This shit isn't fun at all though. Most of the ''humor'' falls flat, the action is quite messy, the characters are shit and the art is bad. If you want to read edgy fun seinen you can always read better manga like firepunch, Jagaan, Gantz , goblin Slayer etc. I think even Terraformers and Tenjo Tenge are better than this one. Most people here aren't memeing you, this is actually quite awful.

The only popular seinen outside of flavor of the month shit on Sup Forums is Berserk. There is also some ecchi trash like To Love Ru, but porn was always popular on this board.

I dropped Goblin Slayer after like two chapters. But I think I like Murcielago mostly because it's about lesbians. Goblin Slayer would appeal to me more if the goblins were lesbian rapists.

That's the point, each of those series is very flawed, but still fun in an edgy yet campy kind of way. This one is just shit, the level of self insertion an amateurish characterization is just baffling, like it was written by a literal teenager who had the creative part of her brain surgically extracted.

Speaking of yuri, I'm sad that Virgins' Empire isn't more popular. It's a genuinely very good yuri slice of life. Currently it's probably my favorite one.

I'm really confused that people want an anime of this. I understand that people want to see it get more attention but I feel like it would lose most of what people like about it. Unless they do an OVA series with it I feel like the "over the top" nature of this series would be removed with a 12-13 episode series. Plus the censorship would be insane.

Not really, I just think the fundamental problems with this stem from it's awful writing. The series i mentioned all have at least one entertaining character at least, this one lacks even that. Also, each of those had a more elaborated setting, Murcielago's is just plain bland and dull.
