But that sounds awesome?

That's why I posted it.

Hunting down monsters for components, dragon skin tires for examples.

It'd have a mix of normal battles and races.

Sometimes the cars would be used in battle as well.

Might as well goes all the way to magic spaceships and make it a fantasy futuristic setting with both lasers and dragons.
With dragon piloting a gigantic draconic spaceship with a kobold crew

an isekai where the main character is a ghost

youtube.com/watch?v=1aUl9l1O7sE

Getting kinda crazy there user, would be a fun train wreck though.

Spirit Migration, had a Manga and is good.

If you want to do something, either go all the way or forget about it.

he's not really a ghost though is he, he's some thing that can mind control monsters also he has some autistically mary sue powers

Cute girls spelunking

I don't really agree, it loses any degree of seriousness to it then.

Not the atmosphere I'd aim for, but certainly not bad just not the route I'd wish for.

Cute girls doing parkour

MC is reborn as a catgirl in national socialist mesopotamia.

mite b cool

A full adaption of Thomas Pynchon's Against The Day, should be at least 100 episodes.

I really like this idea as long as they don't do any of that spooky claustrophobic shit. I can't deal with that. If it's some big Mammoth-type caverns I'd dig it

>One of the girls gets stuck in a crevice and dies

A guy isekai'ed into Konosuba-like (or anything lively, really) world, but with a twist:
He got like 3 weeks to defeat demon king otherwise some awful shit happens to MC (Curse? Disease? Cosmic horrors that want to devour him?). Got no cheats.
Speedrunning to gather as much supplies and magical equipment possible to defeat the Big Bad ensues.

You think that a drag queen in another world making cars out of monster-droppings has any degree of seriousness to it whatsoever?

An Isekai where an extremely successful high school idol (girl) is reincarnated into a fantasy world where Sup Forums is the whole internet as a random user (guy)

Cute girls staffing a full construction firm, from architects to the brick-laying grunts. They all look young but the grunts can still lift like the best.

>Driving in a straight line for a quarter of a mile
>Racing
Pick one.

>a shonen where the MC starts out over powered and slowly gets weaker as the story goes on

Drag racers and drag queens are completely different things.

>Civilization gains access to dimensional portal technology
>Use it to host continent-spanning races on primitive fantasy worlds without permission or warning
>Isekai Redline

Isn't that happening to this guy very slowly?

An isekai where a literally gay is trapped in the MMORPG world. He is instantly surrounded by harem of cliche girls. He tries to pick up every edgy villain that appears. But harem beats all of them, because they think MC is fighting villains to save the world.

A boy falls in love with a girl.

Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

I would watch that

What a classic

Already a thing.

>Spirit Migration, had a Manga and is good.
Just finished the manga in one sitting. The ending was fucking retarded

An isekai where a cute idol is transported to a violent/grimdark/hardcore fantasy world and the story follows her path as her innocence is crushed and spirit broken until she grows into a brutal amazon. Bonus points for functional armor, strength training, heavy weapons and lots of battle scars. Bonus points if at the end of her quest she returns home and is unrecognizable.

An isekai where everyone is kniggas.

An isekai where MC is a huge conspiracy nut and people actually believe him.

Isekai thread?

Here's chapter 4 of my isekai.

pastebin.com/YSGBjwdy

I love BlazBlue

>Not cute idol goes into a violent grimdark fantasy world and turns into a black metal musician as her idealism is crushed.

One job, user. One fucking job.

Ans isekai, but instead of a fantasy world, the setting is cyberpunk future.

>You want to know how that last part happened? Listen to my story.
Tidus, is that you?

>MC go spelunking, falls in a hole and gets Isekai'd.
>Has no gifts besides a very sturdy body.
>In order to find a way back, he is going to search every cave in this new world.

>Jap F1 star get isekaied into a universe with a galactic racing series
>f-zero tier crazy shit on a bunch of different planets
>cute alien girls etc
>he proves himself on a GT academy sweepstakes type thing at an arcade and gets picked up by a team and so the story goes

Isekai where the "MC" gets killed about five minutes in and the show focuses on some badass warrior or something.

You You Hawkoohshow

>kingdom pissed off the BBEG because reasons
>prophecy tells them that the hero that can save them lives in another world
>start summoning people at random from other world because they figure they'll eventually get the right guy
>MC gets summoned
>isn't the guy they wanted, so gets told to fuck off, no way back home
>world filled with people just like MC now
>becomes an adventurer or something
>BBEG shows up, hero still hasn't been found
>MC and friends take up the mantle
I don't have anything after this. Maybe the real hero shows up and steals all of MC's credit or something.

About time, and she's fucking hot.
Superior genes from her mother are visible.

Is that mah boy orsted in the background?

...

Yeah, it's the volume they fight against him.

...

...

Cool, really dig him
Shame he didn't get more chapters in redundancy

Okay, I'm done posting best.

>Isekai where a Christmas cake school teacher is transported to a bronze age fantasy world when she attempts to halt the attempted suicide of a student.
>The whereabouts of the student from the MC becomes a mystery. The student survives, but is off learning how to survive on their own and going on adventures.
>The teacher is warmly received from the masses.
>Her arrival was foretold etc. etc.
>She helps progress their technology from what she studied in ancient history.
>Helps them understand everything from improved agriculture, electricity, sewer systems and other infrastucture, the existence of microbial organisms, how different ores can smelted and make alloys and even things like how to make fried chicken.
>They in turn teach her a lot of how ancient civilizations worked and end up dispelling how certain misconceptions made their way throughout history.
>Show can switch from the light educational aspects to the adventure driven exploits of the wandering student.

Thanks user

An isekai where the MC is transported into a perfect fantasy world, then transported back to his world an hour later. The rest of the show is him trying to recreate the circumstances that sent him into the other world, much to the dismay of his friends and family who think that he's gone insane.

>MC used to be a grunt in a W40K esque setting
>Died in a horrible way in a forgotten planet
>Gets rezz into the crossroads of all isekais, full of people like him from all over time and space
>Spends his days in peace being a gate guard dealing with chuuni japs and drinking with his lady friend at the bar in the night

Anime by white fox after vol 5 screencap this

Are there any isekai that are actually good?

Heard a lot about Mushoku Tensei and something called Kumo Desu Ga but I haven't read them and just from the brief summaries they sound kind of generic

>haven't read them but they sound generic
Bookworm
Eliza
Release that witch
A hero's war
Faraway Paladin best of the entire list
Spider is great if you like grinding but MTL will fuck your shit up if you try to binge it
MT is good but the protag can turn some people off so beware, it also isn't full of metagaming stuff like menu and stats.

konosuba? but mainly because it makes fun of all the things that other isekai do also it was fortunately written by a woman so instead of feeling like a harem it feels like an actual group of loser friends which actually makes the comedy work

>konosuba was writen by a woman
how little ye knows
youtube.com/watch?v=nn_J14D5Pg8

>what is Made in Abyss
One of the girls is a robot shota but close enough

An isekai where the truck is reincarnated into a Mad Max style post-apocalyptic fantasy world.

Truck-san (upgraded with machine gun turrets and waifu gunners) and his driver become heroes for running dangerous supply routes.

Isekai about a private investigator and the criminal he is chasing both being sent to another world. The criminal takes over a group of bandits and slowly starts climbing through the fantasy criminal underground, while the inspector continues chasing him no matter what.

oh well,Sup Forums told me that multiple times so i believed it, still it is nice to see a japanese guy who knows how to write

at least im 90% that the creator of deadman wonderland is a girl, right?....

i feel ya brother, i also fell for the meme cause i really dig rance and kazuma pretty much is a non h version of him.
Yeah, that one is confirmed.

>it plays out in real time like 24

Comfy town guard chronicles has been a long time fantasy of many Sup Forumsssholes and fa/tg/uys.

German U-Boat commander goes down with his ship only to be plucked by the Hand of God to do His work in another dimension. He becomes master and commander of that world's unterseeboot armada to fight off deep ones and lobster men.

Plot twist, the commander can't read or speak the language so he just fucks around yelling and pointing at shit to get things done. His voice is done by a natural German speaker and the rest are stupid jap idiots.

The Konosuba is written by a woman meme stems from the author's designated self inserts being female.

Which is a terrible indication of gender because all LN authors want to be the little girl.

I'm getting Youjo Senki, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, Das Boot, and X-COM: Terror From the Deep

An isekai where someone from non-fantasy medieval times comes to the present day where he tries to become a technological wizard.

>Rance was written by a woman

Partly yeah.

TADA is the main man behind Rance and the father of the Rance series and the overall director of the plot. He is male though the artist for Rance I (YUKIMI - a girl) was who decided that Sill should be a slave.

Two other people had a lot of influence in writing Rance since the early 90s - Tori and Purin. Tori is a woman and Purin is male. Purin is actually responsible for Rance having a really strong male cast beyonds just Rance and Patton effectively being the second protagonist of Rance IX is because of him.

Tori was the main writer for every game in that she helped develop the plots and write dialogue. She is who people refer to when they say Rance was written by a woman. In 2009 she left Alicesoft but until then she was the main writer for Rance games (with TADA still being number 1).

Since 2009 its been an all male writing team for Rance.

That's some real nice trivia there user, thanks for sharing it.
always cool to actually know who's behind the shit i like.

Isekai are the lazy man's attempt at good plot.

Cute girls doing blue collar manual labor

trapped in a video game anime but the game is a fighting game

Cute girls stuck being spectators for a fighting game and the whole show is their commentary and interactions. Kinda like Joshiraku, but there's a street fight going on in the background.

Isekai scooby doo

...

when will it end

I love it

You mean film or something?

>>They in turn teach her a lot of how ancient civilizations worked and end up dispelling how certain misconceptions made their way throughout history.
If it's a parallel fantasy world how can they actually dispel any misconceptions about the history of the cake's world?

...

An isekai that starts off as an isekai, and at some point the MC chooses a girl, they have kids and it stops being an isekai as the series starts to execute the Jojo formula.

Thanks user, appreciate it.

That guy in the second panel almost looks like that monster in Amnesia.

Isekai starts in magical world but the MC is hit by horse drawn carriage and reincarnates into modern day Tokyo

That's shit give me mechas instead

What does isekai contribute besides wanking? Fantasy wacky races is already good.

>MC is literally hitler
>he didn't suicide, instead he's sent to a medieval fantasy land
>make a magical race war like right NOW
>race war is justified now because there're always chaotic evil races there

>i'm just a simple serf trying its best to not die in the winter

new favourite anime

underrated ideia

Recursive isekai.

Drifters aired 3 seasons ago, user.

>it's the volume they fight against him.
was that really a fight
