I don't know.

It could be that only ALCA allows foreigners to stay with logicalists while the academy is only for human students. I think it's pretty clear that the principal is a foreigner though.

I believe it was because the world/gate card was stolen.
Also trance was much harsh on the logicalists and they couldn't trance wherever they wanted unlike in the new show.
