Why didn't Dragon Ball just end after the first season?

I feel like I am the only person who liked every stage, even fifth. I really enjoyed this race especially with AVE Maria playing in the background

>fixed headlights on an FC

COOL VIBRATIONS

>AVE Maria playing in the background
Is this a real thing that happened?

Was perfectly fine up through 3rd stage.

Yes, and the Shinigami will come for you in a GT-R.

The later stages kinda taught me a lot about racing techniques and cars and general. They are a good manual, if anything.
Also, they added a lot of BPMs to my playlist.

literally kino
fuck off OP

Yes, later stages were purely /o/ material so it's normal for anime folks to dislike it. Especially since they're nothing left but races and autos.

Why doesn't initial d get proper BD releases?

I liked all of them too but the newer ones are lacking eurobeat and it hurts, its like they made what was seriously but also fun, purely serious
life kinda works like that but I didn't want to be reminded

Gateway to pure /o/ fetish porn. Shame that car anime is a dead genre.

It was good until 3rd season.
4th stage was bad and 5th stage was okay.

pretty much this

Wangan Midnight is based. Really gotta take it off hold

MWAHAHAHAHA

I WANNA DANCE

>Shame that car anime is a dead genre.

I always wonder why it's such an under-done genre. I think an anime about actual circuit racing could be really good, make it about a bunch of quirky characters running a race team on a shoestring budget and you'd have a real winner.

>Shame that car anime is a dead genre
its not too surprising though considering most people in japan can get around without ever needing a car in most urban areas because of how good their public transit is and when stuff like scooters are far cheaper and more economical in smaller streets and stuff.
its sorta like that in north america as well only that it seems there are lots of kids who either dont care about cars or think there is something evil about them and never even get their licenses

So basically Capeta?

Even /o/ doesn't like it though, too many ass-pulls, not enough legit racing.

Otaku don't care about cars and don't have the money to buy one. Literally the only way to make a modern car anime sell would be to make it like KanColle. Which I'd watch just 911's delicious hips and Miata-chan's funsized body

The show may have not ended at first stage, but you can always not watch the later seasons.

yeah but can you not see that initial d has a cult following now? if someone decided to animate something like over rev! or that manga about a man and his feels restoring his dr30 skyline or even shakotan boogie i think the shounen fan base would jump on it.
all these kids taking public transport and riding peds cause they cant afford their classic 90s legendary jdm are all dreaming the same as us user.

Wasn't 4th stage the one with god foot?

youtube.com/watch?v=tMWdQnl27Hc

Ya. Most of 4th stage is pretty bad though. The best parts were the Gods and when Dagumi's friend got cucked.
I always liked the running theme of all the relationships going shitty, kind of unusual in anime.

>Dagumi's friend got cucked.
don't remember that. which one?

Why do people like 3rd stage? It was really forgetable to me. I couldn't care less about Dagumi's whore of an ex.

Itsuki.
He meets up with Kazumi again after she had a falling out with her boyfriend. They go on a date and she suggests they go to a hotel for the night. Her old boyfriend then shows up. Itsuki tries to be the nice guy and tells Kazumi she should choose who she wants (assuming she will pick him). She doesn't, ronry driver for life.

I legitamely don't know if I skipped it, or watched it and forgot.

He didnt get cucked tho, he was about to do the cucking...

Excuse me?

He failed twice to be a man.

This shit has inspired me to buy a pic related and listen to eurobeat while going moderately fast in my 98 ford fiesta shitbox

Shit the other stages aren't worth watching huh? Saves me a lot of time then

It used to be that the only way to improve from the terrible sealed beam headlights was to take out the popups for fixed projectors.
Nowadays, because of Jeeps, you can buy LED and HID lights that fit in old sealed beam housings.

They're not bad, people just get pissy because the first two are excellent.

The third one was way better in the manga.
Wish they had more interactions between the characters, like Keisuke bullying Takumi was great but it's only two scenes and the only time you see them discussing is the day before the final race
