I really despise appeals to emotion to manipulate people in the news.
On the one hand its sad, on the other hand its macabre and disgusting how they use the deaths of children to shill for a political stance. The endgame of which is ironically more war in the middle east and more boots on the grounds, further creating more radicalized notions against Western powers.

>lose war syria crumbles to bad leadership >win war syria gets in more conflicts and political turmoil until it finally cracks under the pressure due to the amount of in-fighting and division such a war would cause among the average population.
this could have been prevented if the war ended sooner, but both side's supporters dragged their feet too much.

>putin is a genius :DDDDDD >5D chess :DDDD
Putin is just a Slav brainlet, just like the Soviet leadership who got involved in Afghanistan in the 80s. The only way to win in the Middle-East is by simply not playing.

Yes Russia has gained nothing by getting involved in Syria its just exactly like Afghanistan, what a brainlet you show yourself to be.

Points include headquarters, logistical nodes, drone control rooms, training centers, and other related sites. Does not include temporary front-line positions.

the whole thing is this: westerners are brought up with the idea that america is good and russia is bad. So when america is bad we are disappointed, but when it's good we don't care. Meanwhile, when Russia is bad we don't care but when it's good we're like "wow, maybe they're not so bad" when in fact they are just as bad or worse. 80% of the anger towards america from westerners is just disappointment that they aren't like the heroes in the cowboy movies, and the russians get the exact opposite treatment.

Having that many "bases" would be a waste of money. They are Syrian bases or garrisons where Iranian forces are stationed and training Syrians, not at all comparable to a foreign military base in Syria. And why would Iran set up a base inside the Foua enclave in Idlib? Lol. Yes. bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-43120815

I'm asking myself the very same question since a few days. Tigers work like this: media blackout, poof, out of the suddes all is painted red. So guess we won't know much before and during the action, just to witness dozens of dead jihadis the day after.
