Has Azumanga Daioh aged well?
Has Azumanga Daioh aged well?
that line fits her character tbf
yes
yes
It's aged like a 300 dollar fine wine.
It's quite literally an Aria tier SoL. One of the very best.
I haven't seen it since I first saw it, and it was literally my second subbed anime and my first SoL and comedy, so my tastes may have been worse back then.
But I've never seen anything like Osaka, so it's probably still good.
Lucky Star was my fourth subbed anime, and recently rewatched it and it had aged great, so probably the case for Azumanga Daioh as well.
My tastes haven't changed much, so I'd probably still like it.
Absolutely
The pacing is quite bad, the characters are cute but not sexy, it lacks in fanservice. But the archetypes are fresh and pure and jokes funny. We need more Osakas and Tomos in our current era and less shitty tsunderes who try to seduce you with their cowtits and pantsu shots.
>it lacks in fanservice
you say this like it's a bad thing.
fanservice is cancer
I have never found an anime like this. I tried lucky star and hidamari sketch but they didn't live up to my expectations. The closest there was is K-On.
It was so incredibly SLOW
it's OK to go slow when you're not going anywhere
Yes, it is literally sensible chuckle: the series and is a great entry point into the medium
Indeed
[Insert Azuma apologist comment here]
Very well.
I think this is the lewdest image from azumanga daioh I've ever seen
inb4 someone dumps a doujin
Upscaled BDs disgust me.
...
yes
These tits shouldn't be that well drawn.
I would pay 1 billion dollars to become one of those fish
Hate the drawing style. Artificially cuter than Hello Kitty
>That puffy vulva
I would bring a box full of cats home to her everyday
You don't have a billion dollars.
But if I did I would invest it in fish hentai so fuck off
Osaka will always be funny.
Fucking love Azumanga.
Better than Lucky Star and its outdated references
This
Azumanga is Timeless.
>Has a timeless classic aged well?
I don't know, OP. You tell me.
I have been getting my best friend to watch it. We have four episodes left. She's loving it, and it produces earnest reactions from her, so I'd say it upheld itself rather well.
