more like the Syrian army funneled them into Idlib to have them do the hard work for them and soften up the rebels. ISIS are rats, you throw a piece of cheese and they'll follow, except in this case you show them a living human and they'll go to kill it.
If Syrian Air Defense Force deploys their S200VE at DeZ airport, they can ground the USAF in eastern Syria. I think after Afrin is dealt with, Erdomeme and Assad/Iran can make the burgers leave.
Daniel Murphy
How many sleeper cells does Hezb actually have inside Israel do you wager? The Israeli's themselves said that military information was being leaked to Hamas during the 2014 war on Gaza; and then there's the constant pictures of Imad Mughniyeh in settlements and Israeli military bases that keep surfacing
Henry Thomas
Syria simply aren't in a position to ground the US air force, neither are the SDF in a position to ground the russian air force, the political power at play would never allow it

Downing a single plane is not even close to grounding the air force of a great power, the two are so far apart it's almost comical. It would take enormous effort from turkey, russia and iran to even attempt this, and it would be liable to only further escalate the situation with little gain.
James Roberts
They don't let them give speeches apart from what the Israelis themselves read through and edit, then give them to recite like a script. If anything, I'd be more fun to give an Ahmadinejad UN speech denying the holocaust, that shit was hilarious.

Israel attacked Lebanon in 2006 thinking that Hezbollah was going to be easy to take out in their hubris. They ended up losing a large chunk of their tanks; they also never fully reported on their losses, they instead only gave a trickle of what they lost, however them putting their president at the time in jail after the loss of the war is a huge indication that they lost more than what they let on.
Also the Syrian army did help out in the 2006 war by sending soldiers, and weapons to Hezb. IRGC soldiers also took part in the war, and some rumours say that it was Soleimani's planning that let to the victory.

Luis Phillips
>That isn't changing their policy to war my man, that's admitting defeat.
well after their pullout of Iraq they changed their policy towards war into the current proxy system, or what the Pentagon calls "war on the cheap." I don't think this policy shift came about until the U.S started suffering substantial losses.
Even currently in Afghanistan, the U.S soldiers have to take a helicopter from the airport in Kabul to their military base due to the abundance of IEDs that litter the highway. The base isn't even that far from Kabul is the thing; constant losses seem to be a recurring theme in how the U.S is conducting its policy currently in Syria
Cameron Campbell
I think the american public will do whatever they are told at this stage as long as they agree with the leader of the country.

That humiliation is on par with the fucking 67 war suffered by the Syrians and Egyptians. Also, in order to cover up the heat signal from being traced by Israeli jets, Hezb used a literal $1 tarp to remain undected throughout the course of the war.
$1 vs. 10 billion.
