ITT good premise horrible execution

ITT good premise horrible execution

>female-dominated world

Uhhhhh

How does this have a good premise?

GATE is the posterboy of this.

>oh hey, let's have a modern military invade a fantasy setting!
>that sounds great!
and it was all downhill from there

I thought the manga was somewhat enjoyable, but I couldn't make it more than a few episodes into the anime. They fucking butchered everything.

>Anime, manga, and video game characters come to life and start fighting each other
>Main antagonist is a touhou that literally gains power through memes
>Somehow the show managed to make all of this a fucking snoozefest

I'm bored to tears every episode

80% of Isekai

One Piece, do Oda even knows what the word pirate means?

Come on, user. It's one of the few shows where it being an isekai actually adds to the story instead of being a random point. The checkpoint setting is a good way to drive the story and explain how the witch of envy is controlling him, and a weak time-looping protagonist suffering and struggling to set everything straight shouldn't make a bad story. When I read the pastebins back when it started airing I was pretty hooked and thought I was going to see a great story, but it ended up with a cast of retards. I feel like the whole show went into a direction that didn't allow it to realize any of its potential.

>Premise is frontline grunts going on missions
>Actually focuses on the worst romance subplot ever and some kind of weapon of mass destruction

>Worst romance subplot

I beg to differ

At least 0083's storyline didn't revolve around the romance.

...

Dropped this at like episode 11, did it get better or at least more watchable?

Fate series

Nah. They had 50 reboots and rehashes of the same story and all of them fucking suck.

I've lost track of when new eps are happening because of the damn specials they put in-between airings. If there isn't another special tomorrow there should be a new ep and shit might actually start going down, but I don't know anymore.

To answer your question, a few eps after 11 are good, but if you dropped then it might not be worth to catch on now. Your call.

b-but the immortal loli

>Hey guys, it's going to be an unflinching look into the seedy underbelly of the idol industry.
>Three episodes in and they flinch.
>It reverts to your standard FORCED DRAMA idol anime but with 9000x the QUALITY.
FYDY

no

...

Episodes are good standalone but the wait was horrible. The battle begins today

Naruto Shippuden, take what was a pretty nice, well built world, a decent power system, and some charming, likable characters with somewhat believable motivations and then fuck everything up

>horrible execution

??? no

...

That's because GATE is more or less the GoArmy of Japan. It's all JSDF wankery throughout.

And I watched every last episode of it.

Re:Zero is literally a masterpiece.

What was Maeda thinking?

The show that made me realize Gainax is dead and never coming back.

>that map
>japan STRONK
Pic unrelated.

That isn't a very good premise, just a generic special-school-for-kids-with-powers one. Its execution for the bit before pizza sis died was actually good but then it all went to shit.

I have a horrible urge to execute a good one in her premise, if you catch my drift

That's WF for you, the WN is pretty gud. Also
>best daughteru never

Dantalian could have been great as a movie instead of a series that ended up being about 80% filler and went nowhere. The characters themselves were fantastic.

I actually don't, what did he mean by this?

Will Whitefox ever stop adapting fuckhueg stories into 25 or less episodes of anime and ending up cutting out huge lumps of story and changing shit they really shoudlnt for no reason?
For example I'm still mad about how they cut the timeleaping Nae scene in Steins;Gate and I think they don't even bother telling you the reason that Okabe can miraculously escape/not get killed by SERN in all the timelines he leaps back from is because he literally cannot die until 2025 as his death is a fixed point in time. Apparently this wasn't important enough to tell us but we still needed the episode where he goes on a date with Luka.

Cast of retards?
