Why are the scans so shitty for this manga?

Back in my days, people used to scanlate on Paint, and we liked it.

Does the resolution really need to be the size of a thumbnail?

Old ass scans, scanners weren't that good, small filesizes so they wouldn't take forever to download with slow connections, access to types was harder so people used their OS's default fonts, etc.

Same thing happens with most old manga unless they have been rescanned. Only available Ranma scans used to be shitty mirrored ones.

Inuyasha is good. At least a quarter of it.

When is it ever good? terrible characters, terrible plot and it keeps on repeating itself. Even the ending is shit.

If you have read Ranma 1/2, then go read Urusei Yatsura.

Sesshoumaru should've been the main of this series.
He was more interesting than those two

Why would you even read the manga?
It was only useful to see how the series ended but now there's final act.

Because the anime added a bunch of pointless filler.

It actually did. Like a 10% of the filler was anime original.

But it was fun filler like Shippo's challenge.

Episode 79 where Jaken is the main character and tries to steal Inuyasha's sword is the best episode.

Yea, I'd take the anime filler over the repetitive manga arcs anytime.
