I liked it, getting into it I was certain it was just going to be one more shitty harem, this time with a gay mare gimmick, but then the end of ep 1 hit and I was pleasantly surprised that they were actually going for a proper comedy.

Also, misunderstandings are absolutely inexcusable when used for drama, but usually make good comedy.

Amano is a fucking casual who enjoys discussion (of games or otherwise, i.e. gossiping with Aguri) more than getting gud, and he recognizes that merely being surrounded by beautiful autistic gamer girls wouldn't make him any less of a loser.
He's essentially a self-aware version of a certain board, and I love it.

Tower of Druaga. The first episode had me in stitches with it's parody over-the-top cliche scenes and the opening itself makes it seem like it's a slice of life show.

Actually good bait and switch: where the bait was bad and the switch was good until it went back to what it was: Gungrave.
First episode was wacky sci-fi esque setting of an undead shooting monsters in a futuristic setting. But from the second episode onwards they explain how they reached that point, how two guys joined a criminal organization and climbed up the ranks until it ended up like that. The realistic part is great,
but all the monster stuff is really corny.
