Article 2 states Carter Page met Podobnyy (Russian Spy #2) in early 2013
Damn it's not 1 for 1 sync up then because neither article states when Page met Sporyshev, or when the FBI employee met Podobnyy. If the nytimes article had said Page met Sporyshev on X date and the reuters article said the FBI employee met Sporyshev on the same date, or vice versa with Podobnyy... then we'd have 100% proof.
There's still a chance Page was just caught up in this and caught by the FBI employee, not that he was the employee. Might be small chance but it's there.
