Hakase is ultra shit!!!!!

In heaven, all anime looks as good as Nichijou

join the club

it never gets better

>there will never be a season 2

Literally end my life, it still hurts

I don't want to go to heaven

what's wrong with her feet?

New City chapter out

>Put off finishing it for years because I knew there was nothing left
>Finally finished it
>Empty

People talk a lot about the animation, but I think that nearly every part of this show was masterfully crafted: the sound design and music, the seiyuu performances, the writing, etc.

is it called SHITTY in japan

I have a PhD in anime and I can confirm that this is indeed true.

My favorite parts, unironically were the character building scenes.
>The storm with Hakase and Nano
>the friendship coupon
>the yukko vs mio fight
>The ending scene where Nano accepts being a robot
legitimately well crafted scenes

Nano is cute cute CUTE!

Nichijou was pretty great.

how does it fare compared to nichijou? looks like nichijou but in college and less characters

>worst girl
>literally creates best girl

how does that happen?

I would almost definitely agree with you if it wasn't for what might be one of my favorite animated things ever: that silent card house building scene. It was like something out of an old cartoon, and directed perfectly.

That said, I definitely agree with the character building moments
>Mio accepting that Sasahara wasn't going to go out with her
>Tachibana and the arm holding/glasses breaking thing
>Literally everything involving the two teachers
>The IGo soccer club and the two kids "practicing" together in the end
>The entire OVA (which wasn't as funny as the series, but very warm hearted)

takasaki and sakurai were the funniest scenes to me, seeing both of them spill spaghetti was hilarious. it was awkward romance done right IMO

>I have a PhD in Anime
Fuck off weeb

Bought a Hakase nendo recently for cheap at around $50. Couldn't resist the offer seeing as they probably won't rerelease her. Now I just need to find Nano at affordable prices.

>t was awkward romance done right
Definitely
>that scene where Takasaki fought with himself to not take her graduation photo and failed.

>Finding Nano under 80 bucks
Impossible. Even getting a Hakase at 50 is difficult.
I wonder why they won't rerelease them.

>I wonder why they won't rerelease them.
cuz the show was a flop ;_;
i bought a copy of vol 1 of the manga for fun, its pretty cool

>;_;

I'm just glad Hakase was the one to come with Sakamoto. Will fit nicely with my double collection of Nichijou manga (both Japanese and English).

>tfw Yukko will never be your purely platonic female friend

>better than K-On

Yeah, I don't think so.

nichijou has better girls

It's a very close second, then

>I watched Nichijou everyday.
> I feel like every other anime is a step down

...

what the fuck was hakase's problem

What did I miss about Nichijou to make me not like it as much?

what?

I guess some of the humor might've seemed too "lolsorandum" but definitely not all of it was.

I want to fuck Yuko

are you retarded...

None of the Nichijous are for lewding
>...
Are you?

Don't you have a ball of yarn to attend to Sakamoto?

it was alright.

Did folks who liked Nichijou's visually exaggerated humor also appreciate the animation gags of Ninja Slayer on the opposite side of the spectrum?

I can only speak for myself, but absolutely. In both cases the animation becomes part of the humor, rather than simply being a vehicle for the show itself. Whether it's Nichijou's really wonderful and fluid animation, or whatever the fuck you want to call the stilted thing Ninja Slayer does, the animation is used to explore more, for lack of a better way to put it.
