>tfw casualty of society

A weird yet simpler time

How much I miss it

I'll never fall in lineeee

We're in too deep now boys...

>TFW never wanting to fall in line

Same as now, except the music was better and the neocons and religious right were fucking everytthing up.

youtube.com/watch?v=dk2o8I3mp9c

with nostalgia. i miss the days before obama's damage to america

The music was pretty bad then too.

It was shit, but a little less than now.
I miss pre 2k1,
I do miss the net demographic of the early 2000.

It was the best decade for skramz and video games.

The internet wasn't yet infected by normies. You could actually go online to escape normies back then.

I miss the time
I was fucking young and didn't worry much and had no clue about geopolitics. Now I'm

Generation shit. The music was shit, the attitudes were shit, the people were shit, the generation was shit. Absolute shit. Shameful.

>occupy wall st

MODS. UNDERAGE B&

how does a thread like this get made a couple times a week/month?

with the same sum 41 pictures

is this board some kind of social engineering experiment?

Used to spend so many nights playing dynasty warriors, gauntlet legends and perfect dark with my brothers. Listened to simple plan blink 182 new found glory before going to middle school. Racism didnt exist so much either. I miss it

This
Today the internet has been infested with normies because of shit like facebook and youtube, but back in the day pre 2000s or REALLY early 000s, the internet was a geek and techie/gamer haven.

Dave "Brownsounds" was an underrated guitarist. Listen to the song "Bitter End" for an example.

Man, I instinctively hated that brown guy without knowing why

the only thing I can think of that was kinda nice was the fact that my town was still somewhat white in the early 2000's.

I remember the tail end of that. It was a paradise. It changed after 9/11 slightly. Then changed more in 2005/2006 where it was half normie, then by 2009 or 2010 the internet was taken over by normies.

Identity Politics were not a thing yet.
I found it was much easier with the different races back then

>2000s

its pre 9/11 and post 9/11 everything else doesnt matter.

true. I remember CS in the late 90s was never infested with normies. Nearly everyone you met was a pretty sweet but more importantly intelligent individual.

elementary school was lit, senpai

I was unironically born in 2000

See this

This entire website is a social experiment, ever since MOOT went to work for the social division of the big G.

what a weird time. i don’t know why people get nostalgic over that weird shit

>tfw 2000 was 6 years ago

...

Popular music turned to shit by the time 2000 hit. Then Bush became president and fucked our country up even more. At least we now have a decent president finally.

I was a huge sum 41 fan and him and the drummer Steve O were the coolest. They were really funny but Dave is probably a full on sjw now days. I'm too scared to find out because I looked up to him.

I agree,Tom Green was absolute shit so thanks for that

They were shit. Maybe societal rot wasn't as apparent.

I just pirated Sum 41's greatest hits for my car USB. Pretty good and holds up

The entire time period from the late 90's to the present has been a gigantic cringy shitshow that I'm disappointed to have been alive for. I could have been born during any fucking time period at all and instead I had to come into existence just in time for the world around me to become, as a whole, everything I deeply hate trying to destroy or take away everything about life that I passionately love. At this point I am working my ass off trying to advance my career at breakneck speed with the hopes that if I make enough money now, I can at least spend the last half of my life in solitude far from civilization in the deepest reaches of Alaska where I can just check the fuck out of society and never return except for hospital visits, births, weddings, and funerals.

ya think?

and OP is always "1 post by this ID" and then immediately fucking bails and never comes back. SAGE.

The late stages of the 90s and early 20th was so grudge and radical, a reaction to maybe the space left from the 80s, were shit went all out. Padded shoulders, cocaine, bright colors; how could their children surpass this? Rebel against the traditional values as they are taught in their marxist schools? It was also the time where advertising went insane, and globalism hit the stage for good. Internet and cable tv put the whole of America into our living rooms. Before 2000, every culture was kind of different, while now everyone tried to be most like the american ideal they had seen on TV. This is what they were looking for, pure degeneracy so bad that even their 80s parents wouldn't get it. And look how it is today, it is changing so fast you don't notice it. Slowly the culture is being conditioned into more and more strange behaviors. Remember your little sister dressing up with slutty clothing and idolized britney or christina aguilera, even pink? Perfectly normal. Remember when people though justin bieber was a faggot? Today all the boys try to look like him, coincidences.

Don't listen to anything after Chuck you dumb nigger.

I miss being bluepilled

>tfw chad from nickleback steals your wife

I used to have all of their albums.
I like screaming Bloody Murder and Underclass Hero

miss that times

Underclass Hero is dog shit. SBM is okay. Chuck is like a new good Metallica album.

You know mongoloid people are really happy and could have fun with a rock all day? We were sort of like that.
We were the same, we were uninformed, didn't know much about war and threaths, the only black people we saw were on tv. They're on every corner now. We were bored, sure, internet then wasn't like it was now, so we used more of our time outside. We had a genuine carefree and nice time compared to now. People seem to worry alot more about things that they will never experience, like terrorist attacks. We never even thought about that before. That was "It happens in allah akbar land, it'll never happen here". That mindset is something I miss. I took a girl with me and went to Amsterdam last summer. She was scared of going to places where a lot of people gathered, since they'd be the best targets for terrorism. Driving a truck into the crowd or a car bomb were her concerns. We can't really enjoy life the same way as we used to, and it's all because of the fucking jews. They need to be destroyed, and immigration has to be set to 0, and send everyone out of this country that isn't white. Fuck this multiculti shit idea that didn't work. They're an expensive pest on our society, and it needs to be stopped.

Chuck was their best album. I only just saw they released an album in 2016, is it good?

A time that could be shitty (some music was ok, not great but better than today) as well as comfy (elementary school was 10/10 just about)
Far better than the fagginess of today, and that's not just childhood goggles talking. There was less degeneracy in the US, the gov had just begun to use 9/11 as an excuse to spy on us, and people weren't buried in social media all the time. And the dindus didn't have a mass chimp session as often
I liked it, simpler times

you know what to do

Look at how the suit styles have changed, i would say you could judge the character of a man by this:

1920s: Pinned stripe suit, gloves and top hat common
1940s: More rough, long suits in dark colors.
1950s: Removed most of the shoulder pads, suit became more conservative and plain, like the one that's ideal today.
1960s: Still based, but colored ties and light colored shirts appear
1970: Funky shit, big collars, open jackets, remove suit pants, dots
1980s: Shoulderpads, big all buttoned up jackets, wacky colors, cool sunglasses
1990: Trying to get down after the 80s, but couldn't do it. People got rich and executive, but were still kind of corny.
2000: People don't wear a suit anymore, only shirt
2010: Slim and fitted suits

user, I'm sorry that Europe has become what it is.
It's truly sad

Dave is back so the songs he obviously wrote are good, very Chuck sounding, other than those few standouts it has some of the most garbage songs they've ever made. Just fucking let Dave have more input.

is this the new 90s kid meme? kids born in 2001 will say they are 00s kids?

That man is a national treasure. He's like Crocodile dundee to Australians.

90s: no gf
00s : no gf
10s: no gf

Bald fade and skinny

Back when mtv was relevant

I was bullied in school, my mom drank and had depressive episodes which eventually led to me moving into an orphanage

So it wasn't the best of times

Music was great though

Holy Christ this takes me back Hahahaha

Not nearly as bad as now. I think 90s was the last time music was legitimately good

Well thanks to introduction of the iPhone and other smartphones normies have an convenient access to the internet instead if sitting all day in front of your CRT monitor

It makes no difference to me.

world of warcraft was sick, sucks to see it dead now.

20s: Realistic sex doll
30s: Realistic sex bot
40s: Artificial wombs
50s: Fully customizable designer baby, 100% aryan genes if desired.

The only good thing I remember from this period is Post Metal. ISIS is still my favorite band.

I saw them live with TOOL shit was dope

all killer no filler was my first self bought album can you believe that

2000 was the downfall

Early 2000's - The good old days.

Had a job making $ and was only responsible for myself.
MDMA.
Good music.
No smartphones, people still interacted instead of face in phone.
Not everything you did was posted online for the world to see.

Very cool. Maynard's been afflicted with post-election Gen X Derangement Syndrome. The latest APC single was absolute shit. There will never be another Tool album.

>after a decade on Sup Forums

I want to go back to the early 2000's and stay there forever. It was that awesome.

PC games and LAN parties were fun too.

I fucking hate your guts man

Damn, that's creepy.

I remember getting ice cream after school and going to the lake to skip stones

It was a great time for nordic future jazz. Albums like Jazzanova's In Between, Koop's Waltz For Koop, Xploding Plastix, the Swell Sessions collaboration, etc.

this was all i cared for.

Bruv these kids dont wanna know how much better the 90s were

I fucking miss the early 2000s. Hell, I miss the 2000s in general. Life was so much better. Things went to shit in every possible way for me and the entire world after 2013 hit.

>morality and restraint
>trannies and postmodernism

Music now can't hold a candle
