her hero moments are understated even though in reality, she kinda deserves Araragi's admiration because she often is really helpful. Its why the Nips call her the background or "shadow" heroine.

Doesn't help the anime cut out a lot of the jokes and cajolery she has with Araragi, or the parts that showed between her arcs on she was trying to find an answer for herself to deal with her emotions and the stress that her parents would never change.

They also cut out important bits like Senjougahara's dad telling her how proud of her he was at the end of Tsubasa Tiger, so a good deal of context that builds on these characters is missed.
