I think the only one was Moomin. I knew Pokemon was Japanese because when they first showed it they said something about it being a new craze in Japan.

Dragon Ball Z

Well this is the anime and manga board. Why would it be mentioned?

How can someone be this new? Lurk a bit next time.

...

This looks like some Miyazaki shit

Wow, the new card. Never seen that before. Maybe you should've paid attention in your English class, then you'd understand how loanwords work.

>Animes
>rec thread
lurk more you fucking retard

>no one is allowed to discuss anime on Sup Forums without it being a "rec thread"
You're the reason why we have 8 pages of flavor-of-the-week template threads, everyday until you like its, and waifu threads. No discussion allowed.

>entire thread is people listing series
>not a rec thread
>defending obvious newfags that say "animes"
Lurk for 2 years before posting, faggot. This isn't a discussion thread.

>I don't have an argument so I'll just keep saying new until he gets bored and stops replying
It didn't turn out to be a great thread but it had potential or at the very least was something out of the ordinary, something unusual to break up the monotony of modern Sup Forums

Anime is made in Japan?!

Not always

Nah man

...

what is this

...

HEIDI HEIDO HEIDA

>everyone and everything is newfag

...

20 years watching this

This and speed racer. Especially since Samurai Pizza Cats was on Kids WB and Speed Racer was on Cartoon Network since the beginning.

If it was on American tv before 1996, then I had no idea it was anime.

He'll, even Thundercats
The late 80s were a glorious period of collaboration.

Really?

>Animes
Why hasn't anyone in this thread called this blatant ASLfag out yet?

No, it's made in Korea.

This, I was astonished to hear it was Japanese.

Unironically Pokemon.

He can't, he wants to be an epic memer trying to say animes don't make sense but goes and post fujos unironically with the s.
In other words, trying hard to fit in.

You're late:

no way. even though its not anime, this is my pick too. wtf

This is true for those who are wondering. It was (partially) animated in Japan.

inspector gadget

Holy shit I did not know that. Watched it as a kid and had no clue. Thought it was british or something.

Digimon.

>Animes
And if I never realised it, how the fuck am I supposed to tell?

The Scooby doo zombie movie...

WHO DO YOU CALL WHEN YOU WANT SOME PEPPERONI?

>at the very least was something out of the ordinary
Kill yourself

just because it's made in japan doesn't mean it's anime and just because it's anime doesnt mean its made in japan

holy shit

So
Is this an European thread?

子猫物語 it was the third highest grossing film ever in Japan.

Having only austrian public television as a kid wasn't so bad after all

oh and this on german public broadcasting station.
But only when my parents weren't at home because it was too violent for 6 year olds...

Entirely made in japan.

Reminder that this was at Wonder Festival.

Little Lulu to Chitcha na Nakama

This one's a real interesting case. The Milo and Otis version was actually cut separately from the huge amount of raw footage originally shot during Koneko Monogatari's production. This means that moth Koneko Monogatari and Milo and Otis have scenes that are unique to that version and not in the other.

Oh, and Koneko Monogatari's soundtrack was made by Ryuichi Sakamoto of Yellow Magic Orchestra fame. Great stuff.

It's just Ninja Science Team Gatchaman with a less autistic title. 100% nip

when my family finally decided to get cable, I was glued to the tv on saturday mornings watching those until my eyes hurt.

good times

Also it had a Famicom game in Japan, but it's fucking terrible and not worth your time at all.

>Animes
Fuck off.

Yu gi oh

not entirely produced, the basic designs and storyboards were produced in the US, but the animation is 100% Japanese. Easy to tell, now

Honestly all of them that aired in my country. I would recognize the art style and just saw them as cartoons from Japan. I didn't start watching anime as anime until pretty recent.

Mighty Orbots.

I know Osamu Dezaki worked on some Bible anime. Is it this one?

Don't forget Wickie.

Soundtrack too good. This is how you rescore, America.

Literally a non-country. If any, he´s bohemian. And Bohemia is part of the Heiliges Römisches Reich Teutscher Nation, that means he is german.

No way. Maja is German. German writer and German artist.
