I recently finished reading Kolyma Tales, and I'm now a decent way through pic related.
Holy shit. How could ANYONE want to live in a communist state? Was Red Terror and the use of political prisoners as worthless and completely expendable gold-mining drones a phenomena that could only manifest itself in a slavic shithole? Did similar phenomena arise in China and the other asian countries that adopted gommunism?
Why the fuck would you want to live in a communist state? Each human life is worth nothing (unless you're part of the upper echelons of the party bureaucracy, even then it's pretty sketchy) - you exist to fuel the state apparatus. At least in a Nazi state the state exists to support YOU and your ethnic brothers.
Is that not a fantastic book? Most people who document things in that kind of detail write text books, not page-turner literary art.
Hudson Edwards
>worthless and completely expendable gold-mining drones a phenomena that could only manifest itself in a slavic shithole You mean like slavery? And yes communism is dogshit. Water is also wet.
James Jackson
This whats going to happen in the west over the next couple decades. Prepare yourself accordingly...
Justin Morales
I only made it about 200 pages into volume 1 before putting it down. I can only put up with a dozen or so extremely similar anecdotes about people being treated in horrible ways before it loses its impact. It was definitely enlightening learning how shitty it was to live in Stalin's USSR but there were times when I'd read a passage and I could've sworn I'd read that exact same thing 30 pages ago
Lincoln Morgan
Gulags were based. They sent degenerates and jews there to be worked to death.
Mason Collins
You kind of have to work your way up to getting through it fast enough to keep track of the bigger picture and how it moves from one topic to the next from chapter to chapter. But it's a real relief after trying to get through like Antony Sutton or Carol Quigley or even sometimes Zbigniew Brzeznski or whatever else.
Thank God I was made to read books all the time and forced to write essays and derive analyses all the time both in school and at home. In retrospect, I firmly believe that parents reading to their children at an early age is among the most important things they can do.
Levi Smith
>Did similar phenomena arise in China and the other asian countries that adopted gommunism? It was even worse in China. They didn't use gulags because they would just kill anyone who resisted on the spot, and literally the entire population was put to forced labor doing the most stupid, self-destructive shit possible to the environment and economy. Mao was an imbecile.
Kayden Ortiz
That's because he didn't document anything. He was a CIA puppet who wrote fiction for boomer cons.
Jacob Robinson
Just finished this myself. Russia had a pretty incredible culture until leftists took control and systematically obliterated their intellectual and artistic class. Life in communist russia sounds like literal hell. Just the sheer amount of artists they killed. It makes me lol, because I can see it happening again, but this time in the americas.
Julian Gray
Um no sweetie, the white christian russians were sent there by the jews.
Brody Nelson
>imbecile That's intentional. It wasn't even Based Yuri that did it for me, but rather The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America by Charlotte Iserbyte (another long, often tiresome book) who finally got me to realize that it's not about punishment or work or extermination but rather psychological warfare. They're re-education camps.
As was discovered when the FBI was still concerned with defeating communist infiltration vis-a-vis the Weather Underground, their principle concern was how to liquidate the estimated 25M people in the US who wouldn't want to go along with Communist revolution.
Blake Edwards
"boomer cons" are effectively the useful idiots of Trotsky and his remnants who attempted to flee the purges of Stalin.
David Ward
kys cummie
Levi Ross
No, it was a lot of homosexuals and Jews sent there. And (((intellectuals))).
Yes, that's why they employed anti-Stalin writers like Solzhenitsyn.
Aiden Gutierrez
Uncle Joe wasn't exactly a nice guy, either. You have to look at the broader picture rather than falling for Trotskyite-Alinskyite personality cult tactics.
Samuel Sanders
"Yuri" (not his real name) was also a CIA agent, who promoted the CIA pet projects of feminism and racial integration.
Matthew Watson
Here again, if you make "CIA" your bogeyman then you're falling for Jewish Tricks once again. For CIA 101, I would recommend, "The Secret Team" by L. Fletcher Prouty. The foreward is particularly enlightening.
Juan Roberts
The destroying of Russian intelectual class is a huge reason why Russia now is in such a poor state. I mean, what can you expect when you kill all the non-retards.
Jason Taylor
Well, he wrote this from the witness testimonies of I think like 200 of his fellow inmates? He wrote down all their experiences in secret, along with his own. The work is not really supposed to be entertaining, more like a chronicle of the horrible shit that happened so there's a lot of repeating incidents. Probably because he wanted to really tell us how common these horrible things were.
Jordan Morales
>Uncle Joe wasn't exactly a nice guy, either Yes he was. He was the best possible outcome of the jew coup in Russia. And he singlehandedly set the NWO back decades.
Samuel Johnson
>Mao was an imbecile thankgod
William Garcia
It worked in Cambodia, too - another great success story! :D
Jace Wilson
Same thing happened in Cambodia
Luis Hill
>if you make "CIA" your bogeyman then you're falling for Jewish Tricks once again No I'm not. It's a documented fact that feminism and racial integration were CIA projects.
>For CIA 101, I would recommend, "The Secret Team" by L. Fletcher Prouty Garbage nonsense.
Samuel Thomas
The USSR actually had a lot of art and culture. It just couldn't overtly attack the political establishment.
Kevin Taylor
>BACK 2 (((REDDIT)))
Connor Nguyen
>As was discovered when the FBI was still concerned with defeating communist infiltration vis-a-vis the Weather Underground, their principle concern was how to liquidate the estimated 25M people in the US who wouldn't want to go along with Communist revolution. wat
Aaron Hernandez
While it was leverageable for the better, that hardly warrants attacking the messenger with no better message to supply - very typical tactics of the Luciferians.
Nolan Rogers
You're preaching to the choir talking about how shit communism is, here. Should try /leftypol/, there are plenty of retards there who think it's a good idea.
Notice too how those who support it never think they'll be a farmer or factory worker, they're all chief planners or have some job relating to the meme degree they have.
Obama got his political career started by this gang of domestic terrorists.
Gabriel Carter
I agree. Already read pic related. You can't tell people what they shouldn't do - they never listen. They have to experience the horror themselves to learn. The west will decay, and the yellow bugmen will inherit the Earth. I hope we have a white Mars colony before that happens, but it's not going to happen.
Bentley Morgan
that image is a strawman
Caleb Long
>propaganda >art Only in muttistan
Dylan Gomez
>Nazi state the state exists to support YOU Top fucking kek
Nice try kike. You won't read half the shit that happened in the world in history in textbooks, and if they're there, it's disney tier shit
James Murphy
Cambodia is great today. Pol pot did the right thing
Jack Turner
Would you care to explain how? I have known many communists in my time, and none of them have ever envisioned themselves as factory workers after the revolution
Jack Miller
All people pro totalitarism think they are going to be the ones in power.
Camden Morgan
Fuck you
Hudson Robinson
Yes, a work of fiction corroborated by Capitalist pigs...and Eastern Europeans...and Russians...and other Communists...
Liam Perez
Have you been to Cambodia? I've only been as far as the border. The Vietnamese were very careful to not let me accidentally cross over, and these were people generally receptive to Communism as a perverse sort of nationalistic political movement, notwithstanding how you can still see the long-term differences between the north and the south.
Jaxson Harris
He was not even Russian. He was just a standard American nigger-lover.
Oliver Sullivan
>jews sent jews to jail
Nice try kike
Angel Roberts
>Luciferians Retard detected
Noah Roberts
It certainly wasn`t the wealthiest country in the world, but the culture and science was pretty much flourishing. Plenty of important writers, painters, poets and scientist were living during that time.
Xavier Thompson
How many blonde haired, blue eyed young Aryan men did Hitler send to the concentration camps? (drafting them for war is another point entirely)
Colton Rogers
Go back to your rice fields.
Jonathan Morris
Keep doing your research. I thought it was retarded when I first heard people saying that. But it is very fundamentally Luciferian. Read up on the story of Lucifer and trace what we call Judaism in the modern day back to its roots.
Leo Rodriguez
No. I could have gone there from Thailand, but went to Laos instead. Still, I know enough about it to know that it is a great place. Pol Pot cleansed them of all degeneracy and it still carries on today.
Jose Powell
not even the huge amounts of deaths reason
communism just objectively doesn't work as history proves, lol
Nolan Johnson
That's too bad. The food is much better in 'Nam.
Jason Thomas
>1910s, 20s, 30s I'm talking about with purges.
Eli Thompson
>could only manifest itself in a slavic shithole?
No, it is a communist feature. You see a capitalist gives an incentive to a welder to breathe toxic fumes and to a miner todescent to a deathtrap, communists give the men zero incentives, so they have to force them at the gunpoint.
Isaac Thompson
The appeal of communism isn't based on wanting to live in a communist state. It's just about wanting to overthrow the current state. Compare the sections of left theory dealing with activism and revolution with those dealing with the ideal state. There's practicallynothing about realistically implementing the ideal state since they actually don't care about that. The only thing they can find to do if they happen to be successful in revolution, is to carry on the revolution in the new state, just keep attacking the same enemies, which is the terror.
Charles Perry
Like killing a fuckton of birds because they 'stole' corn.
Tyler Gray
Now read "Two Hundred Years Together".
Henry Bennett
This book should be part of the school curriculum
Jose Cox
>How could ANYONE want to live is the better question
Solzhenitsyn says that the Jews who participated in Russian revolutions were effectively apostates splitting from the spirit of tradition. Solzhenitsyn emphatically denies that Jews were responsible for the revolutions of 1905 and 1917. At the end of chapter nine, Solzhenitsyn denounces "the superstitious faith in the historical potency of conspiracies" that leads some to blame the Russian revolutions on the Jews and to ignore the "Russian failings that determined our sad historical decline."
Justin Johnson
Agreed
Michael Stewart
That's true. In the book they go into it in detail. All the art (under stalin) had to be 100 percent ideologically correct as well as 100 percent optimistic for the future. He had a Secretary of ideology that made sure everyone towed the line. If someone was flagged as a troublemaker they could suffer any sort of punishment ranging from losing your ration card to imprisonment in siberia. All art had to be aimed at the proles, who were mostly half retarded peasants that had no capacity to appreciate art to begin with. Science fiction was the most popular genre in early ussr russia.
Did you know that most citizens in the USSR considered the outbreak of WW2 to be a welcome reprieve from the terrors of the Commies? They actually had more freedom and aa better quality of life DURING the war.
