Some more Inumaru Dashi and Bad Boys.
Wanna work on some scripts of Seigi Keikan Monju that I have but I never get the time to.

where is the CITY
you said there'd be CITY

What?

We built this CITY~

It's like Nichijou but in a CITY

where is the CITY bill

Anyone familiar with NPAPI here? Would it be possible to make a browser plugin that would allow you to select a canvas on a page and dump it in its current state?

Anyone in the mood to translate or straight up scanlate this? It's rather short and I'd love you forever:
nhentai.net/g/156337/1/

Could someone translate boku-tachi ga yarimashita? It's completed, consisting of 9 volumes, written by the author of Jagaaaaaan. Holidays are around the corner, so I should be able to ts it and try to cleaning/reading the scans.

>reading the scans.
Meant redrawing

Too late, people have seen through you now.

Somebody teach me how to use the ebj ripper please. I managed to add it and it does start, but afterwards it just flips the pages without ripping any of them. I have firefox auto save enabled so I don't know what else to do. Is it already broken? I got the one released earlier this month.

Can someone please translate/scanlate chapter 2 of kusuriya no hitorigoto? The first chapter was already done by another user

my.mixtape.moe/mxnhen.zip

where's the user who wanted this?
It's done, but i don't know who the translator is, and I wanna say thanks in the credit page

There was a new release this month? I must have missed it. My copy is from late April. Looks like both of our versions are outdated and they changed something again.

I'm here, thanks for work. The name is Fakul.
Also, I had noticed a mistake. In page 34 Maria should be Mary.

Someone please translate this, there only 5 chapters left

So this is now a /r/ thread?

should i upload this to bato.to or just the mega link?

Both, Sup Forumsnon

Still don't get the difference between "was" and "had been".

Here's the most recent thing I finished.

Anyone see any typos or errors?

Oh well, at least I tried. Sorry guy from last week.

I was the one who recommended it, thanks a bunch.

>0003:
Shouldn't it be "my impatience", rather than "my patience"?
>0004:
"How unusual" doesn't really sound natural in comparison to the rest of the dialogue.
>0006:
"If you're happy then I'm happy" -> "If you're happy, then I'm happy"
>0008:
"Aren't you the one who picks out all our costumes, you .." -> "Aren't you the one who picks out all our costumes? You ..."
>0010:
"Now um," -> "Now, um,"
>0013:
"Getup" is one word, not two.
"Sun" shouldn't be capitalized.
"All the moreso" -> "All the more so"
>0015:
"I hear when you find ..." -> "I hear that when you find ..."
>0017:
I would give one bubble to each of the sentences in the top panel, as opposed to splitting the first in that awkward way.
>0023:
"If someone thinks that was shameless then ..." -> "If someone thinks that was shameless, then ..."
Middle-left text reads really unnaturally. Dunno what you can do about that.
>0025:
>"Umi-chan, in that case, I'll only wear it for you, 'kay?" -> "In that case, I'll only wear it for you, Umi-chan, 'kay?"

There're more, but nothing as notable as these.

Page 17, the last panel has an "I" too many.

>in the line that says "Not sure how I could have missed that"
heh

...

It just got done, going to be uploaded soon.

Oh, you finished TS to ch 4 already?

Nope, I could only get started today, only have chapter 2 so far.

Okay then, i should probably work on more chapters then. How many do you think you can get done in a week?

I'm going to be pretty busy these next two or three weeks, so I don't think I'll be doing more than one or two chapters per week. After that, who knows.

Do you have an email I could contact you at?

No, it's "my patience". That's a really common idiom. Just Google it, you'll see.

Page 8 is fine, that's obviously a rhetorical question.

"Moreso" is really something that's up to debate.
grammarist.com/usage/moreso/
Get up as well, but I think I'll just change it to "outfit".

On 23, she's speaking awkwardly in the first place because she's flustered.
On 25, she actually says Umi's name at the start of the sentence.

>On 25, she actually says Umi's name at the start of the sentence.
Japanese grammar and English grammar aren't the same thing. Do you put every verb at the end of the sentence because that's how they do it in Japanese?

Yes, I do.

No, but where you place a name in a sentence in inflection of its importance or mood of the statement.

There's a very fine line between trying to recreate the mood of a sentence in another language and just making the characters sound autistic.

Still hoping someone will pick this up eventually
mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=123419

Neither way sounds autistic.
Using buzzwords like that really doesn't help you look smart.

>scanlation threads have just become EOPs begging for stuff to be TL'd

Wew~

Yeah, I too miss the days when it's just 5 people being autistic over the littlest of details that most people don't care, in addition to EOPs beg for things to tTL.

anyone know what the bottom font is called? I'm translating something that be perfect for the moans

That's handwritten, not a font

>No, it's "my patience". That's a really common idiom.
No, it's not. Not in the way that you are using it. She is referring to her absence of patience, so it is not clear what you mean unless you modify it to "my patience, or lack thereof, ..." or something to that effect. "Impatience" is correct. Google it yourself; you will not find an example of the word being used in the way that you are using it there or any phrase resembling it. I know what I am talking about.

>Page 8 is fine, that's obviously a rhetorical question.
What? Rhetoric has absolutely nothing to do with it. As it is written now, it is a run-on sentence.

>"Moreso" is really something that's up to debate.
>your link says "moreso gained ground in the late 20th century and continues to appear despite the disapproval of usage authorities and of spell check"
By the same right, "fleek" is a legitimate word.

I really should know better by now than to try and actually talk about scanlation in these threads.

I like how you just took the first thing you saw on google and tried to use it to support your argument.

Okay, look. You seem to think that "patience" must by default mean "have a lot of patience". It doesn't. Patience is defined as the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. Capacity can either be high or low. And of course, exact meaning, whether high or low, is derived through the context which it is used.

Thanks for letting me know I should just full on ignore you.

uhh, I'll see if I can get a throwaway email

No shit. It's not her capacity that is the problem. It is her absence of capacity. Prefix "im-": absence of; not. She did not have patience.

By-the-by, most (if not all) of the linked pages in your image are British. So, then, if we're allowed to use uncommon regional set phrases, then I guess there's nothing wrong with me writing "大丈夫です" as "things will be all cherry" and "傘" as "bumbershoot" in my scanlations. After all, they're not technically wrong! If you believe they are, you must simply not have a proper handle on the language. I'm going to throw a fit and ignore my critics any time anyone tells me that I might be wrong. That is the correct course of action, by your apparent line of logic.

>"傘" as "bumbershoot"
I'm going to find a chapter where the characters talk about umbrellas just so I can do this now.

Is any group going to pick up Poro?
It ended with him having child

>trying to imply anyone who disagrees with you is throwing a fit
Haha. Thanks, I knew I was correct for ignoring you.
And you're objectively wrong about everything you said, but it's clearly not possible to reason with you.

Ho, you da kine bah. You da kine.

>I guess my [low capacity] patience is getting the better of me...
Was that so hard?
Now stop being obnoxious and shitting up the thread.

Isn't it easier to just add 2 letters instead of like 12?

You're an idiot.
"low capacity" is not actually in the sentence, it's shown through the context of the statement.

You know what I find amazing? How pretty much anything can derail a thread, as people are always literally autistic about trivial things.

The novelty wears off pretty fast once you've spent enough time on Sup Forums.

>autistic bickering over really minor issues in a yuri manga
Hmmm.

Will I get sued if I scanlate a Rustle work?
He's actually got a copyright for this unlike most of the doujins I've seen.
Actually, is that the reason why I can't find translations of his latest c90/c91 works?

Literally everything that isn't a doujin that gets scanlated is copyrighted.

Isn't he on Patreon offering english translated works nowadays?

If that's the case and it's a work that hasn't been TL'd, maybe the user can go and talk to Rustle and offer to TL for free to be released under the creator's channel.

I don't think I'm qualified for something official like that.

I'd be surprised they haven't been ripped from there yet if that's true

Yeah, but isn't this guy "up there"?
What if he has hired goons or something similar?

I have tomorrow off, anyone have pages that needs cleaning?

I feel like this is a terrible question to ask for every thread. A lot of scanlators are going to be working on long running series, and you're not really going to get any discussion from us with that. Maybe "how's your releases coming along" would be better.

Does anyone have the raws of the magazine ガンガンJOKER from 05/2017 to the most recent?

It's just digital raws but I need layers to be duplicated, bubbles to be scrubbed, light leveling, resizing, and conversions from png to PSDs that are compatible with cs2
That or I need to figure out how to write scripts

I feel like this is a terrible answer. A lot of scanlators are not just working on a single series. But
>> "how your releases coming along"
It's a start

Now that bzland is down,
where do you guys get your raw?

I take it you don't know about Photoshop 'Actions'?

Soon like within a few hours or soon within a few years?
When I say soon, it means within an hour or 2.

Nah not really. Don't know why figuring out Photoshop things is so hard for me. It's probably because I'm using a super old version and a lot of guides are for the newer ones. Really throws me off.

Same places I do now, manga zip and other places.
Shame about bzland though, what happened?
I just realized this happened.

Someone posted a bounty for this a long time ago and it sat around unclaimed for a long time. Then someone came and claimed it so presumably someone was working on it. The bounty is gone now and the doujin isn't on the panda so I guess the guy never delivered. I never claimed the bounty and I only did like 2 pages. Its the first thing I attempted to typeset and I'm sure its ass.

Try to avoid typesetting so close to the edge of the bubble.

Thats all I did

Also decrease the spacing between the text lines. Very common typesetting mistake.

alright I figure this would be the best place to ask, but would anyone be willing to do a high quality translation of the original Ranma 1/2 manga? all that is available online is Viz's shitty release from the 90's

...

Thank you, I saw the automate batch options but was never sure what I could do with it.

Can actions be bound to a keyboard shortcut?

I don't know about newer versions, but for CS2, you can bind em to F2-F12.

yes

I've been working on changing the text on this girl's clothing.

That has an official translation, why even bother.

>putting so much effort into shitposting
Scanlation autism hit yet another new low.

>Terrible gook group with ESL translators and beyond terrible typesetting is having trouble with a series I like
>Their last gap between releases is fucking 4 months and they're looking for a translator

Fuck. I kind of want to just snipe it but I don't want in to the scanlator drama and I'm not that much of an asshole yet.

Just join them or tell them you want to pick up the series, that easy.

You really did a splendid job on this tank Dame Ningen.
Did you use Ai for the titles or just Ps?

Just do it, man. Unless either your group or their's are big enough for actual fallout to happen (not just "hurr, they sniped our series, boohoo, we were juuuust about the release a chapter (lie), they're a bunch of meanies"), there shouldn't be any problem.
We're all in the piracy business, so who really cares if a series gets lifted or not. If they have a patreon or something, then fuck their patreon. It's non-profit, so they can suck an ass.

Just release it and ignore them if they start any drama.

I'll email them and see what happens I guess. I don't want to be a meanie no matter how shitty I think their work is.

By the way, what series is that?

You should be able to guess based on the details I gave but Mikakunin. I'm also working on the authors' other series so it would be nice if I could work on this as well.

It's not really that obvious when since that could apply to a bunch of series.
Didn't they just release a chapter today?
Though, I agree, their TS is shit.

They released one today and the one before that was February. It's a fucking 4koma with 10 page chapters. Even my lazy ass can do slightly faster than that.

I see. I think their problem is that they have way too much on their hands for the staff they have.
I'm only working on 3 things (with 2 of them with at least 500 pages in backlog for both of them, one is relatively easy to typeset despite some tight bubbles sometimes and the other is a complete redrawing nightmare at times) right now and I have another on the backburner (not really popular, I'm not really interested in it and it's sort of a bitch to work on too.)
I doubt I'll work on anything new in at least a year unless the thing I'm not behind on gets finished/cancelled.

I think some people don't think about their work rate or workload when they pick series. I've had a good rhythm lately and I'm pretty happy about it. I've been doing at least one release a week for about 2 months. Hardest thing is to wait for TLs though. I can get a 30 pages chapter TLd and edited in 2 days while a 10 page chapter could take a month.

>they have way too much on their hands for the staff they have
Why do they even keep doing this? Seriously, it annoys me why so many groups pull this shit.

On a tangentially related note, so fucking glad japanzai is dead.

Picking up new series is fun. Keeping up with series is not fun.
