No we don't have ancient architecture lol. And Sheikh Zayed mosque opened in 2007. What is today the UAE, was historically part of Oman. And it was sparsely populated (the population centers were at what is today Oman). Barley any people lived here due to the lack of resources. Most structures in the country are relatively new. We are a separate country from Oman because of Britain. And this place boomed after we became oil rich. We were historically Bedouin nomads. So yeah..
Pic related is the oldest still standing mosque in the country, Al Badiyah Mosque. Which is from the 14th century. Despite us becoming muslim when the prophet was still alive. So yeah this says it all.
