The car is inside the shuttle.
Do humans burn up and melt inside a shuttle?

Fucking retards.

...

>t. brainlet

>yfw you realize the spaceman is actually a dead body

elon is hiding his kills in space!!

Jeff Bezos hasn't been seen in public for a while...I think Elon put the body in the trunk.

It doesn't look like it's inside a shuttle.

There's dead hookers in the trunk

So basically the car is already entirely burned now.

here is the actually post

no, the car that got exposed to space radiation and high degree sun spots didn't melt at all

The station is stationary with one side always facing the sun. The car is spinning so that each side warms up and cools down in intervals without ever getting to extreme temperatures.

both of these are wrong, I wrote up a longer explanation, but accidentally hit back while proofreading it.

Here's a tl;dr for why the car won't melt and why the example of the space station doesn't work.

The roadster is not heating up because it does not have any atmosphere to trap heat. Yes the car heats up to about 300K in space, on the side that is facing the sun. Without trapped atmosphere slowly rising to 300k, the side of the car that is not being heated up creates an equilibrium and transfers the energy created by the heating effect out of the car and into the vacuum. This means in effect, that the car is a balanced energy state and will not burn.

The space station is not a good example because it does have atmosphere which would trap heat and create an imbalance of energy.

Retarded post is retarded.

>one side so cold that the hot side doesnt melt
user

Yes.

It is literal retards who are saying that the roadster will get too hot in fucking space.

I could look it up but you seem to be a bit more informed on this. What happened to the heat shield that would have protected the car on the way up? Is there video of it moving out of the way?

>"how come the car doesn't melt in the heat of space hurt durr"

What is carbon fiber...

Are you some kind of homosexual ?

Where do billionaires even spend their leisure time? for all we know he is probably in his rape dungeon.

The car IS the shuttle.

A small, thermally conductive blackbody in a vacuum will generally radiate roughly as much as it absorbs (though rarely in the same wavelength band). At a distance of one AU, solar irradiance is about 1370 W/m^2. The surface area of a car is 60 sq ft (cut that in half since only one side is illuminated) and you get an incident power of about 3800 W. Since the car is thermally conductive it can radiate heat across its entire surface.

Applying the Stefan Boltzman law for blackbody radiation and you get that the car will balance power absorption and radiation at an equilibrium temperature of about 330 K - that's about 58 C or 136 F, hot, but not so hot it would melt the car. And that's ignoring things like the reflectivity of the car, the albedo of the paint, etc. It's probably closer to 100 F.

The reason why temperature is such a problem for missions in space has more to do with internal heat generated by electronic and climate control systems - you're adding more heat on top of what you're already absorbing from the Sun, which means you need more efficient ways to radiate heat away.

You guys want the real answer? Some of the outer crystal structure of plastic is melting, but because of the fact that no forces are being applied to it, it is not deforming significantly.

t. Aerospace Engineer

I think it's cool anyways.
Reminds me of the opening to Heavy Metal.

In a vacuum or near vacuum objects will continue to absorb heat when exposed to direct sunlight due to the fact there is no atmosphere to carry the heat away. Objects in space are receiving light that hasnt filtered through the ozone, clouds, dust and smog so it is more intense than what you would feel on the hottest of summer days. Once an object is heated the vaccum of space becomes the ultimate insulator. A perfect vacuum is not hot or cold. An object that is not exposed to radiant heat will slowly cool due to molecular friction, not because space is cold.
Before any retard argues this first turn off your CPU fan and then construct a vacuum chamber around it.

There's an abundance of reasons behind elite upkeeping the globe Earth conspiracy.

Disempowerment of humans. Making the existence of God appear unlikely or extremely distant. Scientism prevents humans from asking questions, and trying to prove or disprove things for themselves. Did you know for instance that no independent researchers are allowed to go to Antarctica? That no planes fly over it? Ever wondered why?

Reasons for existence of space programs on Flat Earth also are many... here are some.
1. Infinite moneymakers.
2. Divergence of attention away from Earth.
3. Sustaining the illusion of Earth being a globe through cgi and fancy cinematographic tactics.
4. Further taking their agenda of feeding us what is fake instead of what is true, and grounds to testing out just how much we can be fooled.

Inb4 this thread "randomly" disappears.

The car is the system upon which heat energy is being added. The different components of the car have different specific heats (Cp), and will raise temperature at different rates, but if the OP is correct that the sunside is 121C, then there are a fuckton of kJ running through it. Yes, the energy will also try to find equilibrium, and the heat will move around, but 121C is 121C. Shouldn't melt metal, but there should be signs of heat damage.

t. Process Engineer

What you are looking at is CGI. There's no reason to overthink it.

They left the car's AC on obviously you fucks

3 ways to transfer thermal energy, conduction, convection, radiation. Not touching anything else so no conduction, not atmosphere so no convection, however it still radiates.

Anything above absolute zero radiates energy in the form of light. Look up black body radiation. A vacuum is not a perfect insulator for this reason. Your molecular friction makes no sense because in a closed system with no other way to dissipate energy, friction would generate as much heat as it takes up. Energy cannot be created or destroyed.

Bezos is in the driver seat

I live in Texas and have traveled the desert southwest. I've seen 20 year old vehicles there that had very little sun damage to their paint but anything made of plastic was faded/warped, especially the interiors.
I wouldnt expect the metal fenders or hood to burn but the plastic trim should show some amount of heat damage.

the heat shouldnt do anything considering the effect of the vacuum of space on the transfer of heat

>implying those plastics melt at 200°C
They may soften or weaken but remember there's pretty much no fucking gravity where the roadster.

If you're confused, just ask a fucking question instead of turning your retardation in yet another "conspiracy".

Full of gay cocksucking faggots that actually believe the the vacuum of their boyfriend's mouth which sucks their cum away. Go back to /sci/ where all the other cocksucking faggots are.

the car is probably treated with paint that is much more reflective
some heat is also lost through radiation

>An object that is not exposed to radiant heat will slowly cool due to molecular friction
>molecular friction
On that scale all collisions are elastic. Do you even know what causes friction?

...

...

Was waiting for a burger to inevitably humiliate himself.
Thanks

Funny how the larpers ignored your post

fagglot

I know jack shit about how temperature works in vacuum but the car seems to be in costant rotation between shade and direct sunlight so wouldn't that mean the temperature can't simply get high enough to melt anything?

>yfw you realize the dead body is David Bowie

space has air.

The whole car was solar insulated and has a revolving orbit like a top specifically for that reason. Eat a monkey Brazilian.

funny how your boyfriend has been waiting for you to suck his cock for only 2min

>can dissipate heat in vacuum
>can't dissipate heat in atmosphere

You are a brainlet that shouldn't explain anything.

>Meme flag to go with a meme theory

you are retarded, sorry

>Anything above absolute zero radiates energy in the form of light. Look up black body radiation. A vacuum is not a perfect insulator for this reason. .
.

You're correct about radiant heat cooling an object in space.
Molecular friction is what would eventually stop a bell from resonating in a perfect vacuum.

>A vacuum is not a perfect insulator for this reason.

Not perfect but the most efficient. Imagine wrapping your computer's mobo in foil with no fans. Imagine wrapping your computer case in foil. Now put it into a vacuum chamber. The foil has a near zero effect since their is no air to transfer the heat from the case to the foil. Heat would radiate from the board to the case and then from the case to the foil. Heat reflected from the foil back to the case and then back to the computer's internals would be miniscule. That is how effective an insulator a vacuum is. Not perfect but highly efficient.

This is wrong. The reason the car didn't burn is because it was spinning, so one side never faced the sun long enough to heat up to the point of melting.

you're ass is treated with your boyfriend's (((paint)))

Thats actually correct, but should it melt? Direct sun flow at earth orbit is about 119 celsium degrees.

Except they never went past the van allen belt, retards.

reaching THIS far to explain away the obvious:

It's bullshit. And only the boomers and Gen. X'ers believe these lies. NASA has been discredited, so they are creating another agency to continue to lie to the masses.

true, if the eaf was spinning and you jumped you should land several miles away

were you spinning your ass so that your boyfriend's cock didn't heat up too much?

it has air conditioning so it doesn't heat up.

checked

Kekistani retarded faggot

246.2 Farenheit, some one boil water (212 F) and pour it on their Tesla's plastic trim. Repeat for a billion years.

Pretty much. /sci/ is invading with their pseudo-physics

Science user is correct.

Flat Earth theory is stupid until someone tries to prove it. If the earth is flat, it can easily be proven, even without going to antarctica.

You sail around the "coast" of antarctica and measure how far it is. Then you travel along the equator and measure the length.

If the earth is flat, sailing along antarctica should be about twice as long as following the equator. If the earth is round, following the equator should be about twice as far as sailing along antarctica.

In other words, the difference should be very clear. Do that, and you have proof, one way or the other.

how many times did he suck your cock for you to make this post?

>if the OP is correct

Devil's in the details

Lurk more.

Your're just a a ;cocksucking faggot who keeps on sucking blue balls dangling in the nothing of your mouth

Space is cold.
Giant radiators to dissipate heat on the ISS.
Pick one.

science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2001/ast21mar_1

Why won't any flat-earthers do this? Because they are selling books and stuff based on their scam. They don't want proof. They want to be able to make people doubt, because if people doubt, they sell more books.

interdasting...

Interesting. You should prove it.

>believing this fake shit

youtube.com/watch?v=dm7S8aXQJ4I

Dude i dont think flar earthers have the means to a)jet around the earth in a private plane or b) sail around the world for hundreds and hundreds of days

What I want to know is:

If the moon is 38 Million miles away, how the fuck did the shuttle already pass it two days ago?

Secondly, how are they able to send ANY photos or High definition video that far away? It's impossible. The best 5GHz wifi only lasts a couple of hundred miles....maybe.

For one thing 200 degrees Celsius isn't all that hot. It's under 400 degree Fahrenheit oven temperatures.

For another, the source doesn't state that it would reach 200 degrees C, but 250 degrees F (121 C), which is barely over the boiling point of water. The materials should tolerate these temperatures quite well.

On top of that, it is shiny and spinning. Spinning means parts get roughly equal time being heated by the sun and radiating to the utter cold of space. So what you get is approximately the average between that 121 C and -157 C: around -20 C, a cold winter's day.

>and in other news the plain trying to prove flat earth mysteriously disappeared near antarctica
hehe what a coincidence goyim

we and we alone pummel mohammed's asshole, cuck

They should send Eddie Bravo.

Youre just a CIA"NIGGER with a nordick proxy; earth is flat; go reasearch it yourself instead of sucking cocks; maybe then you wouldnt be cobverd with cum all the time

I'm honestly surprised nobody has started an outrage yet over the fact that spacecrafts are white on the outside just to reflect sunlight.
It's really hurting intergalactic POC representation if you know what I mean.

this is a joke right? the train is moving fast in respect to the earth and atmosphere this the smoke billows backwards. the atmosphere is also moving about the same speed as the ground because of friction and momentum, thus the smoke goes upwards.

you could've done this same retarded thought experiment by asking "why doesn't the wind always blow at thousands of miles an hour"

>(((Space)))

>replying to flat Earthers
