Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage and the socialist stage.
What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

Killing of civilians is by no standard the mission of National Socialism, and while regrettable things may happen in war under any government's watch, the NS government's have a wide reputation for good treatement of prisoners and host populations, as well as an abiding respect for the territorial claims of honorable and legitimate nations.

First of all, you're mistaking National Socialism for World War II. Second of all, you're ignoring the fact that the Third Reich was well aware of the Soviet's intentions to invade mainland Europe. The Ostplan was an attempt to handle a post-Soviet world as they envisioned it. With themselves as the victors.
It is without any doubt that much pain and suffering undergone by the Russians during the Soviet era could have been totally negated, had their run away autocracy been quelled by Fascists, whose primary interest in Russia was to settle it with German communities, and developed it's infrastructure further. The Soviet government was a monster, and Hitler did not pretend that that was a true "government of the people". It was a government of Stalin and the Soviet elite, and they made a mockery of socialism with it, all whilst drenching both Russia and Europe in worker's blood.
