what does this have to do with capitalism? you can be in a communist society and throw away things like a retard
99%? what?
? I still have shit from when I was 16 I never throw out presents.

Guess it takes one to know one? Keep consuming goy.
Capitalism I's the enemy of all people. It strips you of pride, family, community, and tries to sell it back to you.
...
>you must be retarded if you there are only two options
>actually there are three
>99%
Yeah I'm sure that's an actual statistic lmao
Tfw my jacket was bought for 50 dollars at a military surplus store. And was the largest purchase I made clothing wise this year.
Lol
Honestly this. National socialist is a decent idea but not a practical one because humans have I'm hierarchy and greed
I will certainly defend it from the violent suppression you wish for, but I do disapprove of a lot of consumerism. Especially, the consumerism that's paid for by money that was forcefully redistributed through the state or was acquired due to beneficial laws.
>what does this have to do with capitalism?
Consumerism is incentivized by capitalism
Who said anything about violent suppression? I just think consumerism is degenerate
Nuh uh bitch.
My family always recycles all our paper and our packages. My mom also re-uses heavy duty gift boxes for all her presents. She looks forward to bringing out the boxes every year.
100% of everything will end up in landfills, it's called planned obsolescence. so technically the image is right

yeah, these stupid communists keep burning my money. it's insane. I don't even wish them merry christmases anymore.
No because the image says within 6 months
This system is the best system we've created so far, its not perfect but every other is either complete shit or has straight up failed.
>This system is the best system we've created so far
t.56%
That's what non-capitalists usually end up doing (when they get into power) so I jumped to conclusions.
yeah well fuck off
you wanna fight or something faggot? jeez
No it's not. What incentivizes consumerism is devaluation of currency and low interest rates, which is anti-capitalism.
>is devaluation of currency and low interest rates, which is anti-capitalism.
In what way does the devaluation of currency and low interest rates takes the means of production out of private hands, abolishes private property, and abolishes wage labor? I'm kind of lost...
I just want you to pay attention, faggot
TWO chairs?!
nihilistic consumerism is a result of a moral failure more than an economic failure. people buy new phones every six months because it provides them with the illusion of progress that their political and spiritual life has failed to provide
>Black or white fallacy
Just because it's not pure communism doesn't mean it's capitalism.
Devaluation of currency means stealing the savings of the productive, which is then used for redistribution of wealth towards the unproductive. 50% of what you generate with your means of production is redistributed with society which means you don't even own the fruit of your labor.
Private property does not exist because everything is usufruct, nothing truly belongs to you.
Your company? Try not paying taxes.
Your house? Try not paying land taxes
Your car? Try not paying circulation taxes.
Your life? Try resisting prison for not paying taxes.
You just have the right to exploit the company you created, but it can be expropriated from you at any given time if democracy so wills it, there are some countries that grant you somewhat this won't happen but nothing is truly written in stone when there's democracy.
Leftists will never see it because they're brain dead, but we're way closer to their fantasy than we are to a Capitalist's one.
The U.S. is not a capitalistic country. Our central bank doesn't let bankrupt corporations go bankrupt. Capitalism means survival of the fittest, not too big to fail.
>Devaluation of currency means stealing the savings of the productive, which is then used for redistribution of wealth towards the unproductive.
Ergo capitalism. One of the main critics Marx has of capitalism is that it takes away the fruits of labor from the productives (i.e. workers) and gives them to the unproductives (i.e. owners, shareholders...)
>50% of what you generate with your means of production is redistributed with society which means you don't even own the fruit of your labor.
and a even larger percentage is distributed to shareholders and owners
>Private property does not exist
hmmmmm. So your argument is that it is not real capitalism because your perfect, untried, special snowflake form of capitalism has not yet been tried! hmmmm, really makes me think!
So we should put niggers under our Christmas trees?
>What is recycling
Back to gulag, komrad.
The owners and shareholders are the ones who assume the real risk in starting a business
As a worker I will be paid whether or not business is good
Also, it's as though you're paying every worker twice what their salary is as soon as they set foot on the premises due to the incidental costs of employing them, liability insurance, benefits, etc.
The "oppressed workers" didn't pay for the land, pay to build the facility, buy the necessary equipment, etc
communist theory is so reductive, are you all just lazy and entitled, or do you know deep down that you have nothing of value to offer society? Both?
I try to get only get what I need and repair it instead of replace it when possible.
That sounds like a statistic from a well researched study put out by a credible organization.
Give me consumerism over starving to death in a Gulag any day.
>source pulled from OP's loose and flappy dappy asshole
Yeah, my nephew and niece's trust funds can't be put under a tree nor at a landfill.
Also, what idiots make of their limited resources is their problem. Our problem is that they have far too much resources to waste, a large part of it is un-earned.
You. I like you.
> workers
> productive
> owners
> unproductive
> not owning some stock in the company you work for
Communism wouldn't end consumerism. It's literally the same garbage as capitalism, except "the workers" own the means of production. So how does worker owning it prevent consumerism? It doesn't.
The left cannot rightfully say they oppose consumerism because their entire complaint is that they are not able to consume at the same level as the rich. They oppose unequal consumerism, not consumerism per se.
