What's the most Kino scene in anime?
Anything by KinoAni
Definitely this
Kino fucking up cannibals is probably the most Kino scene
It still hurts to know that Guts will never get his revenge. But what hurts even more is the current state of Berserk to what it once was. Not to be one of those people that jerk off the golden age, but I'd give just about anything for the entire manga to release regularly and have the same quality as as it did back then.

The point of the comic is Guts learning to give up on revenge and move on with his life, edge-kun.
This shit was 2deep4me
It was a thinly veiled car ad.
If you think Guts isn't destined to kill Griffith then I don't know what to say. Although it doesn't matter because Miura will die before the series even comes close to finishing.

Your Name dream sequence was pretty kino, cutting the umbilical cord was genius

She basically died. Both of them were aware that it would happen in that exact moment.

Fuck off
BRAVO LYNCH
No she didn't, she just got a hard reset.
>removing someone personality and uploading some completely new data into a robot body isnt basically like dying
Isla is gone user, she died. Doesnt matter if her shell is being reused.
why must anime studios hurt us like this
>anime
>kino scenes
pic related is 10/10 kino. learn from the master.
shit movie
He can always model her as Isla and explain her a bit.
because japs like that drama
>this is who you are going to pretend to be for the rest of your life
Your sense of morals is great.
...
Dark Souls 3 concept art
Pretend? But that is who she was. Eventually the "pretend" becomes a reality and everything goes naturally, after all we just want a happy Isla, right user?
>But that is who she was.
No, that's who the program was that inhabited the computer before she did.
>Eventually the "pretend" becomes a reality
It's possible that the act turns into real personality, but the feeling of pretense and fakeness will never go away, for either of them.
Is there a specific reason why that moment is so iconic besides it looking cool?
>Berserk invented people in armour holding an arm up
The last 2 minutes of the 5th knk movie
Whats meant by kino scene?
"kino" is a slang used by Sup Forums. the rest you can figure out on your own.
Thanks user
I love Berserk, but I've been thinking lately about how male-centric and homosexual early Berserk was. The story is fantastic and I personally don't have a problem with this but if you look closely you can see that Miura was a hypermasculine and consequently homosexual individual in his youth, which is probably partly why he's never married.
>had a boner for Rutger Hauer movies
>Guts's sanity is maintained by a little naked boy elf whose ass is zoomed in on panels several times
>Guts is raped as a kid and this is used as a turning point in his development
>during sex, Guts loses sight of Casca and is consumed by his past, turning her into an object
>a huge portion of Casca's character, the story's leading female, is defined by rape or the fear / potential of it, and it comes up frequently; she is practically tossed around in the story as an object of rape
>the woman comes out of the eclipse with her mind broken while the man survives, albeit also broken but not to the same degree at all
>the main antagonist looks like a woman but is a man, rose to power by sexually submitting to some dirty old baron, his androgynous features pointed out more than once and being somewhat angelized
>Charlotte is an object of sex throughout the Golden Age and nothing more (Griffith's and her father's toy)
>the story is abnormally dark for manga and comics in general
Overall, there is something pathological about the story.

Hi, five
Kino is cute
Fuck off and kill yourself, Sup Forums.
This
The PS2 game got the Bersker visuals perfectly.
Utena might be the most kino anime (but nowhere near the most Kino).
97 berserk did it best.
>not a single one of the bottom 4 put the arm across the sun and the Behelit directly above the spike
How do you fuck this up? It's absolutely perfect in the manga panel.
No, just looks really fucking cool.
But they got the arm he's holding the behelit with wrong.

>>just let this guy go
Wrong. He's not supposed to let the guy go. He needs to stop ruining his own life and risking the destroy the little group he's responsible for.
>or you'll be edgy
Wrong. He's going to turn into a literal monster. It's already started.
Fuck you Sup Forums speedreader.
>He's not supposed to let the guy go.
uh
>He needs to stop ruining his own life and risking the destroy the little group he's responsible for.
resulting in effectively letting the guy go
Also
>ruining his own life
His life was already ruined at that point. His only prospects were settling with 2 kids and a dying old man on a mountain and hide in the cave so spirits wouldn't come for him.
You don't just come back for the Eclipse and start living a normal life. Casca came back, look what she's become. If anything, it's a miracle that Guts had the fortitude to do something with his life after the Eclipse, even if it meant fighting non-stop. Actually, fighting Apostles is probably the best thing Guts could be doing for both the world AND his fallen comrades.
>destroy the little group he's responsible for.
This group didn't exist until he gave up on revenge, meaning this argument is invalid
>He's going to turn into a literal monster
muh berserker armor happened after he gave up on revenge too
There's literally nothing wrong with going after Griffith and letting Casca's ass rot in the mountain. The only solution was a Puck Ex Machina. Literally magic. And Guts met Puck on his revenge trail, so it wouldn't be an option if Guts hadn't killed Apostles. Hell, if Guts didn't keep up the training, they'd probably be dead.
If you don't think Utena and Anthy kissing naked on a car was the peak of anime, you can get the hell right out of this site.
>resulting in effectively letting the guy go
Yes, likely. But not because letting the guy go is the right thing to do, but because ruining your life is the wrong thing to do.
>His life was already ruined at that point.
Casca didn't hate him yet, for one thing.
>This group didn't exist until he gave up on revenge, meaning this argument is invalid
But Guts is a guy who enjoys company. He was not feeling good during his revenge trip. Remember Puck reading his emotions? About how they were all dark? It is only now that he has new friends that he is able to feel happy again. It is only now that he is not constantly being consumed by wrath. The fury monster existed before he had the armor, remember?
If you've got a life, value it. If it*s got no value, why be angry at the guy who tried to take it from you?
>Casca didn't hate him yet, for one thing.
Casca was a fucking potato and feared him nonetheless. He slipped up ONE time and now the only way to undo it is literal magic.
>But Guts is a guy who enjoys company
Relatively. Less after seeing everyone he loved horribly slaughtered by his former best friend. PTSD on steroids supplants trivialities, and destroying monsters is more noble than sitting on your ass doing nothing.
>It is only now that he has new friends that he is able to feel happy again
That's also because he's playing easy mode now. No all nighters killing monsters. No near-death fights all the time since the witch is there. No need to fear for his companions because they all have shitty magic weapons and the tone got comical anyway.
Turn current Berserk into pre Trolls Berserk and Guts suffers just as much if not more than before, friends or not.
>If it*s got no value, why be angry at the guy who tried to take it from you?
That's retarded. Because the guy is the one who made his life miserable in the first place. You don't recover from that by sitting on a mountain and waiting to die.
>This group didn't exist until he gave up on revenge, meaning this argument is invalid
But Casca did? Remember how desperate he was when she had run away after being imprisoned for too long?
>imprisoned
By who? Not by Guts. It was the cave or dying. Guts had to find an elf on his revenge trail and a witch asspull so Casca could travel a bit.
>He slipped up ONE time
Sometimes, once is plenty.
>Less after seeing everyone he loved horribly slaughtered by his former best friend.
Wrong. He became just more wary again. He does not like being alone, but he's got trust issues.
>PTSD on steroids supplants trivialities,
PTSD is also a shit way to live.
>and destroying monsters is [] noble
That doesn't help him get happy.
>That's also because he's playing easy mode now.
Call it whatever you want. It's what Guts wants. He's not a naturally born killing machine, even if he's very efficient at killing.
>You don't recover from that by sitting on a mountain and waiting to die.
No, you recover from it by rebuilding your life. Like Guts is doing right now. Which you don't like, because you want him to be a ruined wreck only seeking revenge.
What's even your point? He failed to protect her. He regrets it.
>Sometimes, once is plenty.
That means Casca would eventually find a reason to hate Guts. She's not even Casca anymore, just a potato.
>Wrong. He became just more wary again
So realistic. He'd totally find peace and have fun with these kids right after the Eclipse. That's definitely something that'd happen because mental scars aren't a thing, right?
>PTSD is also a shit way to live.
Yeah, it'd suck if your best friend gave you one, right?
>Call it whatever you want. It's what Guts wants.
He wanted it before too but only got it because of witches and shit. It was impossible before, so this is not an argument.
>No, you recover from it by rebuilding your life.
Sitting on a mountain reliving Eclipse and remembering your dead friends every night, hiding from the monsters in a cave while they run free in the world murdering more people isn't rebuilding your life.
>Like Guts is doing right now
Guts just got a free easy button until Miura decides to kill everyone again. He didn't make a wise choice that'd result in his life improving, he found literal magic and used the elf he found during his revenge trail to play easy mode.
>What's even your point? He failed to protect her. He regrets it.
My point is that Casca wasn't imprisoned. She was in the best place of the entire world for her, barring magical elf islands that you can only find after you grind on monsters for 2 years, find an elf, find witches, find more shit and kill more monsters.
Instrumentality from EoE. Maybe Asuka's final fight too.
>That means Casca would eventually find a reason to hate Guts.
Not really.
>She's not even Casca anymore, just a potato.
At this point you just lack empathy. He cares about her. If you can't accept that, that's entirely your problem.
> He'd totally find peace and have fun with these kids right after the Eclipse.
No. His first running away from responsibility and into war is totally understandable. But he's beyond that. Now he's capable of more.
>He wanted it before too but only got it because of witches
No, he got that way before the witch. Sure, the fairy helped. But Farnese, Casca, Serpico and Isidro did not enter his life as magical companions.
>It was impossible before,
What are you even trying to argue?
I feel like you are trying to argue something really strange. Why should it matter that it wasn't possible before? The question is about the now.
>Sitting on a mountain
Why do you insist on that? Can't you deal with the situation at hand?
Right now he's mellowing out because he can. Revenge against Griffith would still be nice. But losing what he has built up so far would suck.
>He didn't make a wise choice
But he did. He allowed for others to accompany him.
>My point is that Casca wasn't imprisoned.
But that has no bearing on what's being argued. The fact that he risked someone he valued. Not that he had much of a choice, as he couldn't bear to stay there. But it is this fact, him abandoning her when he should have protected her, that forced him into the realization that he needs to change.
Wonderful contribution.
Really though, I would love to hear some actual counter-arguments. How does someone reconcile bare assed Puck as Guts's companion as being anything other than some latent homosexuality?
...
You truly are a fucking idiot
Puck is comic relief with barbie-doll tier nudity. He isn't an erotic object. Guts barely even registers him as a companion. The manga never focuses on his ass.
The only homosexual here is you, though in your case it's not latent.
Your posts reek of projection and retardation and don't deserve actual recognition.
Holy shit I came here to post this. Are you me?
Yes, I am. But the others must not know, lest they call us samefag.
