Why hasn't there been one good deconstruction of battle shounen manga yet?

Why hasn't there been one good deconstruction of battle shounen manga yet?

HxH

you can't have battles if everyone is talking all the time

Medaka Box comes to mind

what about a reconstruction?

O

Deconstruction is for fags

MY

boku no pico academia

Because it is for young boys who wouldn't notice it anyway.

RUBBER

What about Pluto, does that count?

NEN

And who said it's for someone to notice? It's supposed to be something implicit.

Can't they just destroy it already? Each is more boring than the other one, plot armor and asspulls (or "conveniently placed power ups which may or may not have been foretold in some obscure line on a filler chapter 3 arcs ago") make it predictable. Yes, the journey may matter more than the destination, but still.

What do you mean by deconstruction?

It means that your battle manga has more words and rules, instead of just hitting each other. Look at One Piece vs HxH or Medaka Box. In the end the good guys win all the same, but one seems more like reading an actual book.

With how ridiculous the genre is, it wouldn't work at all while being part of the genre.
Best you can get is satire like OPM really.

Because we don't need that

Let's deconstruct One Piece!

>Luffy:
Instead of a boy facing everything without fear of the consequences, he would be a more confused boy, with doubts about his journey and tormented by the guilt of having made his friend Shanks lose the arm. He also would not be so gentle, after all, he is a pirate, and pirates are criminals.

C'mon, help me here.

It takes months to get anywhere, women aren't allowed on the ship, a ton of the is gay ripped sunburnt and diseased, everywhere they go they must rape.

Nah

Well in DBZ

Gohan would be completely dysfunctional and hate his father while the stockholm syndrome relationship with Piccolo would be explored more.

Goku being a selfish cunt would have more repurcussions, and he'd be an antihero instead.

Vegeta probably would've raped Bulma to conceive Trunks.

Bulma would have to have been molested as a kid which is why she was such a whore early on. In fact she probably settled for Vegeta because of his bad boy status and her severe daddy issues. She ended up dumping Yamcha because she was enticed by him being a "bad boy" when she first met him but is actually a complete softie and loser.

You're not supposed to watch many series of this kind, just a few when you're 7-15, maybe stick with some long runners that you want to see finished. If you still like it later and want to watch more, it's alright, but if you don't, then it's your own fault for expecting something it's not supposed to give you.

When he needs to replace the ship with a better one and Usopp refuses, Luffy orders Zoro and Sanji to tie him to the ship and set both on fire.
>This is being a captain!

>Gohan would be completely dysfunctional and hate his father while the stockholm syndrome relationship with Piccolo would be explored more.
Kind of like Kenshin's son in that OVA.

>Vegeta probably would've raped Bulma to conceive Trunks.
who said he didn't?

Honestly, I'd like to see something like Bleach's fullbring arc, but taken to extreme. So we start with kinda awkward boy who's ridiculously /fit/ and good at fighting. Later we learn through dreams and flashback of terrors he experienced that he was typical student-turned-shonen-hero who gave up his powers to defeat ultimate evil. He's unable to finds himself back in normal life and with lacking anyone to talk about his hero life he starts to question his memories and sanity. becoming more and more unstabl with every day. Only then does he meet a shady individual claiming he can help him regain what he lost.
