Because they're too stupid to realize the country ball meme had reached cancer status long before they ever got their hand on it. It started to go down big time when normies ignorant of history failed to understand the whole point (poking fun at the historical event which surrounded the given comic in a satirical and open minded way, was genuinely funny because it didn't pick a side but shat on both) and instead tried to replace the historic accuracy with lolrandum and popular knowledge.
