I used to buy into the whole "a homeland for every people" type of universalized nationalism until I realized that the main principle of nationalism is one's own people, not nationalism for it's own sake. The Jews believe in nationalism for themselves but for nobody else. We gentiles believe this makes them hypocrites but it doesn't. They understand that all they have to care about is themselves whereas we think nationalism is some higher principle in and of itself.
