AfD WILL overtake SPD in the next 3 months and become the second party of Germany. It's not a question of if but when. How can FPTP dickheads justify FPTP now?

Parliamentary politics should be about Parliamentary Representatives, unfortunately we have a retarded electorate and we now have Party Politics. Rotten electorate Rotten politics
Aiden Powell
Where do AfD range between UKIP and the BNP?
Grayson Long
The problem has, and always will be, the electorate, regardless of any system of apportioning their choices.
Adam Jones
Entries are closed now. Good luck lads. If I win I'll give you all £10k each (apart from the tripfags)

If you win the jackpot I'll kill myself. When is the draw?
Jaxson Jackson
FPTP has worked for centuries, all any other system will achieve is a gridlocked legislative.
Jason Jenkins
Draw takes place at 8, but results are out about half 8 I think.
Eli Howard
yeah i agree. i mean with blaming the electorate
Landon Williams
It does seem unfair to put it all on the electorate. It's not like our system is very good at giving everyone an equal impact on the outcome of elections. Most of the electorate have no impact on the outcome. They get the politicians they are given.
Zachary Ortiz
F at least let me put on a party before you go
Asher Evans
>implying he wouldn't slip us a cheeky mil
Sebastian Rodriguez
cool id
David Gonzalez
Oh you're asking if the government is responsible for the rotten electorate or if the electorate is responsible for the rotten government? They only way we could have a rotten government is with a rotten electorate, they're merely and extension of ourselves and what we allow to exist as is the way of our system of state. >Something something cultural revolution >P.Hitchens
Robert King
Knowing my luck he'll win and I'll be forced to go through with it to save face. It's been fun
Aiden Harris
Just do away with the public. Problem solved
Ryder Taylor
Lots of reasons, but a couple that I think are key:
The U.S is the ideological home of multiculturalism. The shared English heritage and language helps explain the ease and eagerness by which U.S media is consumed by our own nation. With regards to how this negatively affects us and not European states, their individual native languages have helped isolate themselves to a degree. It is harder to infect a culture where you do not share a language; the norms and subtleties take longer to decode and take effect. English is the 'global' language and it shows; every English speaking nation is quite far down the path of ethnic collapse.
Second large reason is religion. European Catholicism has historically (post war) been more steadfast in not capitulating to the cultural left. The Anglican church was infiltrated decades ago and welcomed the revolutionaries with the church doors open.
Why can't I blame both?
Lincoln Evans
Buts that's not true at all, if the electorate gave a damn then any MPs who represented their views would dominate the elections. But that's just not true, we've been boiled down to an Americanised system of popularity based party politics. This is a side effect of Americanisation of Britain as a whole.
Jordan Sanders
you can but you didn't
Elijah Brooks
Oi. This the one and only time I ever apologise to you, so print the fucker out and frame it
Matthew Kelly
You don't have to do it. People lie here all the time.
>any MPs who represented their views would dominate the elections. There's the catch. They have to be offered those MPs by the parties.
Zachary Bailey
>. European Catholicism has historically (post war) been more steadfast in not capitulating to the cultural left. *50 posts of spam*
Hudson Rogers
the electorate are like a flock of sheep who've been shepherded wrong for many reasons and by many institutions, I don't blame them for being dickheads.
Jeremiah Taylor

Parties want to win and if all they had to do to win was field MPs supporting electorate views then that's what they would do.

Landon Parker
it's just too easy
Evan Butler
>and if all they had to do And there's another catch. The have to do more than just support the views of the electorate. For a start it's not as if the public as a whole have any single thing they all support. And then you have the problem of public interests versus vested interests.
Henry Carter
ill buy a whole row of deanoboxes, every post gets a barratt, you all have to live next door to each other tho suicide optional

I've gone over it a few times in the past, but as a culture and a society we are fractured. Opinons and views are all over the place and they're cemented by the fact were individualist and not held account by our communities as they hardly exist and they can find enclaves online, just like this. With such varying views the only catchment area for votes is a wide a net as possible into the centre.
Carter Price
True. Religion "capitulating" really has nothing to do with it considering Christian egalitarianism is driving force behind modern day leftist policy, even if it has been somewhat perverted by the left
Evan Thompson
Why include me? I gave to only sensible answer.
