Not that user, but probably not. OG was very low-key for most of its runtime and not what I'd call "exciting" most episodes, though I did think it was much better than Stars. Meanwhile Stars has a lot more drama, particularly in mid-season 1 and early season 2. It's based more around interpersonal conflict, people competing against each other rather than just doing their best and seeing what happens. It's not black and white, but I'd say direct competition is a stronger element in Stars, which could be considered more interesting.

S1 is just Yume using Rola as a punching bag and S4 being S4, so far S2 has been Elza cocksucking, your opinion is wrong.

They competed directly but that was 90% of it.
In Stars it's pretty much always "gotta beat Yume", "gotta beat X-senpai"

My problem is that in Stars they never really compete FOR anything outside of the S4 selection. No cups to win, no units to make, nothing tangible to show actual signs of progression all because "muh s4".

I remember being pretty miffed that they made units in that one episode and never mentioned it again.

I was late for Ex-Aid but damn, even without catching up I can tell how good KiraKira was today.

Kirara definitely is the most interesting character out of the boat bunch.
In fact up until now only Yuzu, Kirara continue to be interesting characters for me. While Rola felt like she had a bit of spark at the beginning of stars which quickly died off and Ako who was killing it around the s4 competition, also died off due to being shoved off the boat recently. Stars has too many unispiring characters that make the interactions feel dull and generic.

She's the only one I'm really interested in.
