Rhodesian Bush War?

Why is the Rhodesian Bush War not a common topic in most schools? Like- I didn't really learn about it until I took it upon myself to learn it?

Because the conclusions you would draw from it would go against the political agenda which is the promotion of a multicultural society free of hate etc...

I will now proceed to dump my Rhodesian bush war folder

the Rhodesians were trying to preserve a multicultural society free of hate

Zimbabwe is nearly a mono-racial society now

really makes you think.

...

They would have been overwhelmed by the blacks skyrocketting birthrate anyway

Because there are a finite number of school hours devoted to history, and Rhodesia was a fairly minor event in terms of history, with almost no consequences anywhere else in the world.

...

Yeah but learning about the consequences of racially-induced communism can really influence people's desire for the free world. Like a 1-day lesson would honestly be all it takes to touch on everything. It isn't even put in a SINGLE history book I've read.

because people would realize that blacks and whites don't mix well and that the communists will fuck whitey over every chance they get. The only reason I knew about it was because my dad fought in the bush war and my moms family fled when her town was invaded by niggers who raped and murdered people.

Seriously, we demonize communism as it is, why stop at the USSR? We could of put a globalized effect of communism and how bad it is. But nope, making whitey look good = bad

Because then they couldn't beat white guilt into the heads of the youth.
Nelson mandela would be seen as the terrorist that he was, communism would be hated, and nationalism would be the common mindset once more.

...

This. Rhodesia reminds white people that they are a race that has faced atrocities in the past, which is bad for the narrative.

Think of how manly our country would of turned out if everyone caught a glimpse at the horror of communism and race-baiting conflicts.

A good chuck of black rhodesians were ok and wanted a future though

>'we dont need any more uncle tom's in the world'

Is there a good documentary to learn about this bush war? I went to American schools and never heard of it.

suggested reading list? I want to learn more about Rhodesia

tl:dr version of it.

Doesn't really do it justice, but a quick low-down of it.

'the saints' by Alexandre Binda is a good read, just sort of a personal account of it all.

I always see pics of this and why does it seem so cool, cooler than the American

wearing 2 tons of equipment.

thanks user, i'll check it out

Because it's a completely just war. It's man v man, not this whole 'drop a $125K bomb on a $10 tent' shit we have today.

It's about the Rhodesian foot army, most accounts of the rhodesian war has to do with SAS and rhodesian special forces. It's a bit boring for a good bit of it, but getting an idea of what the war was about would really put it in perspective.

>dad 3

dump em dude

If anyone wants a good cry in Rhodesian

A 7 minutes video following a squad attacking a rebel position. Gives a good insight

okay I'll post a few

...

...

Exactly. The Soviet backed "revolutions" was essentially colonialism 2.0 which resulted in even more death and despair to the continent, but that's okay because like all communist atrocities they did it "for the people".

...

What a man. Shake your pop's hand for me and thank him. True national he seemed.

will do. He's the best man I know.

its not that important in the broader scheme of human history. School just prepares cliffnotes for you which is why you get 1-2 weeks of the entire roman empire typically.

this is written on the back of this photo

Because the (((democrats))) and the (((un))) funded and caused it. Then they watched as it burned.

Good lads

More pics of your pops man

...

this one isn't my dad. its his best friend with another guy in his platoon.

...

I think thats about it, but I have the back to this photo and you won't believe what it says. taken the night before he left for basic training.

...

>tfw wyou will never fight commies in the bush with your bros

We weren't taught about it at all, and desu I think it's objectively pretty meaningless event in history, but at the same time there is lot of selective educating going on in history classes about other meaningless topics that take time away from bigger events.

Except it doesn't mention the involvement of the globalists AT ALL. The reason Rhodesia and South Africa fell is because of global pressure and anti white campaigns. Don't let this nonsense fool you. The global order will crush free men and independant self governing nations wherever they arise.

Because there is a backlash every time any person tries to portray white europeans as anything other than colonising oppressors.

Props to your dad. My mum and her family had to get out when she was young. I've got a ton of pictures but I'm at uni right now. It's a damn shame what happened

Never forget that they were fighting against the KGB. Blacks were just their tools.

This.

Bush War was started by African nationalists, literally black supremacy groups.

Rhodesia had massive pressure including sanctions during the war.

> African nationalists
LOL

DSHK is not an African nationalist made machine gun.

I can understand socialists more for what they did. They didn't give a shit about race, they cared only about power and influence. But what was western countries' endgame when they sanctioned Rhodesia? Or when they portray Mandela as hero?

>African made
kek...like the cotton gin?

>they portray Mandela as hero
It's incredible that they never talk about his bombs against civilians which killed almost 100 people and injured hundreds.

>goes to prison for treason*killing civies*

>oy vey- he's a black marty.

because in the grand scheme of things it's not at all important. It's better to focus on the "after" of the war (modern Zimbabwe) because that's what we engage with in the modern day. Anyway, Rhodesia never existed as it was only recognized by South Africa. Should we learn about every/any fringe movement in history?

you'll have no luck trying to convince these loons
